    Bro, this vid convinced me to get this set. I put them in my American Strat and I am so happy I did! Thank you!

    I have now installed a set of these in my old Japanese strat copy (branded "Strings", and I think also sold in the late 70's as Hohner). I absolutely love them and can barely bring myself to pick up any of my other guitars as it would mean time not spent playing with the Mother's Milks. They sound fantastic beyond all my hopes and expectations.

    Nice to see a demo with someone playing with feel. I had a bareknuckle mothers milk in neck position on my telecaster. Loved it

    Very nice playing I’ve just acquired a mim strat in lake placid blue with those pick ups in it’s the exact sound I have been after. Can’t put it down!

    Love the sparkle on the high end and the focused woody bottom end. The BK website says these are best suited for rosewood fingerboards but I thought they sounded just fine with this maple.

      It's at least loosely inspired by him. All their pickups have names invoking other artists, "Irish Tour is Rory Gallagher, etc. I'm here now because I'm looking to get some good pickups for Frusciante tones.

    It's been days of trying to find good pickup demonstration of a pickup set that lets me hear the guitars tonal wood. I'm wondering if that vespa you've got has something special ad these pickups brought this out or if it really is gonna transform my classic vibe 60's style start.

  • @robertbrown2728

    I know somebody else touched on this question here but when you chose these were you concerned that's bare-knuckle don't particularly recommend them for maple fretboard guitars? I keep listening to all the different bare-knuckle versions and coming back to these. My 1970s Japanese Strat copy is not the brightest maple fretboard Strat so I'm thinking they might be a good match for it .

      I can feel my bank account wincing in advance. Is the middle pickup in your set the RW/RP or the stock version without hum cancelling? I've only just found out that it makes quite a difference, particularly to the in between sounds 2 and 4. Your 2 and 4 positions sound great.

      @presinald 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I'd certainly hope so! These are premium 60s-inspired pickups, stock MIM pickups vary a lot and are often hotter, and some are ceramic (bad) while others are alnico.

    I think these are the best stratocaster pickup you can buy, I have a set in one strat and the strat I'm having built is getting them in, I have some lindy fralin blues pickups in my USA stratocaster and they sound nice but I just prefer the tone more from barenuckles, mind the bridge pickup on the fralins is the best bridge I have ever heard, but I rarely use bridge pickups lol, I'm thinking of buying that one bridge with the neck and middle mothers milk

    Hey, just stumbled upon this when looking for upgrade options for my 90s RI Duo Sonic. I really like crisp 60s sounds, but also things like Nirvana and Sonic Youth. Worry one: they don't pack a punch enough for Indie. Worry two: the very short scale of my guitar (22.7") might make them sound very mellow rather than crisp. Any idea?

    These or the true grit?? I've got a MIM strat with a dimazio hot rail in the bridge which I really like but love the single coil tone. There's just a bit too much difference between the stock pickups and the hot rail at the minute. I was wondering what peoples thoughts were. The stuff I love to play is chili peppers, Rory Gallagher, Nirvana. Stuff like that. I love the clarity of single coils. Either looking to replace all the pickups or keep the hot rail and replace the middle and neck pickup. Thoughts would really be appreciated thank you all very much 🤘🎸🤘
