whatever happens, make sure there’s no lint on the screen. Just go through it at least 5 times with a cloth. Because I bought the same thing and whenever light hits my phone at a certain angle there’s 2 bubbles all because of some tiny pieces of lint
Hi, That’s why I can’t stand screen protectors. Apple just needs to make a screen where it’s anti scratch. For the money we spend on these phones you shouldn’t need a case or a screen protector in my opinion. Make your product durable.
Exactly this. I had to go through 2 screen protectors because of this reason. I made sure there was no dust or lint on the screen but somehow it got underneath 😅
@@felixleibas5359 Thats not how glass works. If the glass is softer it will be easier to scratch but harder to crack. If the glass is harder it will be easier to crack but harder to scratch. There is no perfect solution.
remember make sure when installing the glass on the holder you pull it all the way up over the plastic notch on the holder. That will align the glass properly. I made the mistake and eyeballed it and it was not perfect but at the cost point I am just living with it.. Also, I wonder if you can get dust or skin particles by moving it over to the holder after removing them with the sticker? If that's the case, I think maybe putting it in the holder first would help with that. Otherwise, great instructions
I got a replacement. I cleaned my screen fully when in holder, with included materials and right before I put the glass on I used the dust sticker and quickly put the glass on top. Try to do it in good lighting and in a clean environment. I did it at a bench at the Apple Store and it came out flawlessly and it’s been over a month. Good luck. 👍
Great content. Either your wearing pretty nail polish, or that's your wife's hands. Now for 45 bucks there shouldn't be any problems with bubbles not for that price. With cases I've used, from otterbox to supcase unicorn beetle pro and everything in between. I find that Amfilm elastic skin which is a film not glass. Works best on all those cases. And I'm not worried if I drop my phone will the screen crack. With supcase unicorn beetle pro, and otterbox defender pro they give more then enough lip protection that the screen should have a problem. Unless you drop it in rock's. Then no screen protector will save it.
I like it, but 3 days later I started getting air bubbles. I don't really want to have to clean it every other day, but I still think its my best option compared to the others out there
Was able to install the 14 Pro Max protector without any bubbles; however the "alignment tray" left a tiny millimeter space up top not covered. (or is that normal?) Yeah I guess you have to yank the film toward the top. No alcohol wipes or tool included. With that outrageous price; I'll just leave as is.
Whatever happens don't buy this brand. I spent 58$ for a two-glass package. Box had only one (may be an issue at Staples where I got it). Installed the one remaining but found out it had 'specks' of dust underneat....avojd ....

Oh yeah and make sure you use the notch to align it perfectly once the holder is clamped around phone ;)
