You have some good 3D vibes going on there girl. Nothing wrong with using what's works for you Camile, we all have different techniques and have different brands available to us, it's what makes art so exciting.
This is very captivating! Always very creative! Enjoyed watching & learning it’s so adorable & beautiful technique! You finished it skillfully! Thank you for this sharing! Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
An absolute glowing beautiful pearl pour Camile! One of my favorites! It really does glow!! I miss your voice, it was good to hear you! If you used all very pale colors could you use something besides black for the "dump" color like maybe a metallic?😍🎨👑😘Did you have a base coat down?
Thank you Barbie 🥰...no base coat on the canvas...I have only used white as my lightest dump color and it worked well....never considered using Metallics but that is a fantastic idea for a future pour😃🥰❤❤❤❤
Thanks Camille for the information it’s so valuable. And you piece of art it’s really beautiful , I love it. So you said that the conditioner and extender used we can find it at lows or Home Depot, right? Thanks again👍🙏🌷
Thank you for showing how you do this type of painting. I always use to much paint, so by time I move it around it's to much and I end up losing what makes the cells🥴.
your technique gives beautiful results! I have never gotten cells like those and I'm trying to better understand. I realize that different colors in the same brand of paint will have different densities, so did you choose this particular color combo bc their densities work well together? can I layer most any deco art colors together to get these sorts of cells? how much thinner should the black paint be and does it also have the paint extender and liquitex medium in it? I hope you can tell us more details of how you mix each color. thank you!
Hey great question....yes the density and pigments of each colours of the same brand are slightly different and will have different reactions when mixed together...I love using DecoArt paints because they create beautiful cells...I believe it's because of the fact they are more soft body and lower in viscosity...yes I add all the Same ingredients to my Black....so when you mix the colours it should leave a slight mount (but quickly disappear) when pour back into cup from off your popsicle stick...the black should leave a mount , however not watery....it takes practice and you will get great results...thanks
I mix these colours approximately 1:1 Wagner latex paint conditioner, about 1 table spoon zinsser latex extender, a drizzle of liquitex pouring medium adding water to get right consistency....don't add all pouring medium all at once...try to use paints that are more soft body and lower in viscosity for this technique...remember to mix your black pour over slightly thinner....all the best...
You're amazing Camile, I can't believe how these cells appear...Look at you go girl!!!
