It takes 30 different models of this walking foot device to add on. Plus, many won’t work unless you buy a long screw M3 X 19mm (3/4”). My Juki DDL 5550 will sew leather all day but you’ll need a screw to actuate the walking movement.
I also had a problem with puckering as I was making coasters from two layers of quilted fabric with double fold seam binding around the edges. I thought I just wasn't lining it up properly, folding over tightly enough, etc. Now I know I need a walking foot. Thank you so much for your tutorials. You show and explain everything so clearly and it all makes so much sense!
I like the way you do both... I usually watch the videos first and then, when I'm sewing, I keep my tablet handy to read the descriptions just to refresh my memory.
In addition to the valuable tutorial on the walking foot, I absolutely 😍 the tip you gave about putting your video in our liked videos folder. Very clever. I also love the timbre of your voice. Much success to you!
I do not know the machine myself, but Necchi Q132A seems to be a low shank machine. At least this is what I believe looking at the manual, the all purpose foot described in the manual seems to me a low shank foot. If iut is so, you can use any foot I presented in this tutorial, all low shank feet are (or should be) interchangeable. If you buy the foot off Amazon you can try and if not good, return it - and I really like Amazon for this.
Im sewing with jersey fabric, the fabric always curls when i stitch, so it looks curled…. witch needle/stitch/foot would you recommend for jersey fabric? this video is so helpful thanks ☺️☺️☺️
Camilla, I just made a video on knit fabric curling, here is the link th-cam.com/video/EtBMkjbhxDA/w-d-xo.html. And I have detailed tutorials on my blog on needles and stitches, here are the links if you want to read www.ageberry.com/stretch-stitches-sewing-machine/, www.ageberry.com/stretch-needle-sewing-machine/, www.ageberry.com/stretch-thread-for-sewing/.
What a wonderful tutorial, thank you. I also saved it to my Pinterest folder so I can look back as a refresher.

Thank you, your skills are so needed by this younger generation to improve their own skills and mine at 67, never to old or young.
Thank you so much for your feedback! You are so right, never to old or young to learn something new.

Great information.
How do I prevent the tread from jamming at the row end. I have Singer. Is there better made foot?
This is very useful - what walking foot should I get for a Necchi Q132A? thanks in advance.
