The 9870 STS is a great machine.
Beautiful day. Beautiful machinery.
I really enjoy your videos. You’ve got a few of people I know. Maybe someday you’ll catch me in the field, lol!
I enjoy going to Fulton county - seems like the southern part needed more rain. The Norfolk Southern railroad track is very nice to go to catch some fast-large train action.
@@libasan The whole area was droughty. Yields were really spotty. I’m on the clay SW of Blissfield, got lucky and had pretty fair yields. I heard some scary yield reports, though. Been lucky and caught a few “Power Moves” on the NS near Wauseon, too!
Nice machine 👍
It sure is!
Trucks always go from empty to full load in 2 minutes. Amazes me for some reason.
Woooooowwww very beautiful field 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Truck rolling in to the field and he was going to roll the tarp quick....and the rubber bunge cord was hooked on the eye let up front lol. That happens about a million times a year.

De verhouding: truck cabine en laadruimte is enigzins vreemd, men zou zeggen, daar kan wel meer lading achter hangen.
I believe case-iH had the rotary combine idea 1st. How did john deere get it?
New Holland had the 1st rotary units out on the early to mid 70s
For some time, combine harvesters used the conventional design, which used a rotating cylinder at the front-end which knocked the seeds out of the heads, and then used the rest of the machine to separate the straw from the chaff, and the chaff from the grain. The TR70 from Sperry-New Holland was brought out in 1975 as the first rotary combine. Other manufacturers soon followed, International Harvester with their 'Axial Flow' in 1977 and Gleaner with their N6 in 1979.
in 1958 jd built the first rotary combine it was xcc-1 and xcc-5,just look it up on youtube.
@@edniemyjski3303 they were experimental and absolute failures hence never commercially available, and John Deere still doesn't produce a rotary.
@@scottphillips4992 yes they do that’s what the combines are tpday
3500 acres by itself?
We did 2600 acres with a 7720 T2 no cart, and didn't think nothing of it back in 1989
alot of people in ohio have other jobs and such, 3500 for one combine is impressive. Back then you could make a living off like 80 acres
3500 is alot simpler if it's spread out over 6 different crops and harvest times. But 3500 acres of corn here would be 8-9 weeks...ending in December in the snow.
Is that 3500 acres of corn, or total acres?
Total acres, thanks for watching.
There is serious capacity in that auger wagon
