Hello, Harsha sir's post production team. Don't process the audio too much, it sounds synthetic. Let there be noise but don't hamper the most important feature of Harsha Sir's work, i.e. his voice
Well pointed out: usually, in small budget productions like these, sound department takes the biggest hit, with someone who's not an expert doing the job. Saying this as a sound engineer who's been working since 21 years
You didnt had problem when we won 1st match and now suddenly questions Virat's runs are more than smith and khawaja combined but obviously indian fans are obsessed with australia and loves meatriding them
One small thing Harsha, our batsmen need to spend time in the middle. We could get 260-350 in the first innings but we need to make sure we faced atleast 100 overs, that way we tire the Aussie bowlers...
Plus he appreciates when opposite team does well. Other Indian commentators always talks as if only India results matter and as Indian we are to win always. Other players in opposite team too have been challenged and they rose through sheer grit and are playing in their national team.
I don’t have words to appreciate Harsha for your wonderful analyse. As you said rightly India has to score more runs in their first innings to put pressure on the opposition. As rightly pointed out Aus front line batsmen struggle like anything. Batsman like Head can be accounted any time with sharp and alert fielding. I am surprised why you left out the poor wicket keeping by Panth. A very good keeper with ability to score some runs, is very much needed than scoring 50 plus runs than dropping or missing chances behind the stumps. Hope you would agree with my point.
Agree. Harsha just sings bhajan of VK, Rohit all the time even if they fail continuously. For sometime VK has been failing when the ball is new and that VK's century came off very old ball and was so pointless in terms of match dynamics, may be helped him to get confidence. Half of the deliveries which VK faced were of Head, Lyon, Marnus. Without KL's mentoring, even Jaiswal could not have scored that century.
@@HariShankarr94 Lol. Do you watch different channel? KL batted well in 3 innings while rest peed in their pants while facing Boland, Hazlewood. At Perth, in the first innings he got for wrong decision and at Adelaide, he himself is to blame for trying to score boundaries against Starc. Otherwise KL would have had 3 fifties or 2 fifties+1century by now.
We also need to introduce more lefties, if Hazlewood is back Aus have 5 lefties. We cant play 5 lefties but we can play 4 lefties by dropping Varapao or Nitish. But this management shouldnt drop Nitish, he hasnt done much wrong. If we replace Sundar with Ashwin, we have only 3 lefties, we will lose badly. Rohit needs to go and Jadeja needs to play, but Brisbane will end in a draw and Rohit wont leave lol.
@@PrasannaRAdv i was just watching BGT 2018 highlights, man what a delight it was to see Pujara getting those runs. He might have gotten them slow but he made the Oz bowlers mad and exhausted.
3rd Test | BGT | India v. Australia Given this match is critical on deciding which way the series would turn, here are a few thoughts on what India can do to turn their fortunes around: - Replace Rana with Akash Deep. - Promote Pant & Reddy up the order. They seems to be on form. Give them time up front so that they throw bowlers off their rhythm. - Bring Rohit back to opening & KL to the middle order. KL is very good at managing a crisis, rather than setting tone, Rohit the other way around. - Virat should take leadership of the innings, play a Pujara like role and allow all the stroke makers to play around - Gill, Pant & Reddy.
This infuriates me no end. And even if we consider the t20 wc for the sake of argument, kohli had scored 5 runs from 4 matches prior to the semi final which goes to show his abysmal consistency.
You mentioned that Brisbane has pace and bounce, which will make it difficult for Australian batters. However, who is really struggling against short-pitched deliveries, Harsha? Pat Cummins took numerous wickets with short-pitched balls in the Adelaide Test, highlighting a traditional weakness of the Indian players. Why hasn't the team taken any steps to address this long-standing issue?
@@deepakjena3628 Indian batters are incompetent, can't play spin nor pace... Australia will win this series 4-1 and that too very very easily... I can vouch for it...
The more concerning thing is our bowlers are not delivering those surprise bouncers what Cummins was doing in Adelaide. I can understand from boom that he can't bowl too much of bouncers but our other 2 bowlers need to step up rana hasn't been that great since the Perth test not disciplined enought to bowl at the same length for 4-5 overs. We need akashdeep he can bowl brilliantly with new ball with bumrah
What India needs in their test batting is a WALL.. since Dravid and Rahane, I doubt any other batsmen have shown the kind of patience and tenacity to wear the opposition bowling down.. The new strategy seems to be to just attack come what may.. Gabba will be a good test to show who can play that patient game.. else I can see it being another 3 day test match..
Hi Sir, do you think if some batsman is having a purple patch like Reddy, should India consider sending him above Rohit Sharma so that he can bat longer and doesn't have to play all risky shots. If he bats around Kohli and Rohit he might have rub off effect on them too to get back in form. Please let mw know if I am thinking correct.
Thanks for the great analysis! Both teams have batting vulnerabilities and extremely strong bowling lineups. I’d say India probably have a more rounded batting order, though Kohli and Rohit in particular are struggling and Gill, while he looks good often, can’t seem to go big. Top order relies heavily on Jaiswal going big. Pant/Reddy and Head/Marsh performances may decide the series as they are proven match winners down the order. Australia have a better all round bowling attack with four world-class bowlers as opposed to two for India (Bumrah, Ashwin/Jadeja). Siraj is good, but a cut below Bumrah, Cummins et al. Aus batting looks vulnerable too. A lot will depend on whether the top order can face enough balls to allow their middle order bats to come in and take the game on. How many overs can they make Bumrah bowl is a key question.
Couple of things which I liked is he said after Jaiswal the next best batter is Rishab Pant and talks about Gill. So, the rest 2 are just playing for their name sake. Bumrah is the best player (not only bowler) by a distance shows the burden of ROKO on this team
Even likes of Harsha ignore one of the three main reasons of Perth Test win. i.e KL Rahul building good partnership, blunting out ball in both first innings and the second innings which helped to get better edge off Aussies and rest to score well. Remember without KL's mentoring, even Jaiswal could not have scored that century. Always finds some pointless reason to sing bhajan of VK even if the century is a pointless or came off against very old ball with Head, Lyon, Marnus etc bowling half of the deliveries VK faced.
Batting has been a problem for a while. I actually think that Gill looked in terrific touch in both inns, but squandered starts. KL Rahul had just in his groove after some early luck in the first inns, and squandered his start. Reddy has looked impressive with the bat. Jaiswal looked good in the 2nd inns before squandering his start. Pant is getting starts constantly without converting. Even Ashwin looked good in the first inns for his 22. The only two batsmen who looked completely out of touch in Adelaide were the two senior pros. Kohli's hundred, while solid, doesn't take away from the worrying manner in which he keeps getting out. Rohit looked completely out of sorts, undercooked and out of place. They need to get some runs, and the batsmen getting starts need to make them count. The bowling is doing ok. Rana got a little found out in Adelaide, but he's young and raw so its hard to be too harsh. Ashwin bowled well, Siraj came back well, and Bumrah is world class. The dodgy issue is also with Reddy. On one hand, he's more than doing the job with the bat so far. On the other hand, he's not quite there yet as a bowler. I feel a Jadeja would make the batting feel more secure, and I think he would do a similar holding job with the ball.
Harsha sir, I still feel there is no change in Australia batting. Except Travis Head nobody is in form. No doubt, India's batting is a big concern especially in 1st Innings. Have to see how India rotates the bowlers. Rohit's fitness and captaincy are a big concern.
100% agree that if India win in Brisbane they regain BGT. They should bowl Bumrah into the ground to ensure they win & not care if he’s fit for MCG/SCG. It’s now a 3 test series, keeping in mind that Sydney is always a 50% chance of a drawn washout.
We should have batting part time bowlers like Tendulkar ,Sewagh .... that can ease up things.... 1.Rahul - Batting and only Batting 2.Jaswal - Batting and Bowling 3.Gill - Batting and Bowling 4. Kohli - Batting and Bowling 5. Reddy - Batting and Bowling 6. Jurel - Batting and Batting 7.Pant - Just Bat long 8.Sarfraz -Batting (Rohit has to be rested) 9. Akash Deep - Bowling 10. Siraj - Bowling 11. Bumrah - Bowling
We wont win until and unless the difference between leftie batsmen in the team(including bowlers) is negligible. If we keep the gap as 2 or 3, then its done and dusted. Hear me out, 2 changes is what India should make lol, Jadeja for Rohit and Ashwin for Sundar. Instead they will perhaps play Akashdeep for Harshit (overhyped by kangladesh) and they’ll prolly play Sundar/Jaddu for Ashwin. 3;5 ratio wont give us promising results at all.
So well said! We need 1st innings runs. Hopefully they make just one change in gabba- akashdeep in place of rana. A fast bowler who can’t exploit these conditions (perth was too skewed that even ordinary fast bowlers can shine), should cede place to another. Hope they don’t make the mistake of not playing ashwin. 536 wickets against the best with a good history down under and super economical in Adelaide …why is he even under the scanner 🙄
Harsha, more than fans, you guys always come to the conclusion so quickly! Fans know that Aussies will beat India in Adelaide. Series just opened up. Real tough players will stand up n deliver. Watch for Smith! 3-2 India
I don't really understand where the narrative about Australia not being as good in Melbourne or Sydney as we are in Perth and Adelaide has come from. Haven't lost a test in Sydney in forever, and the only reason there have been so many draws is because of the weather
Good analysis, Harsha Bhai. I believe Jadeja should come back in place of Ashwin because he is a left armer and bowls with more flight than Ashwin. He is also a more explosive batsman (not necessarily better than Ashwin) which I think would be much more handy for India.
Also, since Nitish Kumar Reddy has looked in exquisite touch, I think he should move up the order and protect Kohli/Sharma. After all, when batting at 7, there isn't much he can do. I also think Shami needs to come back as soon as possible. As Harsha Bhai said, when Bumrah is off, Rana and Siraj have been WAYYY too expensive. Here's my preferred XI for India in the 3rd test at the Gabba: 1. KL Rahul (looked solid in Perth, shaky in Adelaide but still did well) 2. Yashasvi Jaiswal (excellent young talent, clearly has great potential) 3. Shubman Gill (again, very elegant and has looked the best of all the Indians, just needs to score more runs) 4. Nitish Kumar Reddy (has looked good, could protect Kohli and Sharma at 4 while also increasing the scoring rate) 5. Virat Kohli (has struggled and needs to fix his outside off-stump weakness) 6. Rohit Sharma (struggled, needs to be more aggressive) 7. Rishabh Pant (excellent gifted batsman, ideally would have him at 5 or 6) 8. Ravindra Jadeja (attacking batsman, good left-arm bowler with a bit of flight) 9. Jasprit Bumrah (no comments needed) 10. Mohammed Shami (needs to bowl to fix India's problem of not attacking the stumps) 11. Mohammed Siraj (with Shami's presence Siraj should bowl a lot better)
Why our domestic cricket is not able to produce even a single quality batsman after retirement of Dravid having avg above 50. Not even Virat is having avg of 50. There is complete faiture of BCCI structure.
Akashdeep looked ready months ago to be the #3 bowler permanently. Plus he’s a dangerous lower order batter. Surely the management can’t repeat the same mistake again?
India has to select 4 fast blowers for Gabba to reduce work load on Bhumbra. Just adding spinner to load lower middle order batting has no use . If top 5 can’t score lower 2 does matter . We need to guard Bhumra rather than feed batter with more players.
India should consider a few points: 1. As Harsha mentioned, Shubman Gill needs to convert his starts into big scores like 50s or 100s. 2. Nithish Reddy should bat higher up the order or be given more time at the crease. He gets settled but often falls to aggressive shots due to lack of support from the other end. Pairing him with a set batsman like Gill might help him score big, possibly a hundred. 3. Pay attention to Travis Head-he thrives on poor line and length. Look at past footage where bowling on the 6-meter mark, middle/off stump line with away swing troubled him, often clipping his off bail.
Our management of the first test containing 4 lefties and Australia had 5 lefties Our management of the second test then made it 2 lefties and 4 lefties as Australia. We have to be somewhat difference and get the gap to 1. Too many righties in a string and they keep going down like 9 pins.
Please don't consider Perth 2nd innings to calculate the averages of Kohli, KL, Jaiswal, etc. as it will be misleading . The Perth grass carpet turned pale yellow overnight which was so strange with these drop in pitches. Also, India are given the 1st test to avoid the 8-0 whitewash which was looming after NZ home series.
Hi Sir Left and Right Combination is best solution to counter the Aussies fast bowling Attack too many Right handers is easy for Aussies bowlers to take wickets and tumble India easily
Bumrah should Bowl to Rohit in the nets & injure him for the rest of the series and he should take over the captaincy, In overseas conditions Captian has to perform well & lead from the front
Brother, You have no idea how much I Love Rohit in White ball cricket, but let's be honest Rohit's captaincy is one of the main reasons India's whitewash against weak NZ, 4 Losses in a row, the sad thing is we are not even giving any fight in those 4 matches we are outplayed by our opponents All hail Rohit's Lazy clueless defensive captaincy his Chaltha hai attitude is the biggest disadvantage for our team & his Average is 12 in the last 12 innings look at the way his dismissals
Harsha it would be good if you share your thoughts about the selectors making a blunder by choosing the squad for the Australian series even before the series against NZ was over, and before the Ind A vs Aus A matches commenced, I say this because by doing so they have selectors players like Abhimanu Eswaran, Sarafaraz Khan etc who are being just travelers with the team, while the team management is showing no faith in them, where as players like Sai Sudharshan, Mukesh Kumar, Padikkal who did well against India A miss out the opportunity of being in the Indian XI. If you see players like Nitesh, Padikkal who did well against Aus A have carried their good form into the BGT series. I am sure Mukesh Kumar could have been very handy at Adelaide, and either Padikkal or Sudharshan could be a good opening batsmen in the making.
Australia is as vulnerable as India. It's all about who plays the poor and who capitalises on it. I still feel that if Smith, Mith Marsh and Khwaza would have been in better form, Aus was having a huge edge. At the moment, I will see them even stevens.
Rightly Harsha pointed out the missing of catch by Siraj in Bowling of Ash when Travis had made half of what he made in the end of his innings.Wickets matter when adequate runs are not on board from your side.Equally keeping one end tight as Ash did was important.Marsh made amends for not leaving when he was allowed to survive a little earlier against same Ash bowling. So do not change composition at the drop of hat.Team comraderie is equally important and the cohesion can happen in an unchanged set up with one supporting the other so that the team wins.
Harsha and Sunny are biased commentators to the core sick and tired of them like we are sick and tired of ROKO. Whenever King Kong comes to bat both these idiots will start boasting he has done all hard work played 1000 balls in net and for him he can see cricket ball like football 🏈. To their delight he will hit a cover drive and immediately they start what a shot only legend like him can play those type of shots. Sure shot another 100 for sure that’s will be their commentary and within next 15 balls he will be back to pavilion and start scrolling watsup message from anushka
If India have to win the series, it's important that India score big 1st innings runs. If India has to score big 1st innings runs, send Rohit and Kohli back home, they just dont have it in them to play at Test level anymore for India. They get into the T20/IPL mode and that is not wat works in Tests...In tests they need to have the temperament of leaving the balls that are away and not going to hit the stumps...they need to have to the mentality of Sachin Tendulkar of Sydney test of 2004. So many times in the last some of the tests, Kohli has nicked the ball to slips and it looked like he isn't sure whether to play or leave it. Rohit's legs dont move at all and in tests you need footwork....Not just Kohli & Rohit but many others like Rahul, Shubhman, Jaiswal, Pant play the Tests with a T20 mindset...and hence we dont see big scores like 200s,300s from any of these batsman now a days...becoz wat they lack is patience....something that is very imp in tests....India need to get players in tests, who grind at domestic levels, and have the mentality to play tests and keep patience, not players, who want to only play T20 glamour shots in tests....bcoz when they succeed it looks gr8, but more often when they fail, they look far more pathetic...
Morkel talked a lot about Nitish bowling before series but dont see that till now. Nitish the batter has arrived, waiting for the bowler. Replacing Rana with Akashdeep wouldnt hurt and Akash can bat a bit as well
Truth be told, the onus is really on the bowlers to do the job for us yet again. And thus, India need to go in with 4 fast bowlers and a spinner too. And for that to happen it has to be either Reddy or Rohit in the playing eleven. Let’s strengthen the bowling even more because the batters will somehow get to 200 or 250 at best.
Playing a batter short wont get us to 200. If Ashwin plays, he has a bigger role in the upcoming game. Dont think they would make any changes though. It was the pink ball and the D/N test, clearly India was the less experienced side. They should not panic and still stick to their best plans.
@ playing an extra batter would not guarantee either. So at least strengthen the bowling so that Siraj and Bumrah’s first spell, you have a quality bowling attack to back them unless you want Bumrah to bowl 25 overs in the day.
@@asb-e6s well there is no guarantee for anything in cricket, but if we further weaken the batting then the first innings scores that we are getting now, even those wont be possible. Don't think Ashwin is a no. 7 batsman for India.
Having been a big fan of Virat since 2013 hence knowing his every single strength and weakness(there is only one major weakness of outside off stump which everyone knows), the only way he can get a 50+ score in either of the two innings in Brisbane is if he does not go for a single cover drive and not even a defensive shot outside off stump and only puts bat on ball if the line of ball is very close to his body but we all know that it is only a matter of time before he goes after one proper good length ball to play a booming cover drive.
Australia 🇦🇺 🔥💯🗿showing level....smoked India team in style! 💯🔥strong comeback! 🦘🔥kangaroos are known for their best comeback 🏆no matter what place venue it is..
If you look at Gills score .he ha 3 centuries and 2 90s in the last 10 teats or so in very challenging conditions...its a wrong idea that he is not converting...its true though that he loosl great and then suddenly gets out..but thats part and parcel of the game
Indias batting might be slightly out of form but Never count out Kohli to find for, pant seems to play a blinder when it matters but their real struggle is Rohit Sharma, if we keep pointing fingers at smith what bout Sharma, he has been very poor of late, he gets away in one day due to the field restrictions and conditions but he seems to be really out of form. Can travis head do it again, Khawaja, labochange, SMith adn Marsh need to find form. And this could be the end of Steve Smith people were comparing him to bradman, Sachin, dravid, ponting, Graeme smith, Mike Hussey were all averaging above 58 in test until that thing hits them, your hands are not fast as they used to be and the hand eye coordination slowly starts to fade. Smiths has now got to find another way to score, maybe Bumra and Siraj have his number. Too much responsibility on Travis Head
Harsha sir, yes bumrah is a very priced possession at the moment but making sure the batters play long enough just so bumrah gets rest is a very weird way to put it although i understand your point, he's great but please don't speak as if the remaining 10 are there for a holiday regardless of the performance
It doesn't matter now ,either India play good or bad they can't make it to the wtc final,so after this series it doesn't matter what's the result ,Indian selectors have to throw out overhyped garbage big names out of the team especially chokli and wadapaw
Harsha Bhogale, well spoken re the need to score strong in the 1st inning. Rohit Sharma needs to lead out, with Rahul at 1-down, Shubman at 2-down and Virat at 3-down. If either Rohit or Yashashvi should get out soon, that makes Rahul virtually open in any case and Virat virtually at 2-down. Virat's great when the pressure is on him and when he is in catch-up mode, but not to lead out of the gate. -- Comments from another Chemical Engineer!
Prasidh Krishna can be a good selection for Gabba, he can use the bounce well, and bowl some short pitch stuff, he bowled well in the India A vs Aus A matches
For some reason, most Indian batsmen are not taking a test match approach, they are too rushed and it shows in their shot selection !!! Think about how long the innings were of Pujara, Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Laxman etc, they used to bat all day !
1st Test- Perth ( seaming bouncy wicket) 2nd - Pink ball 3rd- Gabba ( 2nd fastest wicket in Aus) The order of grounds shows how badly Australia want to win this series this time around... Come on Team India, let's show them how good we are !!!
Why is everyone saying oh we have to preserve bumrah its a 5 match series... nobosy is talking that about any other player like cummins and starc these are the oppositions top bolwers we need to make this image bumrah will play all 5 matches and all with 100% that pr in media will create some noise and tension in australian dressing room
Hi I want to know the time spent by batsman who are coming at No: 5 and No :6. Because we see Rahul kl and Rohit are unable to play in lower the order and while playing at opening we have seen them succeeding few times. Is waiting in dug out changing their mind set or else something please explain
Really what I think is we as a nation should play to win as a team and not be overboard with individuals records as to who has achieved what, I think that's where we are failing in both men's and women's cricket, and commentators should be like a judge and be pretty unbiased, I think indian commentators whoever it may be are highly biased and try to hide the faults. Also think Kohli, Sharma, Ashwin and Jadeja are past their prime, records for last 5 years suggest that, time has come for change not sure why selectors are late in realizing that, what Kohli has done in last 5 years of test cricket, if it were any other cricketer would have been sacked few years ago, time to move forward I suppose, while I would like India to win in Gabba, think the pitch and Aussie bowlers will be too much for out of form India batters
Harsha sir , Please focus on the issue with India batsman being lethargic . New Zealand loss at home was because we want all the batter in India to play all 3 formats . Why do we need it . Can BCCI not pay test specialist batsman more than any one playing all 3 format ?? There was a time in MS DHONI career when he knew when to get out of ODI and test . Kohli and rohit both are lacking . Retiring from T20 at 37 and available for odi and test is pathetic . We made PUJARA and RAHANE , specialist test batsman to move out and we are carrying both this burden . Next we will see both retire at same time like T20 and they will create vacuum . Please share ur thoughts
Hello Harsha, if we don't bat well, does Australia bat better?, minus Travis Head. Plan to bounce him out before he crosses 20.This being his --ve point.
Everyone is saying India should score more to win. If true how did they win the Perth game by scoring a pathetic 150 runs? If you argue that their bowling clicked in Perth to restrict Australia to a lower score, why could they not repeat it in Adelaide. If they scored high in the second innings at Perth, why were they bowled out for 175 in the second innings at Adelaide? Australians are definitely a better overall team and WILL win the series.
What should India do see off the new ball and ensure that they play at least 100 overs in the 1st Innings? I feel we need someone who can hold the innings and take/rotate strike and frustrate the bowlers. Bazball is one thing but we should also have batters who can dug in, play traditional test, respect bowlers when they have to and look to rotate strike. By the time Day 3, 4, 5 comes in, the pitch always have a say and we need to have cution to play out those days.

Come off of it. This
"Going out on top" is bullshit.
3rd Test | BGT | India v. Australia
Given this match is critical on deciding which way the series would turn, here are a few thoughts on what India can do to turn their fortunes around:
- Replace Rana with Akash Deep.
Questions raised- Rohit and Kohli are averaging under 10 in test, what the hell?
Their fans🤡- sarr but T20 final sarr but T20 semifinal sarr
This infuriates me no end. And even if we consider the t20 wc for the sake of argument, kohli had scored 5 runs from 4 matches prior to the semi final which goes to show his abysmal consistency.
Ppl forget about axar
We were lucky to win that final. Kohli did his level best to ensure we lose.

Bcz current Indian batters are not good enough as simple as that...
We'll see after match dont change your comment
What a silly comment. Have you played cricket in Australia??
Top notch analysis as usual, what Sachin is to Cricket is what Harsha is to Cricket analysis and great commentary.... Interesting content always....
please don't insult Sachin this way.
Your analysis based on data is very good. I really love number crunching
1.Rahul - Batting and only Batting
2.Jaswal - Batting and Bowling
3.Gill - Batting and Bowling
4. Kohli - Batting and Bowling
5. Reddy - Batting and Bowling
6. Jurel - Batting and Batting
7.Pant - Just Bat long
8.Sarfraz -Batting (Rohit has to be rested)
9. Akash Deep - Bowling
10. Siraj - Bowling
11. Bumrah - Bowling
Two games, both teams have questions to answer. Going to be an interesting series with two flawed teams.
Team india has just got too many questions
Sir you putting efforts on your youtube uncut versions is the biggest thing for a Gharelu cricket player like me
Harsha, more than fans, you guys always come to the conclusion so quickly! Fans know that Aussies will beat India in Adelaide.
Series just opened up. Real tough players will stand up n deliver.
Watch for Smith!
3-2 India
Hello Harsha Sir,
Why don't our bowlers try Yorkers to Head? He seems.pretty vulnerable to Yorkers.. even Starc got him with Yorkers..
Panicking after getting a thrashing is understandable but losing heart is not acceptable. We will bounce back and win this series.
😂
We are neglecting the impact of Steve Smith. If he comes back into form, India can say goodbye to the BGT and WTC final dreams.
Here's my preferred XI for India in the 3rd test at the Gabba:
1. KL Rahul (looked solid in Perth, shaky in Adelaide but still did well)
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal (excellent young talent, clearly has great potential)
3. Shubman Gill (again, very elegant and has looked the best of all the Indians, just needs to score more runs)
4. Nitish Kumar Reddy (has looked good, could protect Kohli and Sharma at 4 while also increasing the scoring rate)
5. Virat Kohli (has struggled and needs to fix his outside off-stump weakness)
6. Rohit Sharma (struggled, needs to be more aggressive)
7. Rishabh Pant (excellent gifted batsman, ideally would have him at 5 or 6)
8. Ravindra Jadeja (attacking batsman, good left-arm bowler with a bit of flight)
9. Jasprit Bumrah (no comments needed)
10. Mohammed Shami (needs to bowl to fix India's problem of not attacking the stumps)
India should consider a few points:
Our management of the first test containing 4 lefties and Australia had 5 lefties
Our management of the second test then made it 2 lefties and 4 lefties as Australia.
Great analysis, as always!
Hi Sir Left and Right Combination is best solution to counter the Aussies fast bowling Attack too many Right handers is easy for Aussies bowlers to take wickets and tumble India easily
Y Jaiswal
R Sharma
Kl Rahul
V Kohli
R Pant
R Jadeja
N Reddy
W Sundar
A Deep
J Bumrah
M Siraj
Akashdeep should come in for Rana, no doubt about that. We are missing Kuldeep and Shami !!❤
This pink match result was pretty much as expected, so India shouldn't panic and change their batting order too much!
Bumrah should Bowl to Rohit in the nets & injure him for the rest of the series and he should take over the captaincy, In overseas conditions Captian has to perform well & lead from the front
Go and do captaincy 😂
Brother, You have no idea how much I Love Rohit in White ball cricket, but let's be honest Rohit's captaincy is one of the main reasons India's whitewash against weak NZ, 4 Losses in a row, the sad thing is we are not even giving any fight in those 4 matches we are outplayed by our opponents
All hail Rohit's Lazy clueless defensive captaincy his Chaltha hai attitude is the biggest disadvantage for our team & his Average is 12 in the last 12 innings look at the way his dismissals

Akashdeep needs to be in the team.
He is not bowling good in the nets rn and didn't bowled in the practice match.
@@ArjunKumar-qj2woBut he bowled well without nets❤. Maybe time to bowl him without nets(IN ACTUAL MATCH 🤦)
Simple India should get 300 or 350 if possible in the first innings. Then they will have a very good chance to win
For india to win 300- 350runs in first innings. We have enough bowlers who can take wickets
Harsha is much of every Indian’s voice.
Morkel talked a lot about Nitish bowling before series but dont see that till now. Nitish the batter has arrived, waiting for the bowler. Replacing Rana with Akashdeep wouldnt hurt and Akash can bat a bit as well
Australia have increased their chances to win the series.
Looking India's batting for last 5 tests only miracle can allow India to wim the series
So much of hype for Rishabh Pant
Not every test is a Gabba test 2021
Also Rohit is not a test match player

If you look at Gills score
.he ha 3 centuries and 2 90s in the last 10 teats or so in very challenging conditions...its a wrong idea that he is not converting...its true though that he loosl great and then suddenly gets out..but thats part and parcel of the game
Good analysis :)
Aussies is different ways so my opinion is clearly Aussie win this BGT series
In our side ..we are depending upon one or two player..in test format.Either Virat or bumrah.we need anchor players
Run scoring has been the issue for India since NZ series in India...They need to break the shackles, it will be big challenge though!
Since before then.. Ashwin and Jadeja saved them against Bangladesh too
with the kind of bowling lineup we have , all Indian batting need to do, get 280-300 everytime they go out to bat
Can say the exact same thing about Australia
Sir your top order
Harsha Bhogale, well spoken re the need to score strong in the 1st inning. Rohit Sharma needs to lead out, with Rahul at 1-down, Shubman at 2-down and Virat at 3-down. If either Rohit or Yashashvi should get out soon, that makes Rahul virtually open in any case and Virat virtually at 2-down. Virat's great when the pressure is on him and when he is in catch-up mode, but not to lead out of the gate. -- Comments from another Chemical Engineer!
Compare the catch Travis head took off Rohit sharma in the WC final , siraj dropped an easier catch off Head in Adelaide and both were game-changers
The batting stats were absolutely horrendous!
That's how cricket analysis should be
IF THE BATTERS COMES OUT WITH THE GRIT TO LAST FOR 100-150 BALLS NO MATTER WHAT THEY SCORE, THEN WE ARE VERY MUCH IN.
Prasidh Krishna can be a good selection for Gabba, he can use the bounce well, and bowl some short pitch stuff, he bowled well in the India A vs Aus A matches
He'll be expensive choice won't give wickets but give free runs, look at his performance in south africa
@@kritinarora1049 I think by seeing his performance against aus A ..runs dega magar wicket bhi lake dega sath me

You've hit the bull's eye with your analysis. Batting has been a let down for India for quite some time in both home and away matches.
One thing for sure,Rohit Sharma
And kohli need to practice a lot
In the nets further they need to get into first class cricket in india

Hopes are on india 😢😢 we want wtc cup before ro-ko retire 😢
the pitch i hope will be interesting,, lets hope for some movement
For some reason, most Indian batsmen are not taking a test match approach, they are too rushed and it shows in their shot selection !!! Think about how long the innings were of Pujara, Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Laxman etc, they used to bat all day !
Most important discussion by media and ex cricketers after Adelaide loss is not Rohits form but Siraj-Head fight😂
1st Test- Perth ( seaming bouncy wicket)
2nd - Pink ball
3rd- Gabba ( 2nd fastest wicket in Aus)
The order of grounds shows how badly Australia want to win this series this time around...
Now momentum is clearly with Australia...
Virat and Rohit if not making runs they have to play 100-150 balls.
If they are not doing it, they must be thrown out of the team.
Harsha sir ,
Please focus on the issue with India batsman being lethargic .
India need to focus batting to score runs & bowling if they plan for Head wicket & other batsman not in form
Hello Harsha, if we don't bat well, does Australia bat better?, minus Travis Head. Plan to bounce him out before he crosses 20.This being his --ve point.
Love u kohli meri jaan ❤❤
I see two changes here in Gabba.
First, Akashdeep replacing Harshit.
Second, either of Sundar or Jaddu replacing Ashwin
What has Pant done. He didn't do anything. That's the problem with bhogale. He is selective and praises only Pant and Gill. Shameful
he has won u many games... can afford few normal games and remember he is wk
Why didn't you post on twitter with this link??
