I mean part of the point is that he's all brawn and no brain, so he tends to throw himself into combat scenarios without strategizing at all. Don't discount him as a fighter though; he may not be supernaturally strong, but he seems to be about at the limits of natural strength, endurance and physical recovery. After all, he does usually get his ass beat about three times as hard as any normal person could take without dying.

Dude, the endings of 1 & 2 are so beautiful. Would have loved to have seen a montage of it in 3 as the end credits scene. Which was rather disappointing.

I think the prisoner woman is the one who worked for the collector before her but she wasn’t good enough so he captured her. I remember she hadn’t been doing her job the entire time at first and then he threatened her in some way and she continued working. Perhaps that what it is?
