What a blessing this teaching is! Every Christian who has fallen into the ditch of legalism should listen to this!!
A teaching that is desperately needed in the Church! Thank you DPM.

If Aaron hadn't built that cow, the law may have been not needed. It was given because of Transgression. Read Galatians.

Galatians also says that Peter was still trying to get Gentiles to become Jews. Which means the Law was still applicable in his eyes. Galatians also says that he (Paul) was only instructed to remember the poor, but the meeting in Jerusalem in Acts 15 says that he was instructed to teach certain dietary restrictions. Namely to abstain from blood, strangled animals and food sacrificed to idols. Paul ignores this in Rom14: 2&14/1Cor6:12/1Cor8 & 1Cor10:23. These doctrines were ultimately condemned in Revelation 2.

    Romans 3:23-24 KJVS
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
So how does grace justified us?
    Titus 2:11-14 KJVS
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
The Greek word translated into teaching in verse 12 it’s also translated into chasteneth in the next verse.
    Hebrews 12:6 KJVS
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
    Titus 3:4-7 KJVS
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, [5] Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; [6] Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; [7] That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Many folks seem to think the Law is finished, but if you look closer, the word “end” in the strongs from Romans 10:4 can mean aim or purpose. Christ didn’t end the Law with His death. He is the aim or purpose of the Law.
If He ended His own Law by His death, then we could all break His law daily now (covet, steal, murder, etc.) No, Christ did not end His Law. In fact, He said the Law & Prophets would not pass away until heaven and earth pass away. See Revelation 21 when this will happen.
Until then, Christ said those who do not obey the Law (of Moses) and teach others not to obey it will be least in the kingdom. Matthew 5.
Follows of Jesus obey God’s Law (love others, love God, honor their father and mother, keep the sabbath) because we love God, not to earn our salvation. John 14:15

@katielooez8811 Yes, it is true but you are quoting the Ten Commandments and that we fulfill when we obey Jesus Christ's two Commandments Matt.22:37-40.
We are under the new covenant where the law is written in our hearts and minds and if we submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will obey what pleases Father God.
If you don't get that, then perhaps you need to listen to Derek's two (there is one that follows on this one) teachings again because you may have missed the crux!!
