Koreans demand a lot from their government and the government delivers. There is a mutual trust, unfortunately here in the US it does not matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat, there is no trust left anymore.

I've seen several posts like this and I'm still wondering where you guys are posting from. Oregon as a state is still closed with public spaces closed as well. Everyone I know also remains indoors and working from home. And stores that I've seen only allow a number of people indoors

Closing everything down is just delaying the spread not stopping it and stomping it out like Korea has done. Also with other dumb states re-opening, they're just going to screw the rest of us.
i'm simultaneously proud of korea and madly jealous. korea can re-open because they did everything right. the US is beginning to re-open because it's doing everything wrong. our second wave is gonna be BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD, and we're not going to even come close to korea's level of normal for a long long time. it's kind of what happens when you let an idiot run the show but hey, that aint my fault.
The data is actually suggesting this virus isn't nearly as bad as they originally expected. You can't expect to keep a country shutdown forever when it's really only effecting older people with preexisting conditions. Those people who are more likely to have issues should definitely be staying home and taking precautions. The rest of the world should be washing their hands and keeping safe distance but continue living. Ask yourself, why haven't the essential workers been dying in droves if this virus is as bad as they hyped it up to be? Grocery store employees, restaurants, healthcare workers etc haven't been any more affected by this than people who aren't working. We've followed all the rules up to this point but I have to say it's getting a bit ridiculous. It's not ok to prohibit anyone from working in my opinion. They can't print money fast enough to make up for the devastation it's causing. Wash your hands everyone!

As an essential worker in the UK I can tell you that our healthcare workers and members of other essential industries have been getting sick and have been dying. Maybe you just haven’t been paying attention.

Hi Joan - Being in London where Lockdown is still in effect, seeing places like South Korea slowly going back to normal is reassuring. I admire the countries that have managed the pandemic effectively, We are all in this together and I hope that we all are able to go back to normal soon in the next coming months. Even though a lot of precautionary measures are still needing to be taken, it must feel good to be able to re-engage with others in a face to face setting. It feels strange but nice to see people resuming to normal activities. In NYC, even if restaurants and subways reopen, I am not sure I would feel confident enough to go out in the same way as before. Being around people in the grocery store for a few min is already enough to send me into a panic attack because no one respects social distancing rules.

It's good to hear and see the situation in Korea has gotten better.. Hopefully, Malaysia is the same too because the number of new cases here also has decreased a lot..But still the total of new cases in a week is more than hundred...Got to be more patient for the quarantine end..

It feels strange but nice to see people resuming to normal activities. In NYC, even if restaurants and subways reopen, I am not sure I would feel confident enough to go out in the same way as before. Being around people in the grocery store for a few min is already enough to send me into a panic attack because no one respects social distancing rules.
Glad to see that everything’s getting better there! Quarantine here in my country keeps getting extended. Hope to see Abe in your vlog soon 😊

It's good to hear and see the situation in Korea has gotten better.. Hopefully, Malaysia is the same too because the number of new cases here also has decreased a lot..But still the total of new cases in a week is more than hundred...Got to be more patient for the quarantine end..
