Japan Shirakawa-go Walking Tour - Gifu [ Bus station / Top of the hill ]

Shirakawa-go is a village famous for its architectural style called Gassho-zukuri. It has been certified as a world heritage site. It is a peaceful village lined with private houses.
I got off the bus and took a detour to the top of the mountain pass. There is a shorter route, which I took on my way down.
At the top of the pass, there is a souvenir shop called ``Tenshukaku.'' There is a food shop. You can sit on a clean bench and enjoy the panoramic view of Shirakawa-go.
