This has been one of the most challenging videos I have ever had to make, in terms of technical skill and storytelling. This was a marathon to complete because (as usual) I kept adding more and more stuff as time went on. Plus, the ever-changing culture of memes. I just couldn’t not include all the new ones that came through over the last couple of months.

amazing video!! but how did you get the animated walking units like in 5:45 in bottom left? did you cut them out yourself? or use some sort of color key?
Hey mate so I used to cut them out frame by frame which was so damn painful but now, what I do is get into the AOE2 texture files and change one of them to just bright green. Then paint that texture in the editor. get the unit to walk from one side of the screen to the other and then in post add the colour key and pan the video so it looks like the unit is walking on the spot.
I needs more AoE 2 civ experiences! Maybe not all, but at least most of the well known ones.
