Love the shoutout to Keisha Castle-Hughes and Yalitza Aparicio, two indigenous actresses who got lead actress Oscar nominations. Love that she acknowledges that they did it first, and specifies that she is the first Native American to do so. She highlights the history that’s been made while highlighting history still being made, and that’s just one reason why she’s such an awesome person. ♥️

This is awesome, what Hollywood should be producing, real stories and real people. Congratulations

Lily should have been honored top spot. Keep giving Natives opportunities to shine and educate by being here.

Native Americans? They still exist in america? Seems this channel never mentions them.

Now that you mention it, mainstream news media doesn't cover Native Americans in general. This is wrong.

5:00 you know what's interesting? as i watched the movie, several times, i got the feeling that part of #Mollie zmission was to save #Ernest from his uncle. even ernie's uncle asks him whether or not he's 'slow,' and if Mollie saw in him a certain vulnerability, i expect she would have seen in herself a certain strength above ernie's and the connections, as well, to help save him and them/Osage. i don't think i'm reaching, i've seen women do even that very thing for someone they loved regardless of what they suspected of their true intentions. it's a thing one may do once you realize exactly how 'human' most of us are...meaning a greater degree of cowardice in us than was ever intended.

So why Mollie didn't warn Ernest ?

I thought she was good in the film but the performance was nothing mind blowing.
Also, they kinda stole what was supposed to be her story so Leo and DeNiro could chew the scenery.

I don't think this film about some innocent tribe being killed for no other reason than some blind hatred. I do not know much but the tribe then was playing with fire.. I mean ... Oil... liquid gold.... it automatically attracts bad bad people and they should have expected some bad things to happen as a result.

Yup. Blame the Indians. Same old same old racist comments. They deserved it.

This could be the dumbest comment on this app. They weren’t killed out of hatred, it was for greed and money. Also if you have anything of wealth are you supposed to expect someone to take it from under you? You’d just live in fear all your life waiting for someone to strike?

@@jaidynr87 well. Thanks for your comment but your comment exactly explains what my ' dumb ' comment means in the same vein
