Not really a fan but can appreciate a beautiful plant. Anthuriums and Alocasias aren’t my vibe. Still watched the whole video though. I enjoy watching your videos.
I am a huge fan of anthurium. I have a waroc, regale, crystalinum, clarinervium and cirinoi. I recently bought a bunch of seedlings, a mag x with mag x ( mother was a hybrid of mag and something, father was pure mag ) a silver crystal hybrid of something or other, a wild AOS "purple", a forgetii dark x AOS, a doc block Zara x michelle, and an AOS verde. I'm super excited to get them next week 😍🥳
Hi Grace! I don't have any Anthuriums in my current collection...had one previously and it died...however, recently shopped and seeing the ones with the shiny red leaves, some with shiny white leaves, and some with the dark purple, almost black leaves in my local big box store... I'd gladly send you one...they are lovely and may change my mind and get another after watching this video...well done! I like how the leaves look like leaves within a leaf...if that makes sense. And almost fitting your nail colors are names around plants! Clever clever! or coincidence?? I look forward to the next video! P.S. I like the gold/brassy look with the pot...may inspire me to try this in my collection when potting.
Hi Lily, sorry for the late response. I think sometimes I don't get notified with some comments. Anyway, you're so lucky to have these readily available where you are :) they're not the easiest to care for IMO but try your hand and see how you go! I like how you described it as leaves within a leaf. I can kinda see what you mean! Sometimes I match my nails but most times it's a happy coincidence tbh 😆
@@MyFellowFoliage No worries! I've made an executive decision...no plants until spring for me. It's starting to look more like winter which means less sun and want my current collection to be placed in areas where light comes in or at least gets a window...I enjoyed your last video and it helped me feel less overwhelmed and focus on some self care and not let the plants dominate my time...I was starting to resent my plants and have great self control. I still window shop when I am out...but will curb my cravings, unless I trip over a "must" have for my collection. I'm crushing on simple plants, pothos, philos, and all things vining...with a touch of monstera, and trailing turtles, and pearls. Thanks for the reply and look forward to your next video! Hugs!
They are really beautiful, and now I want to buy one, but I'm running out of space for more plants haha Thanks for the video P.S. I bought a pink and a white hypoestes a few days ago, they were only two dollars each and they looked so pretty I just 'had' to buy them ^^ Here in Denmark they're nicknamed "freckle face"
Oh space is such a rarity these days with plants 😂 If you can get anthurium clarinervium for cheap in Denmark, I hope you at least give that one a try! They are too beautiful to pass up 😬 Oh I know the ones, they are very cute those hypoestes. They are called polka dot plants here in Australia 😆
@My Fellow Foliage I can't find a anthurium clarinervium here for less than 40 USD, wich ist too much for me right now. Winter season is coming, so I should wait until spring to buy one anyway ^^ worth saving up for sure
I can’t paint my nails for the life of me lol. I used to have a whole bunch of colors, but ended up giving them away. Kinda miss doing nails now. Ugh. Love your anthuriums! All lookin great, I only have one so far. My forgettii dark form is hanging in there.
Hahah I used to be the same but it gets better with practice! I find it very relaxing to do my nails so it's my form of self care :) my anthuriums took a looooong time to acclimatise but thankfully it's doing much better now. Once we find the right care for it, they aren't too bad!
Hi there sorry for the late response. For some reason I wasn't notified. They don't need direct light from my experience and prefer indirect light. The lower the light, the darker the foliage from what I hear
Are you guys a fan of anthuriums? What are your favourites? 💚
It’s a slippery slope 🤣 love my two!! Can’t wait to collect more
@@graciedavoren922 I know what you mean! Especially slippery because there are just endless hybrids 😂

@@JamCanGurl it took me awhile to get into anthuriums and I agree with you about alocasias. Thanks for your lovely comment! That's so sweet 🥰🙏🏻

Luv the silver hybrid and blush 😍
Thank you Tonya, they're one of my favs too! 😊
I love the leaves on your silver blush ☺.
How cute are they! I can't wait for more ☺️
Thank you so much for showing us your polishes! You have beautiful nails, and you've convinced me to make a holo taco order 😆
Anytime! I think holo taco makes beautiful polishes and I hope you like them too! 😊
Your nails always look so cute. I’ve killed the couple anthuriums I’ve had so I haven’t tried another in a while.
Aw thanks hun! I understand. Anthuriums are the hardest for me to care for and I still don't have the care nailed down. They're tough!

What are the best lighting options for them indoors?

I get them from Instagram sellers :) they are other plant enthusiast who pollinate themselves
