Hello Guys,
Kabul to Mazar-e-Sharif highway, one of the most crucial roads of Afghanistan. It was my third day of Afghanistan trip & our plan was to travel from Kabul to Mazar-e-Sharif. Some people say this road is very dangerous, but according to my experience, it really was safe.
The most amazing part of this road is the Hindu Kush mountain range when you see hills covered with snow & small streams of water running through mountains. Let's be honest, Hindu Kush Mountains are really amazing & they are more surprising than whole Afghanistan.

Hope haven't mistaken your name. Thank you very much for making this trip and help changing the views of so many people around the world, especially Indians about Afghanistan.
Recently I was reading comments from our Indian brothers and sisters about Afghanistan which was a bit discomforting but I am sure after watching this series will definitely change their minds. As everyone in Kabul has told you that whatever is show in so called NEWS is not true, they just want to sell their tv/shows ALSO I would want to mention that you may need people like Rami for making your trip full of fun and getting as much as you can.
Some comments are given about the history of the country but will honestly tell you that due to lack of information or communication I would say, they were somehow mistranslated to you.
AND while going to Mazar-e-Sharif, I heard you saying that "you are not feeling safe". To let you know that your Afghan brother will take care of you, just move ahead and explore the country. When you weren't given permission to enter Kart-e-Sakhi Mosque (in Kabul), I would say that can be all lack of communication with authorities there. Otherwise you can freely enter the mosque with respect to it's nobility (taking off shoes, having decent and clothes). And brother when next time you are there and it's the month of Ramadan, you don't have to fast. You are free to eat, again the organizers at least can prepare something for you. It's the month of fasting for them not for you LOL.
I will be looking forward to be your host and take you to Band-e-Qargha, Paghman, Kabul Museum, Kabul Zoo and many other beautiful places around the country.
I loved your videos and watched them with my entire family and we were talking that these videos to some extent can surely change the minds about Afghanistan.

I am happy to see this video.I had once come to Afghanistan in 2007 for one week. That time I had travelled on this Kabul-Mazar road. It is absolutely amazing. Now I am back in Afghanistan and have been working here for last 4 years. I have come to Mazar several times during this period, but I have always come by flight. Our security doesn't allow us to travel by road any more. Afghanistan is a beautiful country. I hope one day we will be allowed to travel and see various places without fear of security. I have been to Samangan, Bamyan, Takhar and Badakshan. They are beautiful.

As Afghan and ex Muslim here is some people don't know meaning of Hindu Kush , hindu Kush doesn't kill Hindus , Since Semantics evolve, the holistic sense needs us to look into History, Linguistics and Semantics, Philology and even Culture to gain much perspective. Here's what comes up for this:
=>Hindu just means related to the Indus (Sindhu - misspelled as every other term that starts with “S” and made “H” by the Ancient Persians, they did the same with “Susa” their neighbor state as “Huz” )
Kush = Kosh (Lit. The cloth band on waist. The name also comes in Kushti/Pehelwani and is also very Important aspect of pride in Zoroastrian Culture). Just like the Tip of the Mountain is known “Choti” in Hindi, Kosh is used for the Mountain Ranges in Persian. Also, Bactria and Ariana (Afghanistan) were central to Iranian Zoroastrian Culture.
Thus, The Mountain Range along the Indus has been named Hindu Kush.
*This is Unbiased Philological Research in Semantics(The study of evolution and change of use of terms).
Alexander came after the established Persian Empire, and the idea of “Killing Hindus” is unlikely because the morphological forms existed Centuries earlier.
I have to sadly tell you people that just reading re-edited articles on Wikipedia is not enough without gaining much perspective.
