PK grossed 600 crores and has become all time highest grossing movie of India. How this has happened, there are 20 crores muslims in India which are less than 20% of India population. It means Hindus must have seen this movies and have made it a BOX OFFICE HIT.
My religion is Hindu but i didn't find any kind of insult for hindu in this movie. Whatever it has shown it is the reality of the film. Learn to accept the fact 🙂

These are baseless reasons . Being a Hindu the only scene that somewhat shook me a bit was the part where aamir khan makes a shivlinga tilak using his pan . This part was a disrespectful considering he was practically using spit in something considered religious. Save this , all other portions are justified . This scene went overboard.
He was not making tilak with pan to shivling, actually he was only coloring the top portion of a pyramid like stone with red color and show that even if there is no instance of God in the stone still people started worshipping it and started emptying their wallets. It was just the business of Fear as he told. God will never do bad to his children also a very important thing to keep in mind is that we are the one who begs in front of God for money and our livelihood and when we get the money by our hard work and God's blessings then who are we to give money to God.

It would have been too much as showing religions of all faith and making sure the line is never crossed to piss off people is a daunting task....they barely had one or two scenes kind of over doing comic on Hinduism and look at the backlash...I personally think the way Raju and Aamir have molded religions and cross border issues in just one movie through the eyes of an alien who knows nothing and take no sides is just....brilliant !

Guys, if some one lost his/her belonging which is very important/valuable to him/her then they use to call/pray to their own worshipping god but Here in PK he's(Aamir) being shown as alien as he doesn't know who is the actual god and who can help him to get his valuable belonging back, as there are numbers of religion(God's) available and these are all made by human only not by god directly. This has been shown in the movie that, only humans have directed the alien to several gods to get his valuable thing back by these processes. This world is a wonderful creation of god but, any one can say, our/my god has made this world!!! So, all religions are human made and all features shown in the movie are practical. All these types of stopping the screening of the movie are not logical. I, myself enjoyed the film and thought it is practical & it has logic. so, I give 100% support to the film as I am a HINDU. In the film "PK" is just a alien character who is not from our earth, and neither he belongs to of our any religion or country. In the whole film it is shown that how people go to imposter saints(of all religions) ,. and waste the money in the name of god. So first ban such saints(of all religions) who are diverting people. And in the movie it is show "cattle feeding scene", which is not at all wrong if we treating it as just animal or a god with out any expectation. Its a well known fact that Hindu religion follows idol worship. There are reasons and explanation for it. You can Google and find out yourself. Hinduism allows you to explore various paths that can help you to reach the almighty God. Thats why Buddhism and Jainism originated and co-existed in India. When you make a film like PK and make mockery of Hindu religion for idol worship (remember the scene -- small idol/ big idol) and then think that you are trying to educate the people then you are making a huge blunder. The Hindu saints have spent their whole life educating the people and getting rid of ill practices. You cannot achieve such a feat with one movie. Instead you end hurting the sentiments of the people. Some people have compared this movie with O My God (OMG) movie. I have watched both the movies. In OMG its against the preachers/ babas who try to misled people in the name of God. There was nothing against the God itself. In the end Paresh Rawal an atheist shown in the movie starts believing in God. In PK its not only against the fake babas but against the existence of God itself. Its against the various Hindu practices. A practice (however crude/stupid) it may seem to an intelligent mind should not be bothered with as long as it is harmless because there are sentiments associated with it. Someone may be worshiping a street side stone and that may be beneficial for him/her then so be it. Just leave the person alone as long as he/she is not forcing you to do the same. In the end, I would like to urge Rajkumar Hirani that if he feels that he is doing a great job/ srvice to humanity by touching sensitive religious matters then he should continue to make such films -- trying to educate other religions as well. We have some many religions in this country that we can easily have sequels such as PK-2, PK-3, and so on.

Hypocrisy was not just on-screen. There was off-screen hypocrisy too. With all due respect to Aamir Khan because of his patriotism and social-awareness and service, there is one aspect to point out in case of PK. During the censor screening of the film, the Muslim and Christian religious experts were contact to get a clearance from them so as to not hurt the feelings of respective communities. But a Hindu religious expert was not consulted. Why was a Hindu guru not consulted even just for the sake of formality? Isn't it hypocrisy? Isn't it taking Hindus for granted because they have high level of tolerance? Can this be explained? Because this is reality. The movie is a story.
May be there should be a film which tells the story of these noble men(BJP RSS VHP Bajrang dal) whom every other person and the whole world conspire to hurt but they didn't retaliate and remain calm and showed the world threats like love jihad,ghar wapsi etc for which they fought using non violence and made world a better place.

Those who really know Lord Shiva would really support this film. Lord Shiva is not in one form, his form is infinite. This movie does not say that God does not exist. In the film "PK" is just a alien character who is not from our earth, and neither he belongs to of our any religion or country. In the whole film it is shown that how people go to imposter saints(of all religions) ,. and waste the money in the name of god. So first ban such saints(of all religions) who are diverting people. And in the movie it is show "cattle feeding scene", which is not at all wrong if we treating it as just animal or a god with out any expectation. But if u feeding it bcz some one saint(of any religion) has told to feed it for some reason, than its completely he is misguiding you. ( for eg : if any saint tells you.. go to some far place and feed a cattle, than your dad or mom or son will get well soon from some illness. than that saint is imposter and fake)( a good saint will tell to stay with patient and try to save the patient). god is our strength, Our Hope, Our Energy to do something in life.

Its a well known fact that Hindu religion follows idol worship. There are reasons and explanation for it. You can Google and find out yourself. Hinduism allows you to explore various paths that can help you to reach the almighty God. Thats why Buddhism and Jainism originated and co-existed in India.
When you make a film like PK and make mockery of Hindu religion for idol worship (remember the scene -- small idol/ big idol) and then think that you are trying to educate the people then you are making a huge blunder. The Hindu saints have spent their whole life educating the people and getting rid of ill practices. You cannot achieve such a feat with one movie. Instead you end hurting the sentiments of the people. Some people have compared this movie with O My God (OMG) movie. I have watched both the movies. In OMG its against the preachers/ babas who try to misled people in the name of God. There was nothing against the God itself. In the end Paresh Rawal an atheist shown in the movie starts believing in God. In PK its not only against the fake babas but against the existence of God itself. Its against the various Hindu practices. A practice (however crude/stupid) it may seem to an intelligent mind should not be bothered with as long as it is harmless because there are sentiments associated with it. Someone may be worshiping a street side stone and that may be beneficial for him/her then so be it. Just leave the person alone as long as he/she is not forcing you to do the same.
In the end, I would like to urge Rajkumar Hirani that if he feels that he is doing a great job/ srvice to humanity by touching sensitive religious matters then he should continue to make such films -- trying to educate other religions as well. We have some many religions in this country that we can easily have sequels such as PK-2, PK-3, and so on.

Hypocrisy was not just on-screen. There was off-screen hypocrisy too. With all due respect to Aamir Khan because of his patriotism and social-awareness and service, there is one aspect to point out in case of PK. During the censor screening of the film, the Muslim and Christian religious experts were contact to get a clearance from them so as to not hurt the feelings of respective communities. But a Hindu religious expert was not consulted. Why was a Hindu guru not consulted even just for the sake of formality? Isn't it hypocrisy? Isn't it taking Hindus for granted because they have high level of tolerance? Can this be explained? Because this is reality. The movie is a story.

Those who really know Lord Shiva would really support this film. Lord Shiva is not in one form, his form is infinite. This movie does not say that God does not exist. The last quote is here "You cannot protect the God who created the infinite planet, you sit on the only minor planet then how would you protect the infinite God who created the infinite planet ?" i.e. God is everywhere or infinite. So this film supported spiritually.
