I work in an office and use a cellular network for my laptop. So for videos like this it's perfect because it keeps data usage low and you're still entertained.
It is a really, really good idea to do so, but I don't think it's 100% necessary. But you should play them. On top of continuing one of the 3 greatest fantasy series of all time, they are also absolute masterpieces of writing for RPGs (and I do NOT just mean "story-telling"/"good story" - it's literally the *story-telling through games" that is done perfectly in those games).
I'm sure others have said this in the comments below, but you can never be too sure: The guy with Geralt is called Vesemir - his mentor and the oldest surviving witcher from the School of the Wolf. He is featured in the first game and in the books, obviously.
Awesome Jesse! So looking forward to the Wolfenstein play through!! And no worries how you look after E3... one, you survived it and two, you're totally adorbs anyways
I've recently started reading the books, I'm on the second one right now. I'm a little sad that I didn't read the books a long time ago so I could be part of the whole "I wonder when they're gonna do this part of the story, or what they're gonna do with this character or that, or how this season or episode is gonna structure around his story/character/event" discussion. I always love those sorts of things, that kind of speculation.
Yes. 1000% yes on the Coldhands part. Was waiting for the big epic reveal for him.And the finale failed to deliver. On some many levels. ALL OF THE LEVELS.
God dangit Jesse! I sit through your entire Game of Thrones discussion muted because I haven't seen it, then I unmute it to hear you saying that the video is over! DX Seriously though, good video I hope to hear you talk more about E3... maybe in Cox n Crendor in the morning..? :D
Yeah my cousin died of brain cancer at 24, my aunt spent a good 15 years getting breast cancer over and over, never sure how long she'd live, and I have just recently found out I have ovarian cancer. I'm not sure there's anyone who hasn't had a loved one affected by it. But I mean, on one hand you have a near gene roddenberry idyllic society where all needs could be freely provided for, or a future that's pretty much the same, only with a 4% rather than a 5% chance of randomly dieing somehow.
Some of it, namely the big announcements, is only open for those with a press pass, but the booths and stores and such is open to anyone who bought just a general pass, if I'm not mistaken.
coldhands can still be there. In the book Jamie arrived in kings landing before "a certain event". He may very well be in slightly different situation later in the series etc..
Wow. That point towards the Payday 2 mask was perfect. And without a cut! Jesse must have practiced the hell out of that before filming. Well done, sir!
I haven't caught up on the most recent Witcher 3 news from e3 but people were pretty sure it was Ciri who was with Geralt. Not sure if it got confirmed yet or not. Ciri is a pretty major player in the lore from the books. Worth looking up on the wiki.
Spoilers for GoT .... I don't know what's everyone big deal with Coldhands. In my mind, he could easily be cut completely from the TV show. He's pretty minor character that doesn't do much. He saves Gilly and Sam with his crows (which they already cut) and take Bran to the greenseer (which can easily be done by just Jojen, Meeran and Hodor). He does have a cool (described) look, I'll give you that.
Dear Lord Jessicus Coxicus III, I am commenting on your latest "Question & Answer" videos to inquire about the lack of Dead Space 3. You and your faithful foxhound Dodger played the demo of the splendid game and appeared to enjoy yourselves a tad. I cannot obtain the game because of financial troubles and would not wish to miss the experience, of which you and Dodger would amplify the hilarity of. I have waited from before the great end of Dead Space 2 and I am greatly anticipating the greatnes
I think one of the biggest things that TB struggled with, is one of the things that made him such a good cynic. Ironically, since his life has been getting better, his videos have changed. I still love him and whether he likes it or not, I'm a fanboy, but I definitely wish he'd return to doing more "let's play" style videos, the way he used to make videos on WoW was great. I don't want him to return to the game, but the style of video. That said - this is probably nostalgia speaking.
Man. Stannis, Davos, Tyrion, Jaime and Barristan and maybe Jon and Connigton might be my favorite characters ever. Just finished reading all the books and goddamn. What a story. Wish more people supported Stannis though.
Dear Jesse, As a long time fan of yours, I was curious about your beard. I have been trying to grow such a beard myself for some time now and it just doesn't want to happen. My question is, how do you grow and by extension maintain such a high quality and stylish beard? Cuz believe me, you make that work!
it was to continue as continuing from greatness "and all the great laughs and the sexy times that shall ensue from such a duo of very entertaining youtubers that I admire. Long live the Great Space Butterfly - An admirer" But then they went ahead and started the series. I like to think i played a role in it, but i probably didn't. Jesse, if you read it, reply to me, Oh Great Lord!
13:54 to skip spoiler Btw thank you for that, here in the uk its only on sky Atlantic and i don't have sky so i wait till the dvd comes out rather then torrent or stream it
The guy Geralt was with was probably Vesemir (basicallyca father figure to Geralt, he raised and trained him), but I'm not sure, I only listened to audio recording.
Jesse, I'm so jealous of your Epic Frame of MTG Cards! Just wondering, but does anyone know what he has within that collection?! :D Also, I loved the coverage you guys put together for TGS - Great commentary and banter courtesy of Dodger, Simon, Holly, and JESSECOX!
Well yes, in the books that worked with the lack of PoV. But the show follows the events chronologically, and that takes place 3 days after the Red Wedding. This is why I think it should have been there.
i also want a 30 minute video on what you think of the ending and what they could have done better. I want it in the week after it is released and you will be graded.
Jesse, I don't know how much you read books, but you MUST read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. His writing is compared to J.R.R Tolkein a LOT, and it's an amazing series so far. Highly recommended!
Re: the game of thrones spoiler stuff, you could have specified that you'd be discussing it from the point of view of having read the book and mentioning stuff that hasn't happened yet. I thought you'd only talk about what had already been shown, not what's coming up. I'm not sure how much you did that of course, I muted the video the second you started talking about what you'd have wanted to see in regards to leading into next season. In other news: I'm as excited for SR4 as you are.
Both my father-in-law and mother-in-law have died relatively young thanks to cancer, my grandmother is currently undergoing chemo and my wife is considered "at-risk" just because of her genetics. I would very much choose a cure for cancer over ending world hunger at this point. I'm selfish like that.
Please do Saint's Row 4 with Crendor xD I've been watching Let's Plays, walkthroughs, and playthroughs, ect, for years. And I have to say that y'alls SR3 playthrough is one of the single best series on the internet.
So recently, while watching the last episodes of Terraria,a few people may or may not have said that you and TB may revive the series(Assuming it was eve rdead)when the new update comes out. If it proves viable, will you guys do some of it? I apologize for being blind and deaf in that regard if i missed somehting during other vidoes!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he might respond to a question posted to him on tumblr about the newest TMNT movie coming out. Would LOVE to hear his thought on it!
Jessse, you are a veteran of the e3 landscape... I've always wondered, why are so many e3 demos behind closed doors? I mean if you're a dev, and you announce a game and maybe show a teeny bit of gameplay as a trailer or whatever to the whole convention, but then you do a private 45 minute demo for a few select people who are not allowed to film it if they are press (cough witcher 3 cough), that makes you seem like you don't care about your fanbase.
I usually do like fantasy, LotR etc... I tried getting into Game of Thrones because the person that plays the little stark girl goes to my school, but even that didn't do it for some reason!
I totally agree that not seeing Cold H***** (trying to be totally spoiler free) was depressing in Game Of Thrones. I was waiting every episode. They even heavily hinted of the presence of said character. Oh well, till next year!
Maybe they'll say it's for one of those flashback/dream/vision thingies of Bran's? Anyhoo, what I'm personally looking forward to in the next season is little time for Dany, I mean, she's an interesting character and all, but I just don't like the savior complex she's developing. Also, more time for Tyrion and Arya, the two characters that actually get stuff done.
Convention swag is a completely different and honored past time it stands for Stuff We All Get - basically free stuff they hand out at conventions predates the modern abuse of the term by quite a long time
Well, that's a bit like saying the earth should never be called small. It is a titanic piece of rock, so large and heavy us humans have difficulty comprehending how big it is, yet compared to the sun it's just a pebble, and compared to the milky way galaxy it's just a speck of dust. And I actually agree with Abraxis' implication. Personal is not the same as important. Cancer and starvation are both terrible ways to die, but starvation kills more people. If saving lives is important, A
If you want to know how it is like go to dan bull (douglby). He made a video from first person perspective with a go-pro. May be of interest for everyone who wasn't there :).
Jesse just sold me The Witcher 3, If I'm still Youtubing when it comes out NO DELAYS will be made to play it! I'll do the stereotypical TH-camr thing of uploading 3 videos the hour its released and stuff. I'll even play it on a console if I have to do accomplish the comedic effect of stereotypical TH-camr.
Speaking of Skyrim, what about the let's play. Why have you taken so long to upload the next episode. If you time could you please continue that. Sincerely you're loyal fan

The evolution of that trophy shelf is just amazing. The swag has evolved! A timelapse would be awesome :P

It's a fantastic series, you can find streaming links all over and watch it from season 1.
Awesome Jesse! So looking forward to the Wolfenstein play through!! And no worries how you look after E3... one, you survived it and two, you're totally adorbs anyways

Dead space&Skyrim are the two series i miss the most!JESSIE plz bring them back!
Yes. 1000% yes on the Coldhands part. Was waiting for the big epic reveal for him.And the finale failed to deliver. On some many levels. ALL OF THE LEVELS.
Jesse you are one of the best youtuber out here and i don't understand why you don't have over 1 million subscriber yet... i don't get it
After watching TB's most recent Content Patch, I needed this to remind me that life is good :D
God dangit Jesse! I sit through your entire Game of Thrones discussion muted because I haven't seen it, then I unmute it to hear you saying that the video is over! DX
Seriously though, good video I hope to hear you talk more about E3... maybe in Cox n Crendor in the morning..? :D
Listen to Cox n' Crendor in the Morning! The best PODCAST!
i would if you guys did more of them

Everyone has dies but it's the amount of time you're alive is what matters.
Spoilers for GoT ....

I don't watch this because he's good at game....I watch this because Jesse is just a good guy and a friend that would be good to game with...
I actually want to hear more stories Jesse, MOAR!!
I think one of the biggest things that TB struggled with, is one of the things that made him such a good cynic. Ironically, since his life has been getting better, his videos have changed. Only if you only watch those scenes, the rest of the series is amazing.
Dear Jesse,
As a long time fan of yours, I was curious about your beard. I have been trying to grow such a beard myself for some time now and it just doesn't want to happen. My question is, how do you grow and by extension maintain such a high quality and stylish beard? Cuz believe me, you make that work!
Jessie's laugh cures cancer, his face while laughing will just about anything else.
I actually muted this. Boyfriend and I just got into GoT and I'm only finished with the first season. Liking it so far, books are on the way.
it was to continue as continuing from greatness "and all the great laughs and the sexy times that shall ensue from such a duo of very entertaining youtubers that I admire.
Long live the Great Space Butterfly
- An admirer"
But then they went ahead and started the series. I like to think i played a role in it, but i probably didn't.
Jesse, if you read it, reply to me, Oh Great Lord!
I started W2, and that game is awesome. Thank you Jesse
13:54 to skip spoiler
Btw thank you for that, here in the uk its only on sky Atlantic and i don't have sky so i wait till the dvd comes out rather then torrent or stream it
PC gaming is still most popular in Poland, and since xbone specs suck, that means true experience will be on PC (probably with x360 controller).
Glad to hear it was better than last years :P
Any kind of subtle merchandise is 100 times more appealing to me than anything with a logo
I literally finished the 3rd GoT book 3 weeks ago and I'm starting the 4th one so I'll definitely be done by the 4th season and I can't wait
Also, I loved the coverage you guys put together for TGS - Great commentary and banter courtesy of Dodger, Simon, Holly, and JESSECOX!
Agreed 100% with Jesse on GoT subject, I was expecting so much more for the last epidose...
Also, your witcher 2 playthrough is what got me hooked on your stuff. Please make on of witcher 3 aswell :)
Ofc he will
Well yes, in the books that worked with the lack of PoV. But the show follows the events chronologically, and that takes place 3 days after the Red Wedding. This is why I think it should have been there.
i also want a 30 minute video on what you think of the ending and what they could have done better. I want it in the week after it is released and you will be graded.
DAMN IT JESSE! Why must you make me so jealous of never being able to go to E3, I wanted to see Witcher 3 so badly.
Jesse, I don't know how much you read books, but you MUST read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. His writing is compared to J.R.R Tolkein a LOT, and it's an amazing series so far. Highly recommended!
You're the Best! And i can't wait for next season of Game of Thrones.
But will you play SR4 with Crendor? We need the return of the knights of victory!
im glad to much fun at E3,Mr. Cox Fox
Both my father-in-law and mother-in-law have died relatively young thanks to cancer, my grandmother is currently undergoing chemo and my wife is considered "at-risk" just because of her genetics. I would very much choose a cure for cancer over ending world hunger at this point. I'm selfish like that.
coming back to watch this after having seen the 3rd season of game of thrones i have been avoiding and dodging spoilers for so long.
he's aware. he's commenting that its awesome that he made his cards into a poster
you probably don't even have to ask them to. they've most likely been planning it since it was announced
Please do Saint's Row 4 with Crendor xD I've been watching Let's Plays, walkthroughs, and playthroughs, ect, for years. And I have to say that y'alls SR3 playthrough is one of the single best series on the internet.
Alternatively, you could torrent it and then buy the dvd once it's out. Since it usually takes a while
So recently, while watching the last episodes of Terraria,a few people may or may not have said that you and TB may revive the series(Assuming it was eve rdead)when the new update comes out.

Thank you sir, for your spoiler finger! Saved me a whole load of heart ache.
If you just want to skip to it, 13:52.
Thanks for putting the mute part at the ending!
yeah, thanks for the spoiler warning I haven't seen any of the 3rd season since I don't get HBO anymore.. gotta wait until next year for the dvd
the opening scene to witcher 2 was one of the best cinematics ever too
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he might respond to a question posted to him on tumblr about the newest TMNT movie coming out. Would LOVE to hear his thought on it!
Tyrion's story... is amazing throughout.
Jessse, you are a veteran of the e3 landscape... I've always wondered, why are so many e3 demos behind closed doors? Jesse, you are a treasure.
I usually do like fantasy, LotR etc... I tried getting into Game of Thrones because the person that plays the little stark girl goes to my school, but even that didn't do it for some reason!
Mr. Cox - GoT spoilercast for next season better be a thing. It will encourage a whole new generation of people to read Mr. Martin's amazing books.
The fact that you're a Stannis supporter makes me love you more.
STANNIS! STANNIS! STANNIS!
He is just an interesting character. In my opinion he is more interesting than Daenerys (but I still love her story because of Ser Jorah)
ya so remember over a month ago when you said "As always, see you tomorrow!" on the podcast. Ya those where good times!
Can't wait to see more of The Witcher 3. Hoping they will release the CGI scene soon.
I just realized you have a poster with Magic: The Gathering cards that's kind of amazing. I was wondering what to do with my old ones.
E3 is over cant wait for E4
The E3 story was pretty awesome.
I totally agree that not seeing Cold H***** (trying to be totally spoiler free) was depressing in Game Of Thrones. I was waiting every episode. They even heavily hinted of the presence of said character. Oh well, till next year!
yeah, but im gonna finish it very quick, I have the OP items from witcher 1
jesse you seem to be a Witcher fan, and your LP of Witcher 2 was pretty cool. thought of doing Witcher 1? Or have you already played it?
Maybe they'll say it's for one of those flashback/dream/vision thingies of Bran's?
Anyhoo, what I'm personally looking forward to in the next season is little time for Dany, I mean, she's an interesting character and all, but I just don't like the savior complex she's developing. Also, more time for Tyrion and Arya, the two characters that actually get stuff done.
Amen to that!. And if you haven't read the books you don't know what you're missing GOT fans.
Convention swag is a completely different and honored past time
it stands for Stuff We All Get - basically free stuff they hand out at conventions
predates the modern abuse of the term by quite a long time
He's a huge lore nerd, remember? You of all people should understand his love of lore, which leads to books or vice versa.
Jesse Cox n' crendor...Why arent you making more?If you have cancelled it please just put my soul at rest with an answer! T.T
Well, that's a bit like saying the earth should never be called small. It is a titanic piece of rock, so large and heavy us humans have difficulty comprehending how big it is, yet compared to the sun it's just a pebble, and compared to the milky way galaxy it's just a speck of dust.

soon
Did you take any cool pics from the con? Im sure we would all love to see them!
I dont know if he rehearsed it but when he pointed out the Payday mask and actually nailed. That impressed me lol
When you leaned it with "it was a joke".... that was the cutest Jesse-face ever.
I hope someone recorded you at these parties, that would be amazing
TB indicated that they will be doing a Starbound series in place of Terraria during the live TGS podcast.
If you want to know how it is like go to dan bull (douglby). He made a video from first person perspective with a go-pro. May be of interest for everyone who wasn't there :).

I dunno, Mirror's Edge, Fallout New Vegas, Amnesia, Penumbra, and the list goes on of game I prefer over it. But to each his own opinion, right?
People who think personal=important.
It's the objectively wrong answer if you want to save people.
I LOVE YOU JESSE!!!!
Speaking of the Witcher, are you ever going to go back and do the other side of the story on Witcher 2?
We NEED a Jesse Witcher 3 letsplay. I NEED it so bad. It would be hilariousness.. Also it will really show Brianne of Tarths strength.
Speaking of Skyrim, what about the let's play. Why have you taken so long to upload the next episode. If you time could you please continue that.
Sincerely you're loyal fan
I'm digging the inverted soul patch, Jesse.
are you kidding i would love to see E3 from that guys perspective :P
Cool, cool. Do we get Cox N' Crendor now?
Dude Jessie Cox I love you bro. Haha I knew what the finger was before you even finished explaining it.
