About the symbol: I previously watched a video about this story and I found an informative comment. The commenter said that in Voodoo, this is a summoning symbol. A practitioner would create the symbol as an entry point for the summoned spirit. You can see that the symbol represents an arrow to direct, and the spirit is represented by the wavy line that follows the arrow. With the similarities between Voodoo and Santeria, I gather that the use of this symbol must be one of the overlapping practices. This was a spectacular episode! I’m unsure why your channel hasn’t been introduced to me before now, as this is the content so consume on TH-cam, but I am so glad that it was THIS episode that showed up. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Truly spectacular. And yes, I fully believe the Moffit family was tortured for years by this entity. My family and I lived in a haunted house for over 11 years. The very first house my parents ever bought, having been military, we rented because you never knew when my dad would be transferred somewhere else. He finally retires after serving 24 years, they finally buy their first home, and it ends up haunted 🤦♀️ I have many stories, but thankfully nothing like what this family went through (well, we did find a saw blade on the counter that was really old once). Anyway, it’s easy to believe if you’ve experienced it. But I understand the critics. It’s hard to imagine these things can occur, unless it’s in your face and ALL OTHER explanations have failed. Thank you again! Now, off to watch more of your videos!
I am so glad that I found and subscribed to this channel omg the stories are incredible and the way you tell them are just amazing ❤ I have to say this channel is now one of my favorites
Found your channel a couple of days ago, rarely do I ever put on notifications for uploads but I've made an exception for you. Honestly some of the best presented and interesting content on TH-cam.
Incredible story and very well presented and told, as always. The thing that makes me suspicious, is Deborah moving into her in laws house although there were two properties she could have lived in. The story of Bill junior's being afraid of being alone because of his heart condition has holes in it too, at the end of the day he now had a wife to take care of him, yet still chose to live with his parents. I loved my mother in law dearly but could never of lived with her. Deborah also seemed a tad complacent about the whole thing. Makes me wonder if she, Deborah, was in this up to her neck. Thank you again for all your work. Love your channel
I’m not saying I believe or don’t believe, but Occam's razor comes to mind here. All things being equal, was this supernatural, or was it a family member or some other person who was writing on the mirrors, leaving knives on chairs and so on? Maybe they thought it would lead to a movie…who knows? I’m sure there are a lot of facts surrounding these occurrences that we’re not aware of. Great presentation though…you kept me interested the entire time.
Thanks Scott. I think you make reasonable points, but the bit that confuses me is that if they did think it would lead to a movie deal...why didn't they talk about it back when it happened. Instead, they had all these photographs of a trashed house, but they hide it from everybody for over 30 years. If they wanted to go for the Amityville style movie/ book deal, why didn't they do it back then? Anyway, I appreciate you watching, and I'm so glad you found it interesting. This is my first time doing one long story in one single video, so it's encouraging to hear people enjoyed it and didn't get bored. Phew!
Another fabulous story, told brilliantly as always, by you, Peter! You're so good at this, I do hope you're feeling better and better about your decision to move from a podcast to in front of the camera. I note something about all these 'demonic' hauntings, and that is that there is always an element of religion to it. Energies are particularly attracted to the religious, or those who have at least had a religious upbringing. Satanism is inverted Christianity, in that it shares belief in angels and devils but perverts the good. At the heart of both is always some anthropological figure. In short, my money is on energetic projection from someone in the house - to which a powerful energy attached itself, communicating in a manner the focus would understand. Huge, labrinthine subject.
I’m so glad I discover your page today. You have me hooked I’ve been into this for many many years. This is the only time I felt scared, but I pressed the bell for you.
You, Sir, are a most excellent storyteller. You kept me listening the whole time! Thank you! By the way… it seems that nowadays people either love the Warrens and their work or think the Warrens, along with their work, was a sham. But, I promise, back in the day if you or your family was having these experiences, you would have thought they were a Godsend as they pulled into your driveway. The reason being is because back then, there WAS no one else who would take you seriously, except the Warrens! It’s not like it is today, where all this is so freely spoken of and there’s ghost hunters and the like. Not to mention their documentation on the subject matter is invaluable.
Wow, thank you! I was worried that people might get bored with such a long episode. I’m encouraged to hear you, and others, enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know.
I love your videos, not just because of your voice and the atmosphere which you create, but also your knowledge. The "Prince" part was interesting, and I was impressed that you knew the biblical relevance in that high ranking demons were known as princes.

That one wild story. You did a great job putting it all together. Great Video.
Excellent job on the long video. Keep up the Excellent work 👏
Thanks for that, Nat! Ooo, that rhymes.
I listened to Deborah Moffitt in an interview. Had me glued.
34:34 The statue on the bed is St. Jude Thaddeus, Saint of Impossible Causes, FYI. :)
Seems appropriate ;)
I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga. I even worked my first job off of Archibald. Ive never heard of this story. Super cool
What an unusual story. And you presented it with such passion. You are a fine story teller! Thank you. x
What an interesting series, thanks for the storytelling, you're an interesting and compelling narrator.
I appreciate you saying that! Thanks!
I love your long form vids. Thank you for the work.
I'm such a sucker for your wonderfully campy channel. Thanks for this.
Campy. ha ha! You're very welcome!
@@IntoTheFog sorry it's not that campy.
Kinda is, in places. I told my wife your comment and she spat out her tea laughing. ha ha! Thanks for watching.
To answer your question, yes I believe the story. You told it splendidly well!!
Was so happy to see such a long episode, waiting until dark to watch
Thanks Freya. Hope you enjoy it.
Phew!
What a fascinating case! I had never heard of this one before. Btw, you are such a good story teller!
Why, thank you @Mamma_zoot that's kind of you to say.

Just home from wrk, winter in chch New Zealand, dark and gloomy outside, perfect night for my fav channel. Uhuuuuuuu,!🎉
How lucky am I. 😂❤
An amazing story! You are a great narrator.
Thank you so much! So glad you liked it.
I read A Deadly Haunting and have heard the retelling of this story countless times. I think your retelling is my favorite
I'm flattered. Thanks!
You've done a fantastic job summerizing a fascinating account. Thank you!
excellent presentation of this classic case, thank you.
Thank you kindly!
I'm listening to this right now -- keeping me on the edge of my seat!
I have heard this story before - but this is a better telling. Love the explanation of the Santeria faith.
Thank you Ashley. And thanks for your point about the Santeria bit.
I’m so glad I discover your page today. You have me hooked I’ve been into this for many many years. This is the only time I felt scared, but I pressed the bell for you.
i had the entity on video many yrs ago. very good and terrifying movie. what made it even more terrifying is that it ia movie based of fact.
That was a scary film. With a brilliant musical score by Charles Bernstein.
@@IntoTheFog that was brilliant peter mate. really enjoyed it. personally i believe that this case was legit.
You are an amazing storyteller! I let your stories play in the background and I still get cold chills listening! I love it.
I'm new to this channel, loving it so far, great story telling 😀
Love the feature length video :)
Absolutely fascinating. I really enjoyed how long and detailed that episode was. Thank you, Peter
Hooray! Someone pronounces "Ouija Board" correctly 😂
I love your videos, not just because of your voice and the atmosphere which you create, but also your knowledge. The "Prince" part was interesting, and I was impressed that you knew the biblical relevance in that high ranking demons were known as princes.
It would be interesting to hear what a graphologist would say about the handwriting. It's looks rounded and female, and not at all what you'd expect from a Prince of Hell. Or maybe the soap cramps His style.
You did a marvelous job on this story. I do believe this happened to the moffet family.
What a star you are Peter!🤯🤯
Right back atcha!
Wow, what a chilling story. I'm new to Mr. Laws stories and I can't get enough. So far I've listened to the terror below one, about the spooky lady in the apt. below and this one. Now off to the next one. Thank you.
