The mushroom does slightly boost the movement speed. So technically it is a third movement speed item.

Yeah, but the cooldown and the amount of speed it gives you really isn't worth it to waste a deathcap when you probably need it most
@@ZeFishy I have enough cool down on my armor. So my death cap is always active. It's off of cool down just before its effects wear off.

RagtagMo he likely just has a robe like the guy in the video, but stacked cooldown enchantments. If youre super lucky, you can get a robe with 3 cooldown enchants. Maxing them out basically removes cooldown entirely on speed items

@@JoeLloyd3102 It only works on PC. In the Soggy Cave you can stand in the corner next to the 3rd door and click on it to exit to the diamond chest, which normally can only be accessed by opening the other 2 doors first
for the desert temple you can get up to 4 chests (3 golden/1 obsidian) (with the right layout)
there are 4 extra rooms with the signals, if you activate all 3 you gain access to the middle of the room and there is a gold chest aswell
and if youre lucky 1 of the 4 rooms have a golden chest aswell (~ every 8th run)
Soggy swamp is also a good one. Just speed through the level and near the end an obsidian chest will sometimes spawn and then you go and kill the boss (use a bow with fuse shot and just spam it from a distance it takes about 30 seconds on apocalypse VI) uniques drop from it quite a bit.
There's also a pig chest and a miniboss that can drop uniques.
Best farm. Two boots of swiftness with a cool down reduction on armor. One ghost cloak for if you get stuck. Go to the cow level. Run past all mobs, when you get to boss switch to mushroom cap and gong. Should be able to melt boss in a couple seconds with the right gear. At most takes me two minutes. I've gotten 10 new uniques in the last hour.

Bay Xtero you get mushroom level from getting runes. There is a rune in every level and you have to beat arch illager at least once

There’s a great skip for soggy cave, I believe on PC you can skip the whole thing by going to the corner closest to the exit locked by the two barriers and clicking on the exit door. For console, one room on the left half is skippable, the one shown in the video. You go onto those little stair steps directly right of the gate and you’re able to roll onto the bridge at the right angle. The other room on the left half isn’t skippable, but both rooms on the right half are skippable. For the one that’s mainly stone with the stairs, you can roll from a certain part of he stairs onto some blocks to the left of the gate and for the one that’s mainly grass, you can go onto a little stair step similar to the one in the left skippable room, also to the right of the gate, and from there roll onto the pillar way out to the right. From there you can then roll onto the area behind the gate where the puzzle is.
you can skip 3 out of four of the rooms but other than that accurate

@@b4ll00n2 people found a way to skip it, you need a piece of armor that makes you boost further and enter the exit door of the room and then dodge in a very particular angle, just search it up on youtube.

Try to understand what each button does and you'll do it in seconds
From left to right:
1-cycles all your blocks to the left
2-activates two blocks near middle
3-activates three middle blocks
4-cycles all you blocks to the right

What I do to solve puzzles: spam the buttons
Lol i have played that level sooo many times looking for fighters bindings so i usually get the puzzle in under 4 presses
If you are on your computer and have a wired controller, there is actually a way to cheat your way into the obsidian chest room without having to do any of the puzzles at all. I'll explain the steps
1. Go to soggy caves like usual, and go to the room where there are multiple doors
2. Go to the left side of the barrier that blocks you from going into the obsidian chest room and go to the corner
3. Get your cursor out, aim it at the obsidian chest door, and hold left click
4. With your controller, move your left joystick UP.
With this tactic, it gets you into the obsidian chest room very fast, and this tactic gets you an obsidian chest every couple of minutes
Lmao that happened to me
For the artifacts i find that using 2 ghost cloaks and speed boots is best. It helps let you tun through the mobs and take less damage.

For desert temple strat check how many secrets there are if there’s 4 you can get the obsidian chest,hope this helps!

i recommend Soggy Cave highly for starting speedrunning because you can get the fighters bindings and the Evokation Robe variants from the level.

In the pyramid, if you go straight instead of taking the sharp left corner, there is a pig with chest.
In the room of the obscidian chest there is another chest if you activate 3 balists

In the desert temple get the two chests and you can turn on the beacons in the room to get a another gold chest or leave the area and head up until you find a chest pig. Or you can do both and get 3 gold chests and 1 obsidian chest if you can get the layout.
You also get more loot drops if you can takes out a large group of mobs in one shot (excluding the zombies from the spawners). My favorite method right now is using the Harp Bow with Firework, and a triple-cooldown evocation robe for effectively mass spamming the fireworks.

You may have to be on a higher difficulty. Some items won't drop at default or adventure difficulty

On the desert temple run, if you don’t get the obsidian chest, there’s a guaranteed pig with a chest on its back outside, however it can be either closer to you or little bit farther in the level. I also always see either an evoker or enderman next to it, which can also drop some good gear, but remember, this map is not all guaranteed
Th new level released a few days again is really good, the lower temple.

I'd say if you wanna speedrun levels with bosses or in levels where you HAVE to fight lots of mobs I would go with the battle robe/splendid robe with 3 cooldown enchantments. you not only have a lot less cooldown but you get that damage boost with it. And if you wanna speedrun levels without fighting than that's where you can go with evocation/ember robe with 3 cooldown enchantments to become the flash. or you could still rock with battle/splendid robe it works either way.
On desert temple, activate the 3 pillars in that room for another gold chest, then head back to the intersection and continue and get a guaranteed pig chest spawn. Then return to camp

You can use the wind horn to move the enemies away so you don’t get hit I also recommend using armor withe the cool down enchantment

The blacksmith upgrades gear, not sells you random gear, the mystery merchant sells you random gear in a certain category, or just any gear
Honestly I recommend any armor that has cool down enchant on it because that lets you use you artifacts quicker so an evocation robe works too or any armor that has artifact cool down coming with it and the cool down does stack so three artifact cool downs will be faster and better than one
This really helped me find better items so i can beat the nameless one!

When you come across the spawned don’t destroy and let them spawn mobs all around for you to kill and get more xp

Fiery forge has hammers and 2 obsidian chests, both don’t usually spawn but sometimes they do. One has 75% chance, and the other has 50% chance.

They do but one is 75% and other is 50%, also there’s soooooooo many golden chests, and wood chests that give common, or unique loot

Here’s one! play creeper crypt find the lost tome get lots of emralds 3 gold chests finish the level and get another chest I recommend playing on creeper woods only for the day it’s friendly to any difficulty! This is for emeralds mostly but it’s fast loot and fast ancient hunts for recently new players

I found mystery armor with 3 enchantment slots and each one had the artifact cool down so I had 3 artifact cool down enchantments, and even better, the mystery armor HAD -25 percent aritifact cool down
So this will be easy

You really don't even need all 3 cool downs to be honest. I have the ember robe with like 25% cool down plus one cool down enchantment, giving me a total of like 52% cool down. I can infinitely use anything but like the party fireworks and huge cooldowns like that. I can constantly use my boots and constantly have the attack and movement speed from a death cap mushroom
I use that setup with the light feather to keep the enemies perma stunned. Its ridiculously op. If you combine that with a totem of shielding you can solo everything on highest difficulty pretty early on.
The first armour I got was the Ember robe, I've only started playing two days ago but I already finished the game, looks like it's time to complete the dlc's
The song credit part of the description is a bit off. Christopher Larkin's Hollow Knight soundtrack was used for almost all of the video but not mentioned in the credits. The soggy cave one is a great tip, and I would love to run arch haven but my sister and I can't find it for the life of us
Get the robe with double or tripple cooldown enchantments and then you will have infinite boots n cloak plus mushroom is good when you have double radiance with whirlwind on your weapon cause you get health back from it quickly. And with the desert you can hit all 3 beacons and unlock the gold chest in the middle as well.
their is a sweet spot enchantment were if you are lucky you can get a combo cool down with all three enchantments. this results in a instant spam with artifacts, I would advice in replacing the boots with armor amulet, as it would be harder to bypass enemies with added apolculips mode. If you want to see how powerful it can be, check out pixelation fox, he did a firework challenge that use a four enchantment cool down. Fair warning fireworks are a little (alot) flashy.

Another very useful enchantment is luck of the sea, it gives you a higher chance to drop Unique's from chests.
It also can give you uniques at the camp with the non unique merchant (forgot his name since I’m tired as of posting.)

If your quick enough is soggy caves you can clip through the wall that is opened from the puzzles skipping the entire point of the level and getting the chest for free it’s best to ghost cloak mushroom and boot right at the middle of the bridge near the end that lead to the staircase
the ghost cloak actually give you +15% speed depending on the item power, and also it gives the +15% speed for 1 second

The first chest in Arch Haven can be opened if you stand right up against the wall on the left
As far as boss kills the secret levels "mobs" are slow so you can get past them really easily. And run to the last boss fast, fast weapons with radience and death cap shroom enshore it can't stop you, armor with final shout with the soul healing artifact is good also so long as you kill some "mobs" along the way.

On the second gauntlet room you went through (for soggy cave) you can roll from the left side steps onto the left pillar where the gate closes and bypass that specific room altogether.

Another good spot is Soggy Cave. Even doing it legitimately and running by what you can it takes less than ten minutes and has a chance to drop the double axe, gauntlets, sickles, and robes, which are some of the best items to farm for. Plus unlike the others there is no chance involved, as there is always a guaranteed diamond chest at the end. Beyond that, two of the possible layouts you can roll over or around the gate, essentially cutting the time to farm in half if you get good at the skips.

Probably nobody will see this comment but in the last level that’s showed in the video there are 4 possible dungeons which three of them can be skipped with some easy jump and using the feather

2 years late but arch haven has another gold chest in the cave while crossing the bridge sometimes a landmass generates you can roll over and spawn.

Thank you on first try for the starting i got a nightmares bite with swirling and fire aspect but those were the only good enchantments night third one tho upcourse
If you are farming for emeralds go to pumpkin pastures and in the section with the bridge enemies spawn there endlessly so you can camp there with a healing totem and some pets with armor with final shout and you can just sit there while your pets kill them all works best in default difficulty because the amount of emeralds dropped is the same
You can do that in Fiery Forge where the spawners are, as well as in Nether Fortress where the key gates are and also blaze spawners
For i armor I just use something with triple cooldown enchantment for artifacts I use the speed boots and the shadow cloak
And the armor is a hunter armor because i have a ranged build so i can one shot any boss other than moo
What bow you using with your build?
If you use the mushroom the soul harvester and the feather it is sorta op if u know how to use it and with grim armor or a soul robe. It’s pretty insane and with the great hammer with rampage on it and sharpness at least it’s what I got

Soggy Cave is the best farm imo, Fighters Binding and Whirlwind Axe both drop there. Im pretty sure Soggy Cave is also the only place that drops the Fighters Bindings too
Quick tip for desert temple to save time
The supply chest needs to be top left for the orientation to be correct
Bottom right and it'll be reversed and won't spawn

in desert temple you can actually get alot of loot what you do is get the diamond chest and the gold chest and then theres a loot pig ahead and a endermen so you can get some more loot

Just a suggestion try and get speed synergey and double cool down roll on your armour enchants with a ghost cloak and the boots and use a mushroom
For the desert temple, make sure you have at least 3 secrets. To find this you have to hold down your open map

Of you use 2 ghost cloaks and boots of swiftness you can get the Obsidian chest of Desert Temple without needing to even kill anything at all. It can be gotten in under a minute.
Or soul robe, with 2x cooldown. Use boots, cloak and mushroom. You can spam boots and cloak, also the mushroom will be up all the time. This will make you a DPS machine and super quick.
Personally I think creepy crypt is the best place for loot since you get an average of 10 chests with the rare chance of an obsidian chest. Very consistent to get good loot
That's the best place to farm for emeralds but definitely not for uniques
