As someone battling depression and anxiety, Nightbirde's quote 'you can't wait til life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy' hit me, it inspired me to work on my mental health. Nightbirde was super optimistic and therefore she beat her cancer in the way that she didn't let it stop her from holding out hope even when she only had a 2% chance. Her spirit lives on throughout the globe as a true nightbirde 🌃🐦

I watched that episode when Nighbird sang it I was emotional then and I'm emotional now and proud to be South African These kids have amazing voices and Nightbird was amazing She looked poorly and frail but stood there with a lovely smile and changed so many lives Thank you

Wow! I feel the goosebumps each time I listen to this. Great tribute to Nightbirde. I'm nightbirding right now, irrespective of the circumstances I'm facing now. AGT should endeavour to make "nightbirde" a verb meaning endurance, positivism and optimism.
Jane was a beautiful, inspiring woman. It's sad that she suffered so much, but I hope she is at peace now.
