How the hell is Matt Le Tissier in this video? Just because you love playing for your club doesn't mean you have to leave because you're of a higher level of skill. Le Tissier is an inspiration who shows that it's not all about the money and that the true prize is to play for a club you love..
Oliver Robinson i know, and i dont doubt his football abilities - but your sucsess as a footballer kinda measures with how many trophies you win, and not how loyal you are yo a club
+Thomas Bennett you could say Totti ruined his career as he could of went to spain and probably win ballon d'or. But he stayed loyal, thats how he earned all the respect he has.
+Robert Albarda Exactly! Nothing you said of Matt le Tissier was negative, unless turning down an offer from a more successful club is ruining your career. If so, Buffon, Maldini, Viera, Gerrard and Totti had unsusccessful careers, because they all turned down offers from Real Madrid.
+Caius of Glantri yea but all those players had decent teams that were successful in their leagues except gerrard Southampton is a mid table team unlike the other player's teams
Agreed no way Matt Le Tissier should be on this list. Yes could have had more money, caps and trophies. But he's been voted Southampton's greatest ever player numerous times. priceless.
totally spot on, i mean if you considering him as a wasted talent they must also consider Steven Gerard the same as well. No offense to Liverpool and i know they did win a few trophies but alot of bigger teams wanted him.
It's also a bit premature of them to say that Nasri has ruined his career. I'm not his biggest fan but he's still got a decent chance of holding down a regular starting place for City, especially now that Silva is starting to show signs of fading...once he's got over his current injury that is
Fuck off, just cos hes loyal to his home town club that makes him a failure???? Joke, such a fantastic player. COYS. But how the fuck is adam johnson not in there and le tissier is
Take le tissier off that list . He's a very respected player and the fact that he never went to man utd doesnt mean anything. Also gazza did spoil his career but he somehow managed to salvage something from it. He still played well in some big games. He is not remembered as a failure.
Matt Le Tisier's argument had 0 substance - he chose loyalty over a big money move. The fact he stayed at - no offence - Southampton and still became one of the best midfielders in English history, seems like he had a good career to me.
max sanderson well he's not from boldon he's from easington lane which is Durham I think and wtf had it got to do with SAFC as if they breed peado ya gonk
+honeycomb I recall the Sunderland fans cheering on Johnson singing he shags who he wants after he was charged. Bad crack that. Sunderland is full of them clearly
There are plenty of great players that ruined their careers after having had great careers until then: Maradona, Ronaldinho, George Best, Cantona, Kaká, Owen, etc...
Artem Milevskiy: At one point teams like Porto offered 25 million euros for him but the party life, alcohol, weird decisions(he once showed up for a new coach presentation in a bathrobe) made him a running joke and a cautionary tale for young footballers,he is now 31 and plays for Concordia, a club fighting to stay up in the Romanian league.
I thought you should at least have added Michael Owen, Quaresma, Saviola. Other names include: Denilson (Arsenal), Kerlon, Stan Collymore, Recoba. While we are at it, could you do another video of 10 Most versatile players? (position wise)
+Football Daily That makes no sense at all. He was loyal and didn't chase after the money which is a common theme on this video. Too many players would rather warm the bench get rich and have a winners honour for playing 6 matches. Yes he may not have the winning honours but he is a cult hero and legend at Southampton and that is something you can't just buy in the transfer market. If Manchester were not successful would you put Ryan Giggs under the same banner?
Big difference between "could've achieved more" and ruining your career. He wasn't just a Saints legend, but was also considered a pretty top quality EPL player in general (who performed at a consistently high standard). You don't get a reputation like that (where people often question why you didn't get more England caps) without having shown and fulfilled the potential to be a class player.
To put Matt Le Tissier on the list is just stupid. He stuck with his club out of loyalty and they needed him badly. He once said why do I need to go to another club and earn millions, I don’t live like a superstar all I want to do is play for the club I love.
maybe they meant it as he could have gone to better things but who cares football is about passion and thats really rare these days as most players either go for glory or money.
Le Tiss? Never. The fact that he wasn't a mercenary like so many are these days doesn't diminish his legendary status - it only augments it. The man was fucking class. Nuff said.
hahah I remember Michael Johnson was absolutely class scored a outside the foot in off the post outside the box was a top goal. Even as a united fan have to feel sorry for him.
Not trying to be rude or anything but since when his being loyal to your club ruining your career? So by your logic Totti, Iniesta, Maldini, Giggs, Scholes, Messi, Buffon, and more ruined their careers. I'm sorry but Le Tissier didn't deserve to be there, he's one of the most technically gifted players I've ever seen. His touch rivals Bergkamp and Zidane.
+Kevin A yes they are. No trophies = no results. What does a player do without throphies? Sounds to me like a wannabe loser and mediocre. Great player wins trophies ;)
Matt Le Tissier? What a load of rubbish. He didn't ruin his career, he stayed in Southampton because he wanted to, he was never interested in big money of fame. This is utter nonsense.
Reimond Manco, a young Peruvian who at one point regarded by many as the next Teofilo Cubillas and was said to be better than James Rodriguez and Neymar. After being named player of the tournament in the U-17 South American championship he got a move to PSV Eindhoven. However he didn't get much playing time and he got loaned out to Willem II and Juan Aurich before finally getting sold to the latter. After disciplinary problems and lack of hard work he was sold to Leon de Huanuaco in Mexico, in the past couple of years he has been hoping around from club to club before finally returning to his boyhood club of Alianza Lima where he is a shadow of his former self.
+Fodu Namputu he was successful and the best in the world but at the age of 28 he fucked up he had drinking problems and partying with girls and moved out of barca and lost all Ronaldinho is my idol but the truth has been said
+Qatani ali paul gascoigne had/has drinking problems. if ronaldinho had "problems" he'd be showing that physically. he still gets through training and plays 90 minutes at the end of the week. you are talking manure on so many levels. not only was he a terrific player but a great professional on the field. messi regards him as one the best ever, so please stop embarrassing yourself
Two out of ten played together for Parma. Adriano and Mutu. Despite the fact they were never "friends" on the pitch they were completing each other and formed the best striking power Parma ever had. Adriano had a superior power and Mutu superior skills and cleverness.
Saying Matt Le Tis is someone who ruined their career is like saying Totti, Sherear or Gerrard wasted their careers cause they could have gone to bigger teams. Loyalt doesn't equal wasted talent
Le Tissier was what is what is rare in football nowadays.. He is loyal! Only thing he messed up was choosing England as his national team. He would have had first team in Scotlans Ireland or Wales.. but again he is loyal. He is still at the club now, and interviews stating he would have it no other way.. Le God
Matthew Le Tissier definitely should NOT be in this list. He's the Southhampton version of Alan Shearer. He played for the love of the game and played for the club that he loved. I'm sure he's much more satisfied with himself and his career than for doing that than many other players. An outstanding example of a true sportman in many people's opinion I'd say.
+Shrek Senpai he was earning around 80k a week playing for man city and getting capped for england a few years ago, yes he had a career and massive potential too
There are many more names to be listed. One that comes to my mind is that of Balotelli, who had some brilliant moments (especially the semi-finale in 2012 against Germany) but mostly excels in strange behavior on and off the pitch.
I have absolutely no idea why Matt Le Tissier is on this list. He was a one club player at Southampton for over a decade, scoring a 3 figure number of goals, as well as making 500+ appearances for Saints with loyalty and distinction
Matt le Tissier came from my home island, Guernsey. I've met him and he trained me at my football club but he didn't ruin his career by being loyal to Southampton. He said he only stayed because Southampton was close to Guernsey and he wanted to stay near his family.
le tissier never ruined his career cos he stayed at Southampton? if that's the case then so did Zanetti, Giggs, Scholes, Xavi, Totti, Gerrard and Iniesta.
I think it's mainly die to he could have won a lot of trophies and made it into any squad in the world at the time but staying isn't ruining it bit I see what you meant but people like xavi and iniesta won lots of trophies
Staying at Southampton for his entire career has ensured that in 50 years, 100 years time Matt Le Tissier will be remembered as a Premier League legend and one club man of the 90s. If he is on the list for not winning a trophy then he sits alongside Tom Finney.
You forgot about Fábio Paím. He was with Cristiano Ronaldo in Sporting Lisbon's youth teams, and was a great technical player then. But after going to Chelsea very young, he stopped taking practice seriously. He is only 28 now, and is without a football club.
I don't quite understand how Matt Le Tissier is the top ten players that ruined their career. The guy was a brilliant player in the 1990s, stayed loyal to Southampton and also scored some of the best goals the premier league in the 90s.
Spot on with Michael Johnson. That said, you omitted to mention the "mystery" stomach injury that he somehow contrived to acquire within days of signing a vastly improved, highly lucrative contract, and which "prevented" him from ever playing more than 10 minutes for City again. Poor lad was just left to count the enormous amount of money he was being paid for doing sod all.
There is a player, named Jobson, whose skills were amazing. He played very, very well at Boatafogo, but destroyed his carrer with drugs and alcohol. Another one was Bruno, a goalkeeper, who was arrested days before his transfer to Milan, due to the murder of an ex-girlfriend. Adriano played at Corinthians, winning the Brazilian league, but he played something like 3 or 4 matches. He could be compared to Ronaldo, and throw his carrer in the trash.
If you want to include Le Tissier you may as well include Shearer too. Despite being considered one of, if not the, best strikers in Premier League history he would have won a lot more than his single Premier League trophy with Blackburn if he had taken up the chance to join Man U instead of staying loyal to Newcastle.
Absolutely loved Adriano, he's the reason inter milan are my second team, reason for his downfall was that his father (who he was very close with) passed and he couldn't deal with it
Stan Collymore should have been on this list instead of Matt Le Tissier. Collymore never fulfilled his potential and seemed to feature in the front pages of newspapers rather than the back pages
I absolutely agree with No 1 Adriano. A very strong player who lost himself. In the very next future another one will be included in the top 10: Mario Ballotelli
Clearly LeTissier shouldn't be on there, loyalty is a rare quality in football and shouldn't be used as a stick to beat someone with. And Southampton were a PL side, so he hardly threw it all away for obscurity. Ask him if he 'ruined his career'...
I disagree with Matt Le Tissier being put into the list. Even though he didn't go to a big club, he remained in Southampton and there is nothing wrong with that. Saints still call him "Le God" because he chose to stay with the Saints until retirement. This is not career loss or ruin.
I think that it's an absolute joke that Matt Le Tissier is at number 4. This is a one club player who played for Southampton over 3 different decades, and played for the Saints with tremendous loyalty, dedication and professionalism. He scored roughly 200 goals in roughly 500 games for the Saints, which is certainly NOT the hallmark of somebody who ruined their career
Matt Le Tissier DID NOT ruin his career. He played for the club he loved and that should be respected, he didnt care about the money or trophies he just wanted to play for his Saints. Matt had a trait that is almost non-existent nowadays and that should be admired.
How the hell is Matt Le Tissier in this video? Just because you love playing for your club doesn't mean you have to leave because you're of a higher level of skill. Le Tissier is an inspiration who shows that it's not all about the money and that the true prize is to play for a club you love..
True
+Jamie Rodgers He still kinda fails as a top class footballer. You arent the best, if you havent won anything.
Lars Meg le tissier didnt have a great squad around him. 1 player doesnt win you trophies.
Oliver Robinson i know, and i dont doubt his football abilities - but your sucsess as a footballer kinda measures with how many trophies you win, and not how loyal you are yo a club
+Lars Meg so would you class players like Shearer as average as he only won the prem once?
I'm sorry but staying loyal to your club is not ruining your career
True.
+Thomas Bennett you could say Totti ruined his career as he could of went to spain and probably win ballon d'or. But he stayed loyal, thats how he earned all the respect he has.
Exactly
+Andrew ITS THE SHOERHAM BOYS MAKING ALL THE NOISE EVERYWHERE WE GOOOOO
true 100%
Since when is being Loyal to your club ruining your career?
+Robert Albarda Exactly! Nothing you said of Matt le Tissier was negative, unless turning down an offer from a more successful club is ruining your career. If so, Buffon, Maldini, Viera, Gerrard and Totti had unsusccessful careers, because they all turned down offers from Real Madrid.
+Caius of Glantri yea but all those players had decent teams that were successful in their leagues except gerrard Southampton is a mid table team unlike the other player's teams
Agreed no way Matt Le Tissier should be on this list. Yes could have had more money, caps and trophies. But he's been voted Southampton's greatest ever player numerous times. priceless.
+TheGuruUk2008 exactly he's a legend to them. He stayed where he believed he would shine the best.
+Pablo Suarez well texeira did good cuz he was in a shit league anyways
Matt LeTissier did not ruin his career. He was loyal.
true
An Uwe Seeler type.
totally spot on, i mean if you considering him as a wasted talent they must also consider Steven Gerard the same as well. No offense to Liverpool and i know they did win a few trophies but alot of bigger teams wanted him.
Was just about to say the same
So...Nasri's on the list because he took a big money move, and le Tissier is on the list because he DIDN'T take a big money move. hm.
Ikr both shouldnt be here
It's also a bit premature of them to say that Nasri has ruined his career. I'm not his biggest fan but he's still got a decent chance of holding down a regular starting place for City, especially now that Silva is starting to show signs of fading...once he's got over his current injury that is
saxfreak01 lol hes my favorite player idk why
nasri's an asshole
what does that mean
What Le Tissier did is admirable! No one does that nowadays - sticks to a small club! Stupidity to put him on this list!
exactly my thoughts
i do think ryan shawcross is similar to Le Tissier, had he went on elsewhere, we could have seen him in England colours this Euros instead
Ravenghost123 Rafa Benitez did
George McDonald Do you mean Liverpool? Hehe. No, but Rafa had not been in charge there for a long time before relegation
Ravenghost123 6 years, 2004-2010
MATT LE TISS?! Surely not!! Do you agree or disagree get involved in the comments below!!!
no
pato is worst
Fuck off, just cos hes loyal to his home town club that makes him a failure???? Joke, such a fantastic player. COYS. But how the fuck is adam johnson not in there and le tissier is
He's loyal how the hell did he ruin his career (Southampton fan)
michu went from the best spanish striker to 5th division in spain
Take le tissier off that list . He's a very respected player and the fact that he never went to man utd doesnt mean anything. Also gazza did spoil his career but he somehow managed to salvage something from it. He still played well in some big games. He is not remembered as a failure.
Also, who is to say If he had gone to a big club he would have been a hit. He could easily have got lost in the reserves.
Gazza ruined his life more than his career.
agreed ridiculous to say le ties ruined his career
he proved loyalty
are we to say vary ruined his career by not joining the arse
+sommerioslo gazza is a legend
+sommerioslo gazza is a legend
So basically Le Tissier ruined his career by turning down moves to United and Chelsea? That's called loyalty. Didn't ruin his career at all
Matthew Pritchard I
I like the part where they miss out the fact that Adriano's father died and that is why he went on to partying and doing drugs.
+Lastdayship Clan KoH How can you like that?!
+Football Daily Sarcasm, i did not necessarily like that but i would understand why you would not put that in the video.
+Lastdayship Clan KoH Oh, yeah, you're right... Way to go to honouring his dad!
+TheMoonlight2887 because that's REALLY how simple things are...right?...right?
+Lastdayship Clan KoH Why he go out and parteh when his father died?
Matt Le Tisier's argument had 0 substance - he chose loyalty over a big money move. The fact he stayed at - no offence - Southampton and still became one of the best midfielders in English history, seems like he had a good career to me.
+Glen Robinson That is what i exactly was thinking too.
How did Matt le tissier ruin his career he was a loyal one club man and is loved by all Southampton fans who view him as a good
*god
+Nz Kickerz 2 i am a saints fan and we still call him le god years after he finished his career
10 careers ruined by injuries!
omg yes please,
Mine :/
+Sujal Pandey jack wilshere. He would probably be the most talented midfielder in premier league if it wasn't for his injuries and same for rosicky
+Johan bernström RICARDO KAKA in his first days in Real Madrid he was owning everyone
Abou Diaby could have been as good as or even better than Yaya Toure
Adam johnson trumps all of these put together.
He ruined his career by shagging 12 year olds.
really? he was pedo? :(
+RoMario Salmon yep he's from Boldon and plays for Sunderland so it's not a surprise
max sanderson well he's not from boldon he's from easington lane which is Durham I think and wtf had it got to do with SAFC as if they breed peado ya gonk
+honeycomb I recall the Sunderland fans cheering on Johnson singing he shags who he wants after he was charged. Bad crack that. Sunderland is full of them clearly
There are plenty of great players that ruined their careers after having had great careers until then: Maradona, Ronaldinho, George Best, Cantona, Kaká, Owen, etc...
the matt letissier one is a bit harsh
club loyalty doesn't mean a ruined career
In that case let's also give pl top goal scorer Alan Shearer a shout for "ruining" his career
why is Matt le tissier on here he had one of the best careers you could ask and it just shows loyalty
So Le Tis ruined his career by showing loyalty?
+Ciaran Johnson I guess you can say Messi, totti ect ruined talents
I'm not defending them but they meant he could have one titles but I agree with you loyalty is everything.
ano, its a good thing and players should look up to him for that as well
+Magnus Nicol and stevie g
You missed Adam johnson
You deserve 15 likes
Artem Milevskiy: At one point teams like Porto offered 25 million euros for him but the party life, alcohol, weird decisions(he once showed up for a new coach presentation in a bathrobe) made him a running joke and a cautionary tale for young footballers,he is now 31 and plays for Concordia, a club fighting to stay up in the Romanian league.
Where is Balotelli?
+Fodu Namputu Don't see that happening. I think he's done.
Götze
+Fodu Namputu I hope he does
+Black German gotze did anything but ruin his career
+Black German you salty he left dortmund
I wouldn't say nasri's career is "ruined" hes still winning 180k a week
lol what? from being a talented player from a bench warmer... that is what you called ruined. and he's a very poor professional.
+Bilal Iqbal gone from 0 trophies at Arsenal to double Prem winner + another domestic trophy...really "ruined career"??? haha
"Now 1.5kg overweight..."
Is that even a thing?
Yeah
Exactly 1.5kg is nothing.
+Jamie sutton In sports it is
Adriano was once my favorite players. I saw him as the next Brazilian Ronaldo. It's sad he could not get back to form after his father died.
Most of these were Arsenal players lol.Good list, but there were alot of players that are more suitable to be inthis list
+Aditya Udayana Who did we miss?
I thought you should at least have added Michael Owen, Quaresma, Saviola.
Other names include: Denilson (Arsenal), Kerlon, Stan Collymore, Recoba.
While we are at it, could you do another video of 10 Most versatile players? (position wise)
+Aditya Udayana Quaresma has revived himself recently though getting back into the Portugal squad
+Long Live Sergio That's true but he could've been even better if he played like this when he was younger and moved to Real Madrid
dude... you do not understand. Quaresma was said to be way better than ronaldo...
Top 10 worst player and manager relationships

+BLASTER9 Tevez is playing for Boca Juniors, how he has destroyed his career?
yeah he start partying and caught drinking pepsi while being sponsored by coca cola, then he lost his money
Le tissier had a fantastic career. What's up with that?
We just felt he could have achieved more. He was loyal and we respect him for that.
+Football Daily fair enough
+Football Daily Nani should be in it
+Football Daily
That makes no sense at all.

I'm early let me think of a joke ... Man city's defence
+John O callaghan POW WOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
What club do you support
City fan here. Let me think of a comeback...! Nope I'm sorry, you're right.
What!!You know who they used in defence?
Manchester City used their reserves yesterday so it doesn't mean shit.
Le Tissier didn't ruin his career -_-
so matt le tissier, who chose loyalty over moving somewhere big, in your opinion, wasted his career? Unsub.
+Nick Morales it's an opinion. deal with it.
+Tesla_Ray_Gun21 It's a shit opinion. He has every right to challenge it. Tiss had a great career no matter what this narrow minded video says
+Tesla_Ray_Gun21 He gave his own opinion aswell. Lets not be biased here
Le Tiss?
+Simon Farrell He looked a real talent! A shame really for him and football.
+Ziyn M I would be busting my ass trying to get back on top, even if the top is league 2 in England.
Not trying to be rude or anything but since when his being loyal to your club ruining your career? Agreed
+Kevin A He didn't win anything. Which i think they are trying to say. all those players u mentioned won plenty of titles and cups.
Totti has not won anything meaningful with his club
+Juan Correa Yes, but that doesn't make Totti any less of a great player. Trophies aren't everything my friend.
+Kevin A yes they are. No trophies = no results. What does a player do without throphies? Sounds to me like a wannabe loser and mediocre. Great player wins trophies ;)
I hate Samir Nasri- but if earning 175k a week is "ruining" your career then I hope I ruin my career very soon.
ahahah nice
Matt Le Tissier? What a load of rubbish. He didn't ruin his career, he stayed in Southampton because he wanted to, he was never interested in big money of fame. This is utter nonsense.
Well it's well known up here in Scotland that gazza had whiskey at half time and ran almost the full length of the pitch to score against Aberdeen😂
+Cameron Gunn Legend!

matt le tissier don't belong here
+Joakim Joakim It's a disgrace! Le Tissier should be praised for resisting the temptation of money in favour of loyalty!
I agree
+Jonathan Stummer matt could be number 1 in a top 10 loyalty list
+Joakim Joakim em Totti tho
You missed Ronaldinho for sure
they didnt miss Ronaldinho, he is one of the best to grace the field of football

Why the fuck is Le God in this? He's one of the premier league greats.
Loyalt doesn't equal wasted talent
disliked because matt le tissier is in the list and I'm not even a saints supporter. lol
Where in the hell is Robinho
Hahahaahaha you included Matt Le God in this?! Are you serious Football Daily.. The bloke was a genius.. He inspired Iniesta for Christ sakes😂
+MrJordanowen Good point!
+MrJordanowen as a saints fan this annoys me a hell of a lot
Le Tissier was what is what is rare in football nowadays.. He is loyal! Only thing he messed up was choosing England as his national team. he ruined his career when he was at sunderland wasnt it
Tips for using Adriano on old school game Pro Evolution Soccer 6:
Get the ball, shoot the ball, celebrate.
There are many more names to be listed. One that comes to my mind is that of Balotelli, who had some brilliant moments (especially the semi-finale in 2012 against Germany) but mostly excels in strange behavior on and off the pitch.
Really, Le God, then why not Gerrard?
+Divya21Raj Hi

I have absolutely no idea why Matt Le Tissier is on this list.
He was a one club player at Southampton for over a decade, scoring a 3 figure number of goals, as well as making 500+ appearances for Saints with loyalty and distinction
Matt le Tissier came from my home island, Guernsey. I've met him and he trained me at my football club but he didn't ruin his career by being loyal to Southampton. He said he only stayed because Southampton was close to Guernsey and he wanted to stay near his family.
Where is Balotelli, seriously.
+Shin Gattsu It is. He is the biggest prick in football
mario ballotilli soon to join this list.
very soon
So true.......He had a pretty good Euro 2012 but what a flop since then.
le tissier never ruined his career cos he stayed at Southampton? if that's the case then so did Zanetti, Giggs, Scholes, Xavi, Totti, Gerrard and Iniesta.
I think it's mainly die to he could have won a lot of trophies and made it into any squad in the world at the time but staying isn't ruining it bit I see what you meant but people like xavi and iniesta won lots of trophies
+MessiAh Beige Well he stayed at a poor club his whole career.
Marian Barba that didn't ruin his career tho did it you fucking mong
Mario Balotelli is well on his way to making this list.
yep
Staying at Southampton for his entire career has ensured that in 50 years, 100 years time Matt Le Tissier will be remembered as a Premier League legend and one club man of the 90s. If he is on the list for not winning a trophy then he sits alongside Tom Finney.

where is antonio CASSANO!!!???
No Freddy Adu?
You forgot about Fábio Paím. He was with Cristiano Ronaldo in Sporting Lisbon's youth teams, and was a great technical player then. But after going to Chelsea very young, he stopped taking practice seriously. He is only 28 now, and is without a football club.
Nice vid bra
Le Tissier should not be on the list!
I was surprised ar Adrian Mutu
at*
+soccer is borring He could've been one of the best players in the world if it wasn't for his brainless behaving
What u mean gazza ruined his career he is England's greatest player of all time
+British-Aussie Lover he is the best striker but gazza could tackle, win 50/50 and score wonder goals for example euro 96 against Scotland
+AirrGaming gazza is class can do everything I'm a Newcastle fan and I love shearer but Charlton was better then shearer for England
Bobby Moore's the greatest in my opinion
he would make the best 11 but not best ever. not consistent enough
+RyanBennett FC nobody is gonna agree I'm a Newcastle fan that other kid is a united fan and you're a West Ham fan
Matt didnt ruin his career. He became a club legend.
The fact that Gascoigne ended-up at Rangers confirms it's right he's included in this video !
MICHU????????????
Nice to meet you
Bonkers nominating Le Tissier, man who displayed loyalty and jad a good career at his beloved club
Poor lad was just left to count the enormous amount of money he was being paid for doing sod all.
one of them stomach injuries only kfc family buckets can fix ;)
KFC buckets and falling over drunk in nightclubs.
My dad knows one of Alan Shearer's old teammates. Neil Maddison.
If you want to include Le Tissier you may as well include Shearer too. Despite being considered one of, if not the, best strikers in Premier League history he would have won a lot more than his single Premier League trophy with Blackburn if he had taken up the chance to join Man U instead of staying loyal to Newcastle.
When Paul gazza was at Rangers he was crap, but on his five Rangers game, he was crap, the manager told him to get some alcohol, and scored a hatrick
matt lee tissier is a legend in brunei...all the old folks talk about him all the time..hes a legend...
Absolutely loved Adriano, he's the reason inter milan are my second team, reason for his downfall was that his father (who he was very close with) passed and he couldn't deal with it
le tissier didnt ruin his career, he just proved that some players believe in loyalty still
indeed
absolutely! This list is shit!
Is it weird, that id love to hang out with all these guys. They sound like the ultimate hang crew!
torres and balotelli should be in this video too
Stan Collymore should have been on this list instead of Matt Le Tissier.
Collymore never fulfilled his potential and seemed to feature in the front pages of newspapers rather than the back pages
Ronaldinho Gaucho deserves to be on this list. He was all the hype back in the days and then suddenly he seemed to fall off the face of the Earth...
I absolutely agree with No 1 Adriano. A very strong player who lost himself. In the very next future another one will be included in the top 10: Mario Ballotelli
Matt Le Tissier was a great one club player and he was not motivated by money like many footballers today.
And being respected
Denilson after his world record transfer to real betis
Criticize Delph, Sterling etc for no loyalty
Criticize Matt le Tissier for being loyal
Matt Le Tissier is still one of the best modern English players and one of the main reasons is his loyalty , take him out your findings are fake !
Matt didn't ruin his career. He just didn't reach his full potential.
