I remember watching the 1991 Lions team that lost to Washington in the NFC Championship Game. What a ride that was. Now, I get to watch this team just run over any team that gets in their way. Lions fan - Philly is possibly the "scariest" current matchup to me; still think the Lions are the slightly better team when both are healthy. Would be a great game if they meet up. I am getting tired of the media pushing "Philly is the best" narratives all of a sudden just because the Lions haven't lost in forever and there's no other way to create controversy without creating new "best" teams every two weeks.
Definitely not the narrative im getting, it's the other way around actually. Eagles are underdogs vs Baltimore, u still have media saying hurts holds the team back and we haven't played anyone. Lions are scary, happy for that fanbase.

I predict that this season is the start of what is going to be about a decade of dominance by the Lions, where they might not win a Super Bowl every season, as so much of that requires lucky bounces & good fortune with injuries, but they will consistently be in the conversation as one of, if not the best team in the league, year in & year out, & a perennial contender & the team that other fans grow to resent like the Chiefs today because they are so sick of watching us win. Sheila should officially change the team name to the Brand New Lions, because this organization is so fundamentally different today thanks to her, Chris Spielman, Rod Wood, Brad Holmes & MCDC that they might as well be an expansion team by comparison to the Same Old Lions & these changes are such that they are foundational & unlikely to revert long into the future.

I'm happy for the Eagles, but I'm not sure they are able to keep up that play against good team. Let's be honest, they've only beat 2 winning teams, and one of them just lost to Dallas (Commanders). The other will be retested against the Lions in a couple weeks at Detroit (Packers). They only have the Ravens to play for good teams the rest of the year too. The Lions blowout bad teams and win against good teams, and still have a few tests to come vs the Packers, Bills and Vikings. The Bears aren't an easy win either.
What more can we whish for then both teams having their skill players healthy in NFC Champ SHOWDOWN casue injuries allready cost US 2 Games AJ missed 3 games Dallas 3 games and Smmity 2 games.
