What a doll! Remember what it was like to be a kid back in 1991? I needed that nostalgic feeling. 1991-1999 wow those day, buffalo bills unbeatable, feeling like a kid, not knowing about world, riding your bike.. not giving a shit, hanging around with friends and older girls/baby sitters who listen to mtv with Gwen stefani kind of days. Only if life could be on a 1990s loop. Yes, I’ve moved on, but the 90s are what people today are missing and have missed. People still respected elders; to a degree. I’m only 33. And I’ll never trade anything for the memories of a 90s childhood, no matter how good or bad it may’ve been. Only if you could get ahold of all the people you spent it with back then. NO DOUBT was a massive part of those sunny days. From Buffalo, but I barely remember a winter, nothing but sunshine and theme park days in my memories. Maybe I suppressed a lot, I don’t know.
No doubt got sold out, they started back in 1986 I think, they really helped move the 3rd wave ska movement back then (like operation Ivy) , I miss the old gwen before she went B.A.N.A.N.A 🤣. I still love her even here newest no dought album. I just miss her more of the ska element old gwen. Makes you feel young forever. Love ya gwen, keep on dancing 🌠🌟💛✌️🤟😇😈👽
@D Williams they did help move the 3rd wave ska, there is a 4th wave revolution now 🥴. So many 3rd wave ska exploded on the scene after no doubt and operation Ivy (operation Ivy quit because they were growing momentum and getting attention) and I'm not saying its just them helped move it along. Jesse Michaels say they were just kids doing there own thing and then and now are an inspiration to so many band's. Anyway I don't care what you think because I know it's true. Music is tribal and a universal language. 🖕
@D Williams I'm from England and obviously there is alot of roots, it all come about when the mods mixed up with Jamaican people and fused that rude boy sound but for some reason the neo Nazi skinheads took that look in the 70s and that's why alot of people think skinheads are racist. Bye rude boy from stone henge.
You can't reverse the way things are And try to change all that is around But you can try and shape and make a new start Go with the way you know And in time it will show In one direction you'll blow When you find which way to go you'll find that you go far Til then you'lll never know exactly who you are no You gotta keep going with the grain If you wanna get very far You gotta keep going with the grain The grain is who you are Take it with a grain of salt You gotta keep going with the grain It's impossbile to try and change To try and go against the grain that you have Don't try to branch off in to other paths When you find which way it goes You'll find that you go far Til then you'lll never know exactly who you are You gotta keep going with the grain If you wanna get very far You gotta keep going with the grain The grain is who you are Take it with a grain of salt You gotta keep going with the grain You've got to change like the autumn leaves, you're falling right into place You're falling all over the place Must be picking yourself up each day Over and over and over and over and over and over each day Go with the way you know And in time it will show In one direction you'll blow Go with the grain, if you wanna get very far You gotta keep going with the grain The grain is who you are Take it with a grain of salt You gotta keep going with the grain Gotta keep going, gotta keep going with the grain Gotta keep going, gotta keep going Gotta keep going, gotta keep going with the grain Gotta keep going, gotta keep going
Up Yours is another really old, like pre first album song, circa 1991/92. It was only available on the California Ska Quake Comp, and a bootleg Ska EP, that also had a cover of Guns of Navarone, and a few other old two tone era, 2nd wave Ska covers. The Ska EP. The quality of Up yours on the comp was way better produced, and accentuated the horns section more than on the EP bootleg.
Can't imagine how it was growing up in the early 90's. Must've been magical. :(
Tom Dumont is such an underrated guitar player. I wish No Doubt did more music like this. Can't believe this never made it on an album.
This is so good

I too remember with melancholy the years of my youth .... and the music of NO DOUBT is fully within those shining days.
So cool to see all the old photos.

You can't reverse the way things are
And try to change all that is around
But you can try and shape and make a new start
Go with the way you know
And in time it will show
In one direction you'll blow
When you find which way to go you'll find that you go far
Til then you'lll never know exactly who you are no
You gotta keep going with the grain
If you wanna get very far
You gotta keep going with the grain
The grain is who you are
Take it with a grain of salt
You gotta keep going with the grain
It's impossbile to try and change
To try and go against the grain that you have
Don't try to branch off in to other paths
When you find which way it goes
You'll find that you go far
Til then you'lll never know exactly who you are
You gotta keep going with the grain
If you wanna get very far
You gotta keep going with the grain
The grain is who you are
Take it with a grain of salt
You gotta keep going with the grain
You've got to change like the autumn leaves, you're falling right into place
You're falling all over the place
Must be picking yourself up each day
Over and over and over and over and over and over each day
Go with the way you know
And in time it will show
In one direction you'll blow
Go with the grain, if you wanna get very far
You gotta keep going with the grain
The grain is who you are
Take it with a grain of salt
You gotta keep going with the grain
Gotta keep going, gotta keep going with the grain
Gotta keep going, gotta keep going
Gotta keep going, gotta keep going with the grain
Gotta keep going, gotta keep going
flawless!!!!

Is this the B side of a single? I can't find any information about this song anywhere. It's great, though!
