It doesn't have to make contact with the head to be a penalty. You can't lead with your elbows at all in the NHL.

what goes unnoticed on the OT winner by Wennberg is Kakko lifting Kulikov's stick, allowing Roslovic to slide the puck to Lindgren.

As a Oiler fan I was always partial to the Rangers (Mark Messier was my favorite Oiler of all time). I liked Gretzky but Mark had a toughness and brought the Cup even after Gretzky left (Oilers 1989) and to NY (1994). GO Rangers!!! Oilers vs Rangers is my nightmare....(or dream series!).

The Rangers have just been scoring some incredible goals. Panthers have controlled play in all 3 games but at the end of the day you have to put the puck in the net by making an extraordinary play with these goalies.

Panthers are really the best possession team out of the four and they are so fun to watch. They just got to start putting more pucks in the net. It also can't help them peppering all the teams they play with so much offensive zone time that Bob gets ice cold back there in net

It's against the rules to lead with your elbows at all. It doesn't have to be head contact.

Trouba’s stick broke late in the 3rd for his third penalty. I don’t have an issue with the hit on Rodrigues either. So he had another but but be drew a penalty as well. Two assists and 9 blocked shots.

Correction Wennberg hasn’t struggled at all the guys been an workhorse in D zone especially 5 v 5 that’s what they got him for also been very unlucky he’s hit about 4 posts this playoffs hopefully the finishing will start coming tho
Yeah his only issue has been finishing on all the chances hes gotten. That line with Kakko and Cuylle has done a lot of good work in the offensive zone, but haven’t gotten the results goal wise
Apart from the first three games, where the Rangers would take a 2-1 series lead, the Panthers would storm back to take the series in a close 6 games.
trouba is fine leads the d in scoring is in the plus column leads the team in hits and blocked shots. so what about a couple of penalties.

They got outplayed in game 2 and game 1 was evenly played i'm not sure what series you're watching. The Rangers win a lot of games they get out shot in because they finish better and that's a skill. That's why they beat Carolina and if they do breakdown Igor is back there they have been winning like that all year it's not some fluke.
@@jameshannagan4256 game 2 the Rangers had more shots on goal, more hits, more blocked shots, better faceoff win % and more quality scoring chances. And more importantly, more goals.
