Steady and (unsurprisingly) Always Running out of the seven vocal tracks are by far my favorites, but Steady takes the top spot. It’s self resonance sticks with you the entire time, the instrumental acknowledging the vocal melody and playing extremely well on every part. The entire vibe of the song is so playful and feels as if it’s watching the best memories of your life on repeat. The vocalists just carry that even further with how awestruck it makes the listener feel. Absolutely astonishing and I just love it

As long as I've been a fan of MR, and as much as I've listened to the openings time and time again, I never really bothered with the ending songs, just not thinking they were quite as good as their opening counterparts. I have never been so glad to be wrong. This is a masterpiece in every sense of the word, genuinely one of the most beautiful songs I've heard, no different from any other song you made for this incredible show. So glad I finally gave this song a chance. Incredible work from both you and Matt, who's vocals are just as amazing as they were in Always Running.

God. I started watchin meta runner and now im here hearing this. I love how the series are Vaporwave/Synthwave style. Its my favourite style. I cant explain how i feel when i hear this and think in silica city. its like tokyo but better. I just can say that if you use headphones you will be in sky for the entire song. It feels amazing.

Pardon the essay this comment is about to become but this song is very personal to me. Lines like "I've awakened every time" and "I live my life to see you." And just the whole prechorus speaks to me-

I'm rather introverted and I zone out a lot. I was diagnosed with ADD and I share a lot of habits with maladaptive daydreamers so I'm in my head a lot. I don't speak up for what I believe in or how I feel a lot.

This ties into the daydreaming habits. I always retreat to my mind to feel better imagining different stories based on my experiences but turned out better. But I don't want to go back to sleep.. I'll be talking about things about this song, and some spoilers of the show. Something like a MatPat "Music Theory"
Anyway, starting off, the song has heavily refferred to "lying in my bed", and quoting, "Never want to lose the dreams". It could be possible that some events of MR could be part of a dream. Not solid on that theory. It could be branching out from the show, and have it's own meaning, possibly about Lucid Dreaming, or something similar.
It also refers to steady eyes and silhouette. Could be a person referring to enjoying the presence of someone, or something. But very loose on that theory.
One more theory I have, is that one dreams of living in the world of Meta Runner. But idk. I'm not MatPat
