Are you sure, Ms. Byrne? It is ALICIA even though the pronunciation is correct. Other than that, the music by Bernard Herrmann was great for the "Twilight Zone" episode of "The Lonely" as well.
maybe if I listen to this while I fall asleep ill wake up in 1985 when I was a kid watching this, I used to be home by 12 noon every day in the summer time to watch the Twilight Zone. channel 5
Daniel's channel Lol. You sound a lot like me Daniel. I used to do the very same thing but only at 1am. I had to know which episode was coming on. My favorites were The Lonely, Walking Distance, & Elegy but I loved them all.
WPIX for me. Part of the classic late night lineup which also included The Honeymooners, Cheers, Tales From the Darkside, The Odd Couple, and Star Trek.
Witness if you will, a dungeon, made out of mountains, salt flats, and sand that stretch to infinity. The dungeon has an inmate: James A. Corry. And this is his residence: a metal shack. An old touring car that squats in the sun and goes nowhere-for there is nowhere to go. For the record, let it be known that James A. Corry is a convicted criminal placed in solitary confinement. Confinement in this case stretches as far as the eye can see, because this particular dungeon is on an asteroid nine-million miles from the Earth. Now witness, if you will, a man's mind and body shriveling in the sun, a man dying of loneliness.
Tell me how glock, vibraphone, two harps, muted trumpets (high), trombone (low), hammond organ can make me feel nine million miles from earth isolated on an asteroid?
Jean Marsh is (to my knowledge) the only actor/actress to appear on the 1959-64 version The Twilight Zone and the 1963-89 version of Doctor Who as a companion. Also, at the time this episode was produced she was married to Jon Pertwee aka 'The Third Doctor'.
I believe it's copyrighted, but I was able to upload this with no problems, only whoever owns the copyright put ads (I think) in front of the video, which they get the revenue on. I would imagine you need their permission to use it in a short film, but I don't know how much it matters if it's going to be a relatively small thing, like for a class or something. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help!
I had an Alien encounter in my bedroom, its not a joke. I heard very strange ALien Music that was never heard on the earth, and I saw the Alien, it didnt even look like anything understandable, It was also terrifying. this song reminds me of my encounter with extraterrestrials
One of my favourite episodes and music. Love Alisha's beautiful, innocent smile!

Bernard Herrman, Taxi Driver, Psycho, TZ, truly a gift to Music
I agree with you. Bernard Herrmann also did the music score for the 1941 classic film of "Citizen Kane" as well.

I was born in 85' so I was doing the same thing in 92'.

To me, his finest TV score for its lush orchestral color
This is beautiful
Another Seinfeld fan, I see!
And yes, this one's one of my favorites. ☺

That's the magic created by Mr Herrmann.
The apparent facetiousness of your question not withstanding, there are a lot of celestial sounds in that mix.
@@colincox5671 The music by BH is the blood supply to an otherwise, largely, sterile episode.
Allenby!

Also appeared in a Tales From The Darkside episode
Bonsoir messieurs, ou re bonsoir si vous débarquez d'une autre vidéo.
Would it be possible to use The Twilight Zone music on a short film I am making? Or is it copyrighted?

Just give a credit to Herrmann is all that's needed
