I remember playing this in a cheap little nickel arcade in my hometown maybe 15 or so years ago. It was so fun at the time but extremely difficult for my child mind to grasp. I’ll never forget when the arcade machine broke down and the game was basically lost forever as a result. Glad i finally came across it again

I really love Gohan's stage it reminds of Primal Rage and I think the dinosaur Sprites looks like they were Primal Rage and not in this game

I can't believe this, but I've actually played this on an arcade machine before. Some hotel I was overnight at a decade ago, don't remember which, but in Iowa, actually had this kicking around. What the hell was this Japan-exclusive machine doing there and how much did they pay for it?
It was released here in Spain too, this was actually a well known arcade machine, albeit I hated it because I couldn't for the life of me win a single match. It was ruthless. It was frustrating because DBZ at the time (1995) it was HUGE.
I'm like, 90% sure I played this at a Nickle-Nickle arcade in California when I was a kid. I remember it looking better but it was like 20 years ago so it probably didn't.
I think the arcade board has an option for English, so maybe there was a very limited western release

This is the best classic DBZ fighter, the animations are beautiful, only surpassed by modern graphics games like Burst Limit and FighterZ.
The stages of this game are awesome! Please make a video of the first game too

I think this is the one and only DB game to use that kind of effect, even.
The best caracter was cell. In spain, in a few places the arcade allows you to choose difficult level, i was able to finish the game in easy mode.

I remember this one, found it in 1999 at an arcade which had the Jurassic Park Lost World machine but never tried it, just watched the demo.
