Crazy challenge… go around the barrels as fast as you can blindfolded on a horse that’s NEVER seen the pattern AND your friend/partner has to yell directions of where to go and when to turn!! I did this and it was so much fun! Get “teams” and try this, fastest team wins!!!🤪😈
This sounds like a really fun challenge to take part in. I am blind and have been all my life. I've been riding for several years, including some time working as a strapper for Riding for the Disabled. tacking up, gruiming, leading, feeding etc are so easy for me to do blind. I think it sounds like you did a good job of this blind, well-done.

Woah...I ride English and this taking up is kinda strange...she throws that saddle on the horse rly hard and western is heavier than English is! I was taught to be super gentle with tacking up! But I loved the video! I definitely learned more about western riding and tack 😂
Abigail Wyatt lol really? 😂 for one, in English the saddle is like 10x lighter and our saddle pads are also very thin compared to yalls type .( I know cause I’ve picked up a western saddle before since my friends ride western but I don’t ) then its much more proper I would say. You must have good, straight back, hands down, legs perfect, etc. where in western you can be less neat about your riding. I like it a lot though . I don’t think I’d switch to another style. How do you like western?

Rachel Hammer actually you do have to be really proper for western the techniques are just different. Especially in showmanship and pleasure you lose points If you do anything with position wrong
