I'm sure the gentleman would say, "I'm not a hoarder, I'm a collector." In many ways, I suppose we have to thank hoarders for the preservation of a lot of history. 🙂
it's almost as though hoarders repress the idea that they are mortal and there is no possible way they have enough time to get value out of all of the possessions.
Perhaps you should leave diagnosing to professionals. Allow me to be clearer....you linked hoarding to narcissism. Hoqrding is linked to anxiety disorder, You are spreading misinformation.
He didn't diagnose anyone. He said it is a narcissistic behavior but a hoarder isn't necessarily a narcissist. And it is true, hoarding is a narcissistic behavior. It is taking more things for yourself than you require, even though such things can provide value to others. It doesn't mean you are a narcissist if you hoard, but the behavior is wasteful and ultimately selfish.
1. You are correct, hoarding is linked to anxiety disorder. 2. Hoarding is also linked to narcissism, I inform myself on all Information before I make any type of content. 3. I never stated that hoarders are narcissists, all I said was some narcissists are hoarders but not all hoarders are narcissists.

This was after a big clean out…we got the mess off the floor before I filmed this
But yes he was definitely a collector of some very nice and expensive items
