- I've been wanting to make an animatic for Epic for a long while now, and I'm so happy to finally have done so! The community surrounding Epic is so creative and inspiring, and I'm so glad to be a part of it. I've really never done anything this cinematic before, and it was a huge challenge, but I'm really impressed with how it turned out in the end!

something i noticed is, athena starts with saying warriors of the mind with one long held not for mind, but then when oddy joins in he adds an inflection to his, the next time she sings shes picked up the inflection :)

I don't get why people are mad at her though? Sure she said '"Turn off your emotions" after Polites died but I can't fully blame her since she only uses reason and not emotions after all Aphrodite holds no control over her. The only thing I hold against her is that when she tried to get Polyphemus killed, it pushed Odysseus' arrogance further. Girly literally tried to warn him because she knew not killing Polyphemus would result in Poseidon's anger. She just sucks at conveying what she feels and means imo.

Found time to watch this finally. This was definitely a passion project. The designs you gave Athena and Odysseus were incredible and had such great expressions put to them. I'm curious if we'll see any more of them later on but I'm very happy with this as is.

The drawing are os good
While the art and designs are on point, it does feel like it detracts from the point of the song to have Odysseus kill the boar with acrobatics and martial skill, rather than actually using his mind, such as in other common depictions where he either leads a small group in killing the boar, using tactics to bring it down, or by laying some sort of trap like having a planted spear and having the boar impale itself with its own momentum.
I was more implying he was able to bait the boar and outsmart it, particularly after the boar was able to knock the sword out of his hand
