What a dope ass intro! Looked like a great trip Greg. Looking forward to seeing you back on the Delta buddy! Would love to see you make a trip down here to my part of the country and catch some dark green monsters. Watch out though it's always sunny down here! 😉😉😉
After watching your Otisco lake Outing, went for the day yesterday, and it was a blast, 2 hour drive out and back was worth it along with an 8 hour day on the water
Great video! I want to go small mouth fishing so bad! I have never been before...Unfortunately I would have a pretty good drive to find any, and they aren't very plentiful in that area either...
Ok. Best Brownie Porn in 2024. Done. Game, match, set. Incredible. I can only imagine what that shoreline will look like in the following weeks!!!!! Thanks for sharing that Greg. Truly awesome fishing and natural beauty.
Maybe a weird question but what pants you wearing? I'm trying to find something that's good for a quick dry and I always wonder what boots/pants you're rockin. Is it a neoprene bib?
28:46 - Epic moment, The smally jumps out of the water and the soft plastic flies in the air, but fish stays hooked. Greg casually catches plastic out of the air (almost) and still lands fish.
WOW 🤩 What an epic trip you had in New York❣️You were smiling the whole time! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Greg! Your videos are such great quality! Better than the stuff my hubby watches on cable imho! Safe travels to you coming back to Cali 🙏🏼❤️
Greg, I've been following your trips back home for a few years. This was by far, your best trip. Glad you had an Epic vacation bro!! Can't wait to try my perch minnows. 😎 🎣 🛶
Now I understand why you 💖 returning to NY for fishing - fantastic catches! PERFECT INDEED! All of that would have made an awesome sack at weigh-in. No one provides drone shots like you, much appreciated! It makes me sad that CA Smallies are so dinky LOL Wonderful video, Greg - I enjoy sharing your adventures with my bass fishing friends. Safe travels 🤗
What a great fishery, I watch the entire finger lake series and was amazed of the abundance and size of healthy brownies! Really enjoyed the videos. Thanks for sharing and a safe trip back to Norcal!
A nice mix of catching the brown ones and the green ones! Greg! I’ve really enjoyed your New York series! Greatly appreciated you taking use your viewers along! Safe travels back to California!
32,673: Number of times in New York Greg said "Giant" 2,381: Number of gorgeous smallmouth caught Pricelss: Getting to see it all without paying for an airline ticket
Got a challenge for all u 80's-90's kids!! How many of y'all have satisfied your craving of buying lures from those commercials that used to play every Saturday mornings? Such as the "Banjo minnow" or that damn helicopter looking weirdo bait?!😅 I bought the banjo minnow kids a few years ago and caught a spotted bay bass here in the harbor. Childhood dream(brainwashed from commercials and that damn banjo!!😂) complete. Now just need to get my hands on that helicopter lure and catch something. So satisfying guys, get your banjo minnow kits and play the banjo tune and try catching some fish, goodluck guys! 😂😉
Wow what a great trip Greg ,I think the reason you had a great time is because you are a great fisherman. 👍 And it showed on this trip you have really worked hard to get where your at. Thanks for taking us along bro. 👌
Top of the morning boys. Bowl 30 and cup of Java. Thank you GB for this NY series, it will go down in finger lakes videos lore! Way to end the week baggin some brownies!! Tight lines fellas.
Hell of video , Greg. Ok. Time to get back to normal cause I don't think I learned anything on this one. It was like watching a pro. 😂 Thank you for documenting your entire trip for us. It was top notch.
Ivealways said this. Being 17 yrs active duty ive lived and fished from north, south east and west. And the north is just different. Ya sure did i catch 7s and 8s in Az yup sure did. Am i gonna catch fish like that in MN more than likely not. BUT the north is the most consitent with those 3.5-5.5 lb fish. Its very easy to go out and catch 20lbs every day because of the avg size.
Hey Greg: 43 to "zip". Based on your video count uploaded in the last 5 months, it looks like you've been kayak bassin' 43 times in 2024 already. Bass season (where I live in Ontario Canada) only just opens TOMORROW. I've got some catchin' up to do. 😂
Booked a trip for Memorial Day weekend 2025 in the Adirondacks for "pike" fishing since bass aren't allowed until June 15 where I'm going. I blame this NY series for the FOMO purchase 😂
SICK INTRO MY DUDE!!! 5 years I’ve been watching GB & the dark horse division, haven’t missed a video… no way was I expecting this intro! Killin it with the cinema Blanch!
Brother Greg Blanchard I love hunting smallmouth bass which I call the [pitbull of bass] in Dayton Ohio. I have been watching you for some years now and I really appreciate this content seriously. Because I love giant pig smallmouth bass, sincerely "The Dayton Metro Smallmouth Slayer" and your fellow competive Angler and lowly servant messenger with a testimony in Christ Jesus [not religion]🙏🙌🗣🕊🔥🦅🐟. P.S. I wish you would have measured and weighed the biggest ones though just food for thought, for future content. Because I think that would have been the cherry on top for that smallmouth bed fishing clinic you put on🙏👊🐟.
Ty Greg for taking us along..awesome day..awesome trip..🤜🤛 Next time I’m counting how many times you say big one..giant…and the ohs and ahs 😂..ty again👍
I mentioned you to a marina / hotel / RV park owner on Lake Marion SC and he told me to tell you he would happily host you and the guys if you wanted to film out there. It’s world class fishing. Stumphole, Potato Creek and The Santee National Wildlife Refuge. I’m sure you know about those areas. Anyway, write back if you want his contact information. He’s definitely attempting to gain attention so he can possibly get to host or sponsor fisherman on the bass masters trail or KBF regional tour.
@@GregBlanchardFishing I’ll send you a reply with all of his contact information and details on his marina tomorrow. He’s a great guy and the area near potato creek on lake Marion SC is unbelievably beautiful. Just look up Santee national wildlife refuge or potato creek lake Marion. Spring or fall it’s incredible.. summer is great too but lots of gators in summer and way humid.
@@GregBlanchardFishing Greg do you have a business email that I can send you some contact info for Jud at lake Marion? I just don’t want spammers to get his cell number etc. Thank you.
Man those finger lakes are something else. I’m only about 5 hours away, ashamed I have t went yet . Gonna cancel my 2025 Canada trip and go there instead
love your channel. been watching since you started. such a good fisherman and it's so great, your respect for the fish. you picked a great time to be i NY. the Delta has been a little tough.
Greg, I’ll be glad to take care of that kayak for you while you are in California. When you return to New York next year, I’ll gladly have it ready to go for you. 😂
Awesome video to end the New York series. The smallies in Seneca and Cayuga are thicker than a lot of the other Finger Lakea because of the gobies that got in there. Same reason the average size smallmouth in Lake Ontario is so much bigger now.
Hey Greg yet another great video, its always a pleasure to watch you work your way to an epic bag of fish. I swear you are the fish whisperer because you always pull it out In the end even if you have a bad start to a tournament you always find the fish. I agree with terrymitchell best kayak bass fishing content period and eventually if some one was smart enough they would put you on Tv.
Greg thank you so much for taking your time in New York to share with us an amazing no no epic adventure on the lake not one day did I not smile and experience state of euphoria like no other! This is a trip of a lifetime and you shared it with us tight lines take care God bless!
Best Kayak fishing show on TH-cam, PERIOD. Keep this up and you will have your own TV show on ESPN. Just my thoughts
Thank your sir. Appreciate the kind words🎣
What a way to cap off the trip! Love seeing those smallies built like tanks!
What an amazing trip!!! You tore em up!!!🎣🎣🎣
What a dope ass intro!

Thanks for bringing us on your trip east.
Whatever dude. We get it. You’re living the dream.
Great New York series! You should be a pro at bed fishing now! Wow!!!
Glad you had a great trip, planning on hitting Cayuga on the yak in the morning! Hopefully you left some bass for the rest of us!
Intro is straight 🔥🔥
Smallie smash! What a great trip bud. Def one to remember. Hard to do better. Cheers!

You need to try and get them delta up there with you sometime that would b one for the books😅😅😅😅😅
Come to Maine!
Greg, what hook do you use for drop shots and wacky rigs? Love your New York videos!!! The small mouth bass were epic!!! Jim
Greg's perspective on what is a "giant pike" is pretty funny
Here in Sweden thats kind of a small pike😊!
This video should just be called, "Aquarium bed fishing in New York" 😂 way too easy.
That is epic fishing if people from the other people think you'r4e fishing the same fish.
Maybe a weird question but what pants you wearing? I'm trying to find something that's good for a quick dry and I always wonder what boots/pants you're rockin. Is it a neoprene bib?
EPIC!
Sooooo....Do you need someone to babysit the kayak when you go back home??...BTW...I like about an hour from where you were. Safe Travels Back Home!!
Do you have upstate Ny roots? Go Bills
Wow you killed it in NY Greg! fantastic fishing the best I have ever seen you do in the big Apple by far. Have a safe flight back to CA.
Respectfully New York City is called the Big Apple, not the state lol
28:46 - Epic moment, The smally jumps out of the water and the soft plastic flies in the air, but fish stays hooked. Greg casually catches plastic out of the air (almost) and still lands fish.
Haha so wish I caught the bait

The success rate of that perch drop shot bait on bed fish has been crazy all trip.
They were on that bait!

That last biggon you paused and I could hear you thinking... why am I going back to the Delta to force feed a senko to dinks? lol jk
Hahaha maybe some truth to that
@@GregBlanchardFishing can’t blame you dude, it be a struggle out here sometimes

Pretty epic
I think you made yourself a good choice on which area to fish.
What size hook you using with that Drop Perch?
I might be tempted to move back home w the parents for fish like that.
Having the time of your life. Enjoy.😊
That bait is like cheating! Amazing smallies!
Felt like it haha
What are you using for steering handle upgrade?
Thanks. That got me excited for this weekend
You should try and use that drop shot perch bait at clear lake
I grew up right there as well! Nothing beats those waters!
Safe travels back to California!😀
Ima go back and re watch the NY series.
Great video Greg, what a day!!!!! What a trip!!!
