I saw this little girl on Ukrainian adoption site and fell in love with her. You guys seem like a dream family for her, I so hope she finds happiness with you. In the video on the Ukrainian site she talked about wanting to be a mouse, so sweet and in such incredible need to loving family. I believe she is in Zaporoshye, city with the giant nuclear plant that Russians bombed. I have donated to the their orphanage for the younger kids and they said as on now they aren't evacuating. If I were you, I would write an email to the orphanage and ask for ways to wire them money. They will need money in case of evacuating. Also, offer them to help find non-for profits to get them any additional funding in case of evacuating. I think of them non-stop. My heart break for them.

March 19th, 2022 and still no update on the little girl or her whereabouts. I really hope that she's okay and that she was able to go to her family safely.

Theres also the fact there is a WAR going on. It's not gonna be easy to get the girl on a plane safely. The amount of times there was supposed to be a cease fire to let people get evacuated and they all got shot down is crazy. Russia isn't gonna stop to let a little girl leave if they won't even follow through on a cease fire. Even if they could "expedite" the process it's probably more of actually getting her out of there.

Ukrainian military tries to help people whenever they can and they are slowly getting ppl out but we are trying to bring them to US. I’m so sorry. Yesterday I was at the dog shelter for my appointment to adopt a dog that I had tried to adopt earlier this past weekend. It wasn’t until I got to that appointment in the afternoon that I was told she was adopted earlier that morning. I was happy she was adopted…but My heart just sank 😢. I can’t imagine if that was for a daughter.
Was the appointment just an adoption appointment in general or specifically for that dog? If it was specifically for her that’s weird that they would keep your appointment then say she was already adopted..

As a transracial adoptee myself, you really shouldn’t speak on what you don’t about adoption. Being taken from your home country for one is traumatic. Go follow some transracial adoptees. Also adoption doesn’t give us a better life it gives us a different one.

There was an update a year ago. Margarita made it to a neighboring country and they're keeping good contact. Adoptions were at that time on hold so they were still waiting.
This is so heartbreaking... Lord, I lift up all the residents in Ukraine, and pray for swift and safe transport for the children like this, and if it's your will, that this girl get to come live with this family who obviously loves her! Hi I don't know if this family is back in contact with this little girl but I'm from country bordering with Ukraine and I know that all orphanages were evacuated countries like Poland Slovakia Moldova Hungary. So if they can't get in touch with her maybe try look for her in this countries. I know it's not much help and it's month later but I hope hope that you can find her

I heard about three orphanages today that are trying to move to Germany but the Ukrainians police at the border wouldn’t let them go 😢 I’ve always had a heart for orphans, and if she showed up in Prague, I’d try to find a way to get her home to you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Praying God will make a way.
That's awesome. The first step starts here in US with gathering proper docs and doing a home study. This part of adoption can take months. So, you can get started on it and by the time Ukraine starts reviewing adoption applications you will be ready. Hold on to that dream and it will come true!

Let’s hope that these people don’t just give up on her if she has behavioral issues from the trauma she endured. That’s why Russia banned us from adopting their orphans.
There is a season and a time for every thing under the sun and God makes all things beautifull in His time, (1)God used them for a season to show that little girl what a real family is like and (2) what true love looks like God alone knows best His ways and thoughts are higher than ours as the heavens is higher than the earth, I hope she is well and that they will get to legally make her part of their family🙏
I hat to say this but there are multiple cases were people host and plan on adopting kids from around ukrain and such and they just never get adopted. There is actually a documentary someone made about their experience on TH-cam. They were from Ireland.
Many families in Italy are struggling with the same thing. Their potential adoptive children are there and they can't do anything, not even travel by car to Ukraine and pick them up themselves because they don't know where they are (some ophans are sent to Romania, many to Poland, many haven't left Ukraine yet). It must be so hard :(
Sadly this is the case for hundreds of Ukraine kids. These host families are begging the government to grant these kids sepcial emergency visas to they can come back. A lot of the kids were also in process of being adopted by their host families and so they are desperate for their kids to come home. There is also sooo many surrogate moms with babies over there as well. That the legal parents here in the states (all over world as well) are desperate for their babies and scared for their lives
This kind of situation arises when bureaucrats dig in they heels to assert their (self perceived) authority. Common sense says let this orphan live with a loving family free from the ravages of war.
It's another time to set a goal for the year, one need to set goals and take bold steps in achieving them. Remember success is not obtained overnight, you have to stop procrastinating and try what you have always wanted to improve in you're life and well being. Investment will take you closer to your dreams.

There are no courts open in Ukraine right now. What lawyers? What court rooms? Explain to me how this is even possible in a war zone?
