"Wilcoxon Variations" - Solo nr. 02 (Charley Waltzes)

In this series of videos I work in reinterpretations of the short solos from the famous book "The All American Drummer 150 Rudimental Solos", by Charley Wilcoxon.
The idea is to rearrange them for different setups, creating a diversity of small solos, but keeping the stickings and the rudiments presented in the originals.
On the 2nd solo, I pay a little tribute to Max Roach, trying to adapt the phrases to his language, present on the pieces "Drum Also Waltzes" and "For Big Sid".
- Switching from 2/4 to 3/4
- Adding the feet pattern based on "Drum Also Waltzes"
- Rhythmical variation (keeping the stickings and the rudiments)
- Orchestrating the solo
