Just Alex? If I had been him, I wouldn't have been able to utter a single word, I believe. What's more, incoherent questions deserve no more than incoherent answers, so she was way too lucky to have them in front. Anyway, Matt's simply incredible here, pure gold, all wit.

As an Englishman I can confirm that the phrase "Suck it and See" is an British phrase which essentially means "try it and find out" which is an appropriate album title for a plain beige album cover it makes sense so you don't go in expecting anything, terrible interview though
so true, and the fact they’re so reluctant to explain it is both out of annoyance and literally reflecting the central idea of the album - don’t have it explained, just listen to it :))

When she makes the questions about Suck It And See, Alex seems ready to get the hell out. It's obvious for his reaction he doesn't want it to mean something sexual or at least not during this interview, she made both of them uncomfortable AND IT WAS SO OBVIOUS. She attacked him with questions implying he was drunk and sexually aggressive because of the name of the album, glad he just sat there looking like he couldn't wait for the whole thing to be over. And glad Matt was there to bring some laughs and kill the awkward silences.

this was so uncomfortable to watch. her questions were disrespectful and her attitude was rude. "are you drunk?" is NOT a good way to start an interview. asking them unrelated questions to the music like what your fav adjective is wtf??? and there was no segway between lines of questioning. iheartradio needs to do better.

I think she is brilliant! Most interviewers are boring and have NO sense of humor. She brings something new to the table, and I think The Arctic Monkeys enjoyed not having to answer the same old questions all over again. :)
