You can bypass bios limitations on simple mining and you can lower memory mv as well. I got the MSI Mech 5700. They're cheap and doesn't like oc on memory. So my settings for them is : Core : 1275 mhz Coremv : 750 Mem : 900 Memmv : 1300-1325 depends on gpu Gives about 52 mhs on eth hash My red devil rx 5700 xt 3xfans : This is my low overclock settings for hot summer days because I got 42 gpus in a grow tent and these cards are on top crashes at temps above 70c. Core : 1300 CoreMv : 775 Mem : 913 MemMv : 1325 53 mhs on eth hash I was able on colder days to reach 58mhs on higher oc profile. GL with your 5700s my dude :)
My personal experience with my Msi Evoke is stay away from that card in particular. I have mine flashed with the evoke XT bios and cant pusher the clocks barely at all. The back is a heat trap as well noted by a few Tubes such as Games Nexus. The Msi Mech seems to be a decent choice if you go that route.

they prolly just expect miners to know that navi cards arent fully supported on linux so u need the beta build which has dev kits instead of releases basically the only GPU control u would have without the beta would be fan control maybe maybe a lil more since ROCm updated for navi

you only need to plug in the 3 x 24 pin on the motherboard if you plan on having 19 gpu because most likely you will need more than 2, or 3 psu's for the 19 gpus.
What type of FANs do you use for your builds? What are the specs, power usage, how much airflow do they push (cfm)? Is that a fan controller I see in the front of the frame?
I keep reading a lot of comments by people running their 5700 XT's at 100W or more when it's one of those cards that appreciates a good undervolt (even for gaming). Remember that memory clock freqs are not super important compared VRAM freqs, so you can easily undervolt to ~750-800mV and 1300-1400MHz cclock with a stock VBIOS. That's 85W (612kH/J) with junction temps no higher than 45-60°C and at less than half the fan speed on a Sapphire Nitro+ (54Mh/s on PhoenixMiner).
I also learned about the beta from a random reddit post. You would think by now the Navi compatibility would be in a stable version. Works good tho. Totally buying a red devil 😈

Don't ever fully load 2x 8 pin connectors on one power cable, it will melt the connector at the PSU end. I have no idea why they even make dual 8 pin connectors off one cable. The pins get too hot and it will melt the plastic on the connector of the PSU end and can short and catch fire. It happened to a friend of mine.
Evga p2 1200 watts offer in pack 2x 8+8 pin cable.... And offer 4x 8 pin cables ... You can run 2 , 5700xt directly on them while remaining you can run 2 gpu by utilizing the 4x 8 pin cables .... Are you going to use splitters ........

Yeah I learned about the BETA version with my 5700's. I would go with the RED DEVIL !! If you do get a different 5700 try to get the Strix cards. I do believe they will keep up with the Red Devil !!
i currently have 2 their thicc 3's and an msi gaming x the msi gaming x fans are basically silent. the thiccs are loud but not 970 loud so no worries there. will also have a devil soon. both msi and asus thiccs run about 50 out the box and 55 with barely any oc, i havnt strapped or modded bios's as of yet so no reference other than videos iv seen of 60s, but thus far the devil seems to push the most out of the box. also, i have my power cranked down on the asus and msi cards all the way to 55 percent power, and cut my wattage almost in half, and lost .3 in hash rate. so not shabby at all.
Beter take your cables from G2 1300w PSUs (vga=8pin+6pin) and replace it with this with (vga=8pin) to have enought wires i tink will work :) and from this motherboard you can use bank A up to 7 gpus in your case 6, big pci-e slot and 6 litle ones, you will figure out when you see the mobo.

my ethernets have been failing on them i only have biostar tb250s tho dunno wth thats all about someone was complaining about nicehash overloading their routers with packets recently and i have been mining there

Hi Panda, thanks for sharing. I also have 2 x Asus TUF rx5700. I get aruound 51-52 Mh/s. However, after 50 degrees Celcius, GPU clock starts fluctuating, and Mh/s decreases significantly for both 2 cards. If I can get them cool enough by 75 % fans everything is cool. I think that 50 C is too low to GPU starts to decrease clockspeed. Is there a setting on Rodeon software or do I have to make BIOS thing to these cards. Thanks.

I have a question. I have 6 3060 ti and 2 850 corsair psu. I'm confused on how to wire it up. I bought the splitter to connect both psu together and connect the other end to the mobo but can i connect like 3 gpu/riser to psu1 and the other 3 gpu/riser to psu2? I don't think i can put all 6 gpu and riser one one psu. I can't afford the 1200 p2 right now lol :( lol

I have splitters on a Bitmain PS powering two lower wattage ASIC miners. Nothing has blown up yet, it's been running continuously for days and the two rigs consume less power then the max output of the PS.

Make sure you update the bios on the board...I have one of these boards and I have had no issues
The board will find issue for more than 4 gpus if you do not update the bios. Update the bios for 6 gpus.

Aww I stopped using hiveOS because the default image wasn't working for me too. Now I know to use the beta image

I actually switched from H110 BTC Pro to B250 Mining Expert because I had way too many defective H110's

B250 mining expert = rtfm
B250 with a celeron g3930 4gb ram rock solid for just over 2 years now. Never issues with it.

Actually ram is to always be installed in the designated chrnological socket order. So A1 would be the appropriate slot.
