yeah the one thing i dont like in this anime is they just starting to fight without listening. same thing happened again but he kinda lost. he was in a hurry and the girl didnt listen at all so he faked his death agaisnt that girl.

LOL its rewatching this that I see the similarity between Rimuru flexing by using his Black Lightning Hurricane spell and ending the fight. Then in Season 3 Benimaru flexing and using his version of the Black Lightning Hurricane spell (HellFlare) to destroy Charybdis thus ending the invasion from Clayman's forces.
Rimuru would be so proud of Benimaru.
What rimuru used here was actually just black flame, so it's even more similar

@@bitwisedevs469 Rimuru was using his power poorly at this point in time. It's seeing the evolved ogre using advance application of his own skill that made him realize he wasn't using his skill to their full extend and the short term solution was handling control to great sage.
I kind of like how the fight here is with Shion is paralleled later with Clayman.
Yeah, to think the sexy and heroic shion who is known to love rimuru so much and yeah, has massacred the evil clayman, started as his enemy!😮

Fun fact: the sleeping powder Rimuru shot? From my understading, it's original idea was to melt the enemy, but it was so, and I mean SO brutal, they censored it in the manga and changed it to what it is now in the anime.
It's mentioned in the LN. Rimuru basically had to nerf it because it was too much.

This is the first couple episodes in the first season lol
I get that they wanted the monsters to change once they receive their names, but I really wish they had kept more of the OG designs for the Ogres. They look so much more distinct from every other isekai sidekick like that, whereas now they look more like humans with small horns rather than monsters. Same with Soka and the leveled lizardmen, who look completely human, occasionally with wings.
I really like this show overall, just have a few design nitpicks.
Though I do love that Gabiru is still dragonoid. In fact, he's going to be the one you see more of the siblings.

If I watched this without the knowledge that I have currently that they are not bad guys, I would have considered them evil bad guys that rimuru should have killed in order to protect the goblins with the help of ranga

He's not a boy. I use "he" because his ancient body was a man one. But he's current human body is genderless. (it's a slime representation of an human after all). Hence the androgyn look.

1. The worlds never showed galaxies or universal size and structure
2. Rimurus biggest feat. was with TURN NULL restored insde the imaginary space. Which was not universal too.
3. Veldanava created the Tensura world and the novels said ,,Veldanava was tired after creating planets"
Later it has been confirmed that worlds = planets.
For a universe it has to be a galactic amount.
Time space feats. are unusual for that kind of structure in form of a fantasy world.
