Santa brought me this splitter ! I can not waite to try this bad-boy out. We have a Solo stove and this is going to help big time. Your video really shows its usefulness ! Thanks
Juniper splits easily. The worst part is cutting it because the shaggy bark collects blow sand which quickly dulls a chainsaw chain. Juniper sure does smell good when it burns.
Looks like a copy of the patented Kindling Cracker firewood splitter invented in NZ by Ayla Hutchinson. That has a validated patent in USA, Canada, China, Japan, NZ, Australia and Europe...
I was looking at those splitters too. There is a difference between the two of them. The biggest difference I can see is the splitter part, in the middle on the Kindling Cracker, is UPward, not downward like this one. Also the price is difference and the material that the Kindling Cracker is made from Cast Iron, but this one is Metal.

I'm liking what I see, but I wonder how that would work on green pieces, or oak/maples.
Great Review And Thanks For Sharing My Friend!
Thank you! Blessings from Arizona
Very nice I like it
Directions say to use wood with less than 20% moisture content so forget it with fresh cut Oak unless you have it very well dried out.
