He made sure that he broke up with Mandi before he pursued Wu Tong. When Wu Tong wanted to keep their marriage from the public because she was not ready to face her mother-in-law, and did not know how to explain her marriage to her own parents, LeeZM readily offered a solution to give Wu Tong peace of mind. He went to Nanjing to see his parents-in-law. He was humiliated several times by the father of Wu Tong, yet, he felt jealous because Wu Tong's father loved his daughter. LeeZM did not have that experience where his absent father failed to show love for him and Madame Lee.

This series made me cringe so much, especially the brothers forgiving and crying to each other when they both successfully destroyed a loving and caring human being who only wanted to heal the family breach. None of those people is worth her suffering. It's still all about them and their feelings.. She never should go back, how can she trust them not to hurt her again? Sorry is just so lame. (He didn't stop for her when she fell earlier)

I believe the reason Li Zhong Mou forgave and embraced Xiang Jung so easily was because he had always wanted and craved family, brotherly love from him and finally got it and wasn't going to let it go.
Pretty lame, actually. But then this whole thing was pretty pathetic. If he had what he needed from his brother he shouldn't go after Wu Tong. Just leave her alone and allow her to finally heal after they all hurt her so very much.

It is unfortunate that Wu Tong gave Xiam Jun an opportunity to crack his friendship with her. He had criminal intention to use Wu Tong to destroy LeeZM. LeeZM on the other hand never missed giving his wife a warning that Xiam Jun did not see his wife as a friend but as a lover, to an extent a paramour because Wu Tong never set a boundary to Xiam Jun. She allowed him to embrace her and it was seen by her husband and Madame Lee which caused her valid suspicion that both Wu Tong and Xiam Jun acted to hurt LeeZM. She goes to his apartment, wrote and left a note outside his door because she was worried for him even if she was already emotionally attached to LeeZM. Xiam Jun was an adult not a child, but an emotionally infantile guy. To a certain extent, Wu Tong who was already married, gave way to Xiam Jun to cause crack of their friendship by drugging her with the intention of sexually molesting her. Xiam Jun's actions are personification of evil in this world. I wish the scriptwriters made him criminally liable as he successfully destroy the honor of Wu Tong.
You cant just blame Wu Tong for what Xiam Jun did. People have the right to go to what they believe is a trusting friends place and not expect to be molested by the so called friend. Just because you think youre in love with someone whether they are married or not doesn't give you the right to drug and molest them in anyway. Wu Tong had no idea and would never have allowed that to happen to her even if she wasn't married. Who would? But yes, I wish the screen writer made Xiam Jun more responsible for what he did because he really violated Wu Tong, made her homeless and had her child taken away.
Drugging her is a criminal act even in China I’m sure. There should have been consequences for that.

Xiam Jun is not just an idiot in his character, he is also an emotionally infantile boy, a crying baby who's lust for Wu Tong destroyed the latter's marriage with LeeZM. I wish the script writers made Xiam Jun criminally liable at the end of the story.
