Fucking love this dude. Raw and unfiltered.
I've been out of the game for too long and it has made everything worse. Getting back in to it. This style of training, with the environment, reminds me of when I was hungry for it.

Nice to see you back Drascus. I am in a similar position to you at the moment with escaping continuous routines and habits, since I've left home and returned to university for the final year of my bachelors degree in history. I look forward to be getting back in the gym tomorrow and beginning hiking again to clear my mind (something I highly recommend). My studies have become so much easier with this mental clarity I have gained through escaping the city for the countryside at least once a week.

I've been doing hikes and going fishing with my dad since getting back from my vacation as well. Anything to get out of the house.

Was that Blood Command playing at the end?! Good session/channel btw, new here. Some memories of old LittleBeastM vibes.

Recently stumbled upon your videos randomly and been enjoying them however I wanted to ask you a question as I am newer to working out and you seem knowledgeable.
I lost about 50kg in a year w just deadlifts n walking but I was assaulted not long ago by a person w a bat, which left me demotivated for training.
I wanted to wait for my left shoulder + leg to heal however I haven't picked it up again and I feel a bit lost on what exercises might be good, deadlifts are a bit too much for me now even at lower weights (also my body is telling me not to when I have attempted)
So I wanted to ask if you had any good shoulder or leg movements you could recommend that don't need a lot of weight atleast until I've got my strength back.
Sorry for the long question! Keep up the good videos.

If you've got access to a gym with machines and equipment I'd say you should start light, train your whole body, go through full ranges of motion on everything. You're going to thank yourself further down the line if you commit to maintaining your mobility despite your injuries. It's likely some things are going to hurt when you train - my philosophy regarding pain is this: if it hurts but doesn't get worse, you can work through it, but if a movement actively makes the pain worse, you should look for an alternative.
If you're able to walk alright, keep it up, if you can't, try a stationary bike, swimming, anything to just keep you moving and the blood flowing.
There are plenty of exercises that you can swap deadlifts out for if they're aggravating your injuries, I recommend checking out exrx.net for a big library of those, you can search movements (and stretches) by muscle group.
My heart goes out to you in regards to the situation you've been through. All I can say is you just gotta keep going, even if you've been slowed down or discouraged. Everything will sort itself out as long as you keep working.

Why do you do 3x5 pull ups unweighted? I'm pretty sure you could go at least 30kg for 5x5

@@Mephitid yeah but at his level 3x5 is not even considered a warm up. Was just curious didn't mean to sound criticizing
