Atjen's underground seems a lot less hostile than Ebott's. New Home and Dryedout are about the same level of threat as Ruins and Snowdin, sure, but Leafpile is a lot less "you're a human, you need to die" threatening than Waterfall (the main threat in Leafpile is the paintball game, which is at least a little less fatal than Undyne was), and in Coldfront neither Napstablook nor Undyne is hostile to Kris. ...perhaps that checks out with Toriel being in charge. At this rate, I'm expecting a reveal that this Underground DOESN'T have a "kill humans to take their SOULs" mission.

But i've liked that concept of napstablook not using a body, it shows that they don't need to be corporeal to ̶K̶i̶c̶k̶ ̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶a̶s̶s̶ cast REAL magic

Okay, I love this soul mode concept, and the combination! I feel like it'd make sense to have the point of the heart be cyan while the rest is purple in the combined mode, yeah? Either way--AMAZING track, I love it!
Idk, i thought the cyan to have an parry ability like in Scampton the great or deltatraveler, and the orange soul to have an dash ability, so they are like the opposite of each other, the orange souls is needed for dodging attacks fast, and the cyan soul is used to parry an attack
I don't think I understand why that matters when none of those soul modes are remotely canon. These don't make sense for the characters that use them here, and the soul colors don't even have the same effects here as they do in Undertale.
I get where you are coming from ,but at the end of the day I think it's better if we don't standardize the soul modes in favor of having more variety in the fandom.
Prefacing this by saying that I'm most definitely still going to forget to mention specific things here but I'll do what I can. There actually is no motive. This isn't technically considered a fight, at least not narratively. Kris doesn't even have the option to fight or spare, because there's no perceived threat on either side. Kris CAN still use ACT options, which generally prompt more dialogue or even specific effects to trigger (no clue what examples of this there might be), and additionally they can heal on their turn. The battle format is just a way to represent the magic show and the effects it has on Kris and their SOUL. Kris can take damage as a result of Napstablook's magic tricks. It's not an intentional outcome on their part, but it's still there. There's proooobably "better" ways to handle this but I think it's a neat way of recontextualizing the battle format to work in other contexts, kind of like how Papyrus' date in Undertale takes on a similar visual approach (though in this case, of course, it removes a lot of the actual battle UI.)
@@dashingtoadie Idea: Napstablook asks you at some point before the point if you are willing to be part of a "more dangerous" magic show. If you say no (assuming the diallouge isn't just like Yes/of Course) then you skip the fight. Sure in terms of game design it would be anticlimatic ,but in terms of character it would fit right in.
*Napstablook is preparing a very supernatural attack!... *Wait, no, that's just Napstablook being Napstablook.

Both of the SOUL ideas for this battle are great. This does seem like it's going to be a very hard fight, but then so was Mettaton EX.
Here so soon, my like doesnt even pop up
That being said, THIS IS A CERTIFIED BANGER! U deserve a whole lot more recognition than u get!
The second half is SO GOOD! Worthy successor to The Saxophone.
Leitmotifs
Hey I found the comment that only says Leitmotifs!
@Xman_0613 congratulations 🎊
This song is supernaturally awesome.
Quite the interesting Cyan SOUL idea! Wonder how it was created?
Also, the song's a banger as always.

Huh, no "Last Episode!" replacement. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just a bit surprising since Monster Mix's Flowey did have it.
It could be for the genocide fight instead idk
Nvm lol
@@Swarps We both spoke too soon, it seems.

are you…… ready?

Voce já fez a megalovania?
Queria ver como ficaria nesse AU.
Nos temos que esperar bastante pra isso
We'll need to wait for the Genocide route.
What exactly is Napstablook's motive for fighting Kris here?

@@dashingtoadie So would Blooky have a reaction if they accidentally kill Kris, similarly to what happens when dying to Toriel?
It's like an extended 'final attack' from Deltarune, with the exception you can basically react and heal during it.
