He then spent many years immorally experimenting on people so he could revive her, but He ended up sacrificing himself so she could live in alternate timelines.
A small detail at 1:55 you can hear the trailblazer's tune (main menu theme) which symbolises our entry into her life then it goes so upbeat for a while and then.. slowly but surely fades into nothingness

My mum passed away nearly six months ago and i imagined standing there with her, looking at that beautiful sight with the breeze through our hair. Thank you hoyoverse, for allowing me to feel as if I was with her again, even if it was only for a little while

Did anyone go back to the observation deck after 2.1 story quest? The lines have actually changed. Hoyo's attention to detail is pretty satisfying.
I went there out of curiosity after the quest and quite surprised by the detail as well. Considering that players after this patch will almost never be able to read that line because it will be continuous instead of having to wait for the next patch like us.

It's amazing how this one image can have two different meanings, when we first take it it's just a heartwarming photo between two friends, and then we pick it up after THAT and it just gives us a completely different feeling, , at least that's how it went for me, I just kept staring at it for a few minutes after picking it up.
Also Robin is dead so that's another layer of sadness to this song, we didn't get to know her much but from Sparkle's imitation and March's comments, it seems like she was a pretty good person, hope we get to know her more in flashbacks or something later

They did everything to make it look like there could’ve been something between the mc and firefly. Acheron teasing them being on a date, sampo/sparkle asking if they’ve grown that close, firefly saying that this was a priceless moment for her, also nearby this spot there’s a bird that you have to yank out that says it’s a place where usually couples come to watch the shooting stars. And after all of this, she was taken away swiftly and brutally

@@YosepRAyeah, I read some novels that made me straight up start crying and at first I always tried to hold it in because "men can't cry" but I always felt like my chest was heavy afterwards (not trying to be dramatic, I literally felt like my chest was heavy and even felt a little painful) so eventually I just stopped doing that, I just let it all flow out and it feels so much better, screw whoever thought that men shouldn't cry and that it's feminine to cry

I can't believe crying over this. With the little time we had her, I can't believe I've grown this attached. I never felt like this with Tingun, ever.
That's because Firefly was so expressive, and we literally became her confidant. There were also times she was worried for our sake, it was also so damn wholesome seeing the Trailblazer protect Firefly in all cutscenes, yet in the end we failed. I'd say Firefly is like that one character from an anime movie that's the main heroine.
