I don't know why Shirlay was expecting crap talk from Byakua towards Rukia, when he's been nice and treated her like this ever since he and Ichigo fought after they rescued her in the Soul Society Arc... it was nearly 300 episodes ago, lol. The guy with the gun, his shot always hits its target, and anything in-between. The key phrase is "in-between". That's why it didn't hit Ywach. His shot stopped once it hit its target. It's a pretty simple power.
