Those are pretty shellcracker. It's amazing how they can be colored differently depending on where they are caught and I guess it comes down to water color. It's not uncommon to find 2 - 2.5 lbers and they get larger just not as common.
I used to watch it every Sunday. Got to be more commentary and talking than fishing. This just showed up , from the time I started texting just now sill talking. Really. Go away.
What type of bottom most of the area around those trees are...is it rocks, soft bottom or very stumpy? I know slow is the way to go but is it a place you need to stay out of if you never been before?
Jay Collins it’s normally a sandy/muddy bottom. Most of the time they bed on a sandy area but it could be muddy near by. Normally in about 2-4 feet of water. Lots of stumps so go slow but no rocks except around the dam. Go get’m!
What part of Santee Lake Marion were 😢y'all fishing for the shell cracker bream?
Why not use a bream buster...easy peezy?

Nothing like a day of catching slab shell crackers. They fight so hard for their size. Not to mention one of the best tasting fish out there.
I did not click on this video to watch a bunch of f--- commercials!
What size eagle claw hook you use?
That's easy catch great size
