    Buy Media Planning templates:
    Option 1: www.senatorwerunads.com/products/663c9b42c41d2c0d0d3bfd74
    Option 2: ovais.gumroad.com/l/mediaplanningtemplates

      Hey Ovais, is the more complex media planning template that you mention at 26:40 also included when buying the media planning template?

      Where is the video where you clearly discuss this "Programmatic & Display" Template that you have given a glimpse of at 26:40?
      And also, I didn't find that template on your Gumroad listing page to buy! Please upload that to enable us to buy that one too along with this template. Otherwise, this master template is incomplete without that "Programmatic & Display" Template.

    Back in 2022 when I watched this video for the first time, I had little knowledge regarding making media plan with every detail being given in the plan. But after 1.5 years, in between I grew up as a professional, when I am watching it again, it seems pretty relevant to me and now I am understanding what should I follow to prepare a proper media plan. Thank you, Ovais. You are a gem.

    This is something I really wanted to know about how your media plans are made. The ones I made are not that different but these media plans includes some rows and columns which I never thought of adding in my plans. I would definitely be adding them in mine. BTW in the dayparting, how often do you use them with your clients and does have a huge difference in the media plan when you run a daypart campaign vs a non daypart campaign.

    • @maartenmidden1651
      @maartenmidden1651 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just check your stats on running campaigns. If your not using day parting right now, you can see what the stats are for each hour and make decisions based on that.
      In my experience you see that it depends on the product and campaign type you are running. For example a B2B focused product or service wil have higher response during office hours.
      In general it seems that the quality of an impression is better during normal hours compared to nightly hours.
      So it depends...

There are a few ads that I have run in the past for real estate clients. On the spend of $120, I have crossed 31000 impressions, as shown. Please help me with this. • @tanmaypanadi1414
      @tanmaypanadi1414 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it depends on the business, what stage are you in of the product life cycle? usually ROAS - return on ad spend, Customer acquisition costs is what you want to look at. then life time value assuming a customer acquired is retained and upsold .
      you can choose quarterly or annual depending on how long the purchases cycle is.
      Best option is to calculate your ad spend and conversion rates and then compare it to the benchmarks and white papers released by search engine land or hubspot etc. They are categorised industry wise, specific benchmarks for industry's vertical, platform specific etc with relevant year over year insights.
      most marketers start with 1-2% conversion rate as benchmark and roi of break even point for the first year. No agency can guarantee it as people's behaviour change overtime but you will soon find out certain segments are much easier to serve and your own preferences of working with them is higher could be easy sell, or less support issues etc and then agency adjusts their targeting according to the inputs provided by you as you decide which leads or traffic is how valuable to your business.

    Wanted to know how do we get to know the "Click to Lead" rates if we do not have access to past campaign data or if the client also does not have access to such data? Also wanted to understand how do we get the expected CTR if we do not have past campaign experience on platforms such as DV360?

    My only doubt is, are we allocating budget in the video based on the conversion click to lead rate or is it based on the impressions?

    • @amitkotak3122
      @amitkotak3122 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      mostly it could be conversion as the end goal. if conversion was not the goal then no use of mentioning conv.rate in media plan as the goal would then be reach and impressions.

    Hi Ovais Ahmad,
    Sriharsha here. I've been working as a display ad associate at dentsu global services with 2 years of hands-on experience on the social platforms like Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Google's Campaign Manager 360 and Display Video 360.
    Now, I've got an opportunity to switch to a media planning and strategy role. This would involve working with platforms like Comscore, Vividata, Path matics, GWI for strategy, and tools like Comscore, Nielsen, Kantar, ad servers for media planning.
    The thing is, I don't have any prior experience working on these platforms and tools. You've got experience on the media planning and strategy side, so I was hoping you could share your thoughts. Do you think this shift would be a good move for me career-wise? Or should I stick to the ad ops side where I'm more comfortable?
    Let me know what you think, I'd really appreciate your advice!
