That thing looks like a whole apartment complex on the move
It is, here around North East Texas they have an open coal mine with a couple huge 18 or so man crew shovels. They're like a ridiculous crane with a bucket than can pick up chunks of coal the size of shotgun shacks. I think the crew stay out a couple weeks at a time maybe and just mines coal then the other shift of guys comes out and takes over. Like two crews. Not sure how they run it these days. They've been out there mining decades.

Ah I watched a deal about the big Drag lines. Those things have a three man crew these days. They're self propelled. Can scoop about 100 tons of material each time I think it said. A house would fit in it's bucket. They're ridiculous how much material they can move in a 12 hour shift.
Oh and the drag lines are electric powered. Plugged in by a ridiculous extension cord 😂
It’s kinda funny how it just hops along to move. No wheels, no tires, no tracks not even a rail system. Nope it just hops along on to its next dig site.
