It bothers me when the narrator says, "it's purpose is to kill." No. It's goal is to survive. It has no other choice, like other obligate carnivores. It's not like the cheetah can go to McDonalds, but chooses just "to kill."
Strike rate of 50%..that's awesome. But they get so tired after that they need 30 minutes to catch their breath. Any hyena(s) nearby take adavantage of that fact and steal their kill.

I was just kinda thinking about the evolution bit. And as I sat and marveled in complete disbelief at the variety and spontaneity of the world's animals and predators and their abilities, I thought... there is no way all of these fascinating and distinctive animals spawned from one microorganism...
