“The government plans to spend 22.7 billion dollars in the next ten years,” Mr Greenwood said.
“The Treasurer said the spending is to forge a new economy and a new generation of prosperity.

Given Labor's wrecking of AUS industry, this proposal is far too little too late..... anyway, Albanese will be out of office by the time he intends to implement it!

Did they rip up the Lima Agreement and every other document that destroyed Australian businesses, way of life, mass immigration and laws?

ASSEMBLED in Australia. The 1975 Lima Agreement killed off manufacturing in this country by forcing Australian industries offshore to "developing" countries like China & India - both of which are nuclear superpowers.

this is labor we're talking about, it's never going to work, and it is always going to be more than they said along with even more taxes.

All too late. Manufacturing will never return to Australia. The unions, Canberra and the factory owners themselves all played a part in its demise. Australia's constant changes of federal government has now led to the country having a reputation for political instability and that's the death knell of foreign investment

Future made in Australia would work if we stopped the overheads for businesses to operate in Australia. Less red tape less overheads for employers. Businesses will be able to develop and won’t have to move their operations off shore.

Whitlam signed the Lima Protocol in the 70’s which effectively outsourced our manufacturing to the third world such as China and India. We now have these countries nuclear armed with a presence in space and our quality of life degraded as a result. Made in Australia is a ship that has already sailed - especially with these economic vandals focusing on solar panels and renewables. I’d rather see them bringing critical industries like pharmaceuticals and the value chain (ie steel manufacturing) than focusing on an are that we have no hope of competing with China. There’s something fundamentally wrong when workers holding traffic control signs are earning $200k a year.
