- First Broken Bone in the Brown household. Well, at least for the kids, that is. Having a broken hand is no fun! Sometimes our choices have consequences that just bite!

Luke is your little alpha-boy, I think. Tough and brave, with a heart of gold. He reminds me of his dad, so far as I have gotten to know him, both in appearance and in his generosity of spirit. A wonderful brother. Luke will never let anyone down, you can bet.

Hope Luke is doing better, I am glad he didn*t need surgery, after going with Lincoln through so many operations, you guys and Luke are real troopers, annother good thing is Luke did not to have a cast put on , since the rea covered by a cast is annoying it starts to itch, hope he heals quickly, also I would like to say hi to Lincoln, take care,👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍😆
He is all better! He did end up having a hard cast, but it’s so crazy how quick it heals!
I broke my elbow badly but managed not to need surgery it wasn't even sore! He will be fine and good luck for the surgery
So glad you didn’t need it. Guess what... he ended up not needing it either. Phew 🤗

I broke my pinky 2 months ago. It wasn’t a bad break, but it did really hurt! I’m sorry. Hope you are better by now!
He is doing well! Breaking any bone is NO fun!
I do know what is liked to have a broken bone feels like. Back in early March 2012 that I broken my left ankle in a bad car accident. I had surgery the following afternoon. I was so nervous on the surgery. I wore a splint cast a couple of weeks. Even wore a fiberglass cast for 4 weeks. The boot cast a little bit longer.
I all most broke my arm.I've never broken anything.

He punched a wall? That doesn't sound like a good idea. I'm glad he is better, I don't know I would be very comfortable knowing the doctor moved my bone back on place.

I broke my hand punching a wall once... and then after I broke it in one spot I kept hitting the whole and ended up with 2 fractures... so I know how embarrassing it is 😂
Chocolate Covered Strawberries are my favorite!!!!!!!! Glad Luke did not need surgery. Phew(: BTW Does Lincoln like chocolate covered strawberries?
He does! He has a sweet tooth and is actually my least picky child!

I literally sprained my ankle falling over a fence after trying to climb over to get my football from their garden 😂😂😂 this fence is about 1.5-2metres tall!

Aw lucky he got a numbing shot. When I was 5 I broke my leg in 2 places (3 bones in my leg) and I got a hard plaster cast straight away and they were so rough! I had to wear it for 6 weeks.
He said the numbing shot was worse than the realignment 😬 none of that is ever any fun!
Ohhh but the numbing shot would have helped but he is so brave

The only thing close to breaking a bone I've had is a hairline fracture and what I currently have is a torn Achilles tendon which might need surgery

I am glad Luke you didn’t have to have surgery. Was Luke upset or just fooling around. Why did he hit the fall. Has he done this before and have you brought any consequences before ? I am so sorry this time the consequence was a broken bone. How old is Luke or what grade is he ? If you don’t mind answering. If not you don’t have to.
Right 🤦🏽♀️ oh, he was mad. We told him next time he gets mad, go punch a pillow. He definitely learned his lesson and regretted it.
House of Brown I don’t know if you have any kind of spiritual faith but I have worked with kids and have two nephews and a niece. ( older now ) I felt like I should pray for Luke this and you guys this morning during my Bible study. I hope you don’t mind. I am glad he regretted it. Pain is sometime a teacher to kids if it be a broken bone , a grounding, a spanking. I hope Luke has not gotten too many of those. Thanks.

I broke my left wrist before falling off of the monkey bars at recess in second grade!! I instantly cried my eyes out!!

I had broken bones and they hurt in different times and i still have my blankie with me when I'm sick i have to have my baby blankets security sometimes my stuffed animals right now i,m hurting so I have my baby blankie

I've had the same break (Not quite as bad though) done in the same way! Mine was pretty dumb though. I got kicked by a horse and it hurt so I hit the wall! Counterproductive? Oh yeah!

When I was little I liked to sleep with scraps of a baby wonsey and I and 27 and still sleep with a pice a wonsey. Not the same pice I had when I was little

First Broken Bone - So Painful
I probably have a broken hand too, punched a wall and now my hand is really sensative too touch. I havent told my mum because i just got surgery to reconstruct my ACL

House of Brown well yeah I really should tell her, but for me at the moment, getting my knee fixed up is probably my number one priority. My hand can be permanently bruised and sensitive. It’s the least of my problems. You might think it’s crazy but by not telling my mum I think it would be very beneficial for me
No, I don’t think it’s crazy. You have to do what’s right for you. I was just speaking from the angle of a mom. No judgements here.

I won’t go to care now because I was in utah with my dad and some other people and my finger hurt really bad so when we got back into town I had my mom take me into care now so I’m in care now the doctor comes in and looks at my finger and says I have paronychia she said I’m going to give you some cream to help with that and come back if not better so we get the cream the next day I’m using it like it said nothing is happing it’s I can’t sleep it hurts so bad I’m sleeping on couch crying then the next day my mom said it’s getting worse so we called the hand surgeon there full with appointments the next day but they squeezed me in when I told them what’s going on so we get to the hand surgeon he come in and said that looks horrible I’m going to go get the shots ready I’m like crap so he comes back I get a painful shot while he’s fixing my finger he said good thing you came in that was a very serious finger infection he called it cellulitis he actually had me stay off of work for a week it was horrible so ever since I suffered like that I stay way from care now ( they told me don’t go to your hand surgeon it a waste of there time) care now sucks

Poor boy... but it did teach him a lesson I'm sure. I've been lucky so far, The nearest I came to a broken bone was after a fall. That hurt me so much it still aches 20 years later.

I'm 30, and I still sleep with my sheep skin lamby, that I've had since a baby. I bring it with me when I go camping, on vacation, and when I go to the hospital for surgery.

I had that exact brake after I hit a wall in anger I was lucky I didn’t have to get it set. Kids heal quickly so hopefully it won’t cause him to many problems

What type of wall did he punch? I’ve punched a concrete wall about a few days ago and still haven’t gone to the doctors which is stupid since I punched it 30 or more times.
Just a regular wall, but he hit a stud 🤦🏽♀️ you should definitely have it checked!
Don't feel bad bud I once got so angry I punched a brick wall about 25 times and I broke my knuckles I don't know how bad it was but they had to tie my hand to a plastic board and told me if I broke them again the damage would be too bad to fix

Yea I snapped my tendon from punching a wall 2 1/2 weeks ago and I have splint on right now and it doesn’t feel nice

About 6 months ago I had almost the same break, had my bone put back in place the same way but still had to have surgery

That break looked pretty bad. Good job Luke on going through the bone replacement. I would have been throwing a huge fit.

@@HouseofBrown I definitely did, I was not allowed to play my sports for awhile and that was so hard on me. I love being active and it also hurt quiet a lot so I won't be doing that again 😂

I feel for you. I have a compression fracture of my T 12 vertebrae

Every time I think I’m getting better there is one setback or another. I read that I made and spending three months in bed just to make sure that this fracture heals completely and if it doesn’t then I’m looking at surgery
reborns_and_reptiles Webster the absolute worst. I was on strict bedrest with Lincoln for a month. It was one of the hardest things I had to do!
