The guys a genius no doubt. He was a driving force behind the scene and everybody copied his sound. He pumped out tons of classics within that scene in a very short space of time. Hardcore in the 90s wouldn't be the same without him, especially in Scotland
Scott Lee without a doubt, after all, he practically invented techno haha, everything he’s remixed turned out better than the originals too ( I vouch for this 100% with his 90s stuff ) 😀👌
You probably dont care but if you're bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last weeks xD
@@carlnoy8828 He was talented, but was a very safe DJ. Played it safe with his mixes for 95% of the time. Was always the dj with the big tunes earlier than others, but compared to DJs like Brisk, he just played it too safe.
I’m a hard house head but Scott browns tracks and melodies in hardcore are absolutely unreal this bloke has always had serious talent 👌 love the bonkers series with his stuff on
The best DJ and producer of hardcore that there has ever been....some of the best 90s tunes were made by this man! Seen him play at many clubs and raves back in the day whether it was Qtex or the many other names he went under...some of his finest work has gotta be on the bonkers albums..too many bangers to mention... I still listen to his music when cruising in the motor, my oldest kids in there 20s down to my youngest whos 14 all love his music too...big shout out to Mr Brown🙌 he will never know how many brilliant nights me and my m8s have had, oot oor chicken cutting shapes at house parties.
Awesome to see and hear the 🐐 at work! Crazy to think that he has the freshest sound around yet alot is made on old equipment. Scott brown is the best to ever do it. I remember boomstick being released, what a classic
Happy hard-core these days is for weans my 11 year old neice listens to it shouting listen to this fuck the trance scene late 90s 2000s I would love to go back to that still love my trace even now I'm 48 trance family will never go away ❤️
Such a shame Scott doesnt make any new music, He wrote so many anthems from the early 90s up until the end of the 00's. Defo miss seeing and hearing new tracks from the man.
@@carlstardjso I take it he's in the same position as Scooter at the moment, just not making as much tracks as before and just realising singles once in a blue moon. Wow true classic techno really is dying.
Remember Scott years ago used jump about in a beat up black I think it was golf gti ( probably wrong on the car) used to bring it into the Cumbernauld college wearing the Fubar jacket. You were my fucking idol back then.
The absolute king of the Scottish hardcore scene! To think he was doing this well before some of us seen that Fantazia Big Bang vhs tape back in the day and that amazing QTex set on it! Hes been around since he was a young guy ! Hes behind hundreds of tracks and youd only know if ye looked at the sleeve and seen his name on it! I did think hed have been in a fancy studio though😂
Love seeing these old hardware studios, now days we take it for granted that you can do all of that and more in a single computer, though it's debatable which sounds best.
Get down Scott Brown! 2003-2005 was when he produced his best. Back and Forth, and, The Chase is a couple of dance floor bangers. You can probably name 50 tunes from that time.
This guy is the reason why I was listening to Happy Hardcore (which is totally shit now) and he as well brought my hears to the Hardcore movement with his track ''Capital Murder'' (which was featuring Neophyte). Can't believe he retired, that is so sick. Both movement need him, he has way too much talent.
Remix Hardcore you know the score, Fly with you and some new awesome shit. God damn Scott Brown. This guy is a fucking legend. Best Artist of all time.
This looks complicated as f**k!! Nothing what I imagined, didn't think they'd need so much technology to make a simple trance/hardcore tune.. Huge respect and props to them!!! Scott Brown should've been more popular than he was - Elysium is one of the best tunes in history
There's only so much you can create just using a PC lol I say "create" as in, Create your own sounds not just download others. And good mastering takes good equipment. Proper tracks are not made on a laptop sat on ya bed :)
qtex bassx anything this guy done was fuckin magic some of the best rave music ever committed to record this guys a fuckin genius best days of my life i dont know how many times i ve seen this guy thanks for the memories scott ..!!
To the techno haters out there who say its not talent it's just noise just watch this video, look at Scott's studio and tell me you completely understand how it works, cause I can never figure it out for the life of me.
Your a legend scott m8...love to be let loose in your studio, you got some mind blowing synths n bits. Made a few tunz meself back in the day on me amiga using octamed and protracker - 4 channel only very limited. Anyway great vid \\o \o/ o//
