Awesome Greg! All The Fiends Of Hell is definitely on my radar for next year. I will be reading City Inferno in the new year. Will definitely be reading Lovecraft this month. I think I will go my own way and come up with a different plan for 2025.
Those are some great plans, Greg. You'll love The Fabulous Riverboat. Great series of books! My reading plan for 2025 is to have as little of a plan as possible. 😉
Daunting! I plan to join in on The Brothers Karamazov. I keep hearing about this Proust guy and I can't decide if I should go in on this. I am still behind on Against the Day but it is really good. I am having a good time. There was no cat intermission but that is okay. 😸😸😸
I’m impressed that you’re tackling Dennis Cooper as a straight man. There are many Gay men who can’t seem to handle his books. But they are absolutely worth it.
Happy Holidays Greg and thank you for the opportunity of buddy reading with me on these books . Babel and Frisk been on my TBR for a while now. I have found my Babel book edition at my local thrift store. You definitely have a great TBR collection of great books ahead of you. Enjoy your reads.
Garden of Beast isn’t about a zoo, you are confusing it with the Zoo Keeper’s Wife, which I think takes place in Poland. Garden is about the American ambassador to Germany, who was an academic and not a career diplomat and was basically ignored by the American government when he tried to inform them about the rise of Fascism and the Nazis antisemitism and power take over. Meanwhile even his family members start to flirt and get taken in by propaganda. An amazing work and so terrifying how it was all laid out there, but nothing was done.
Yes, I can absolutely relate to sitting down to do something and having it spiral out of control with a mind of its own!! Tana French is great :) The Fabulous Riverboat sounds amazing - will have to check that out. I've been meaning to try The Thursday Murder Club. In the Garden of Beasts and Remarkably Bright Creatures were both excellent (in very different ways). This Tender Land is one of my favorites - you're in for a treat! My dad was a huge Vonnegut fan, but I only read my first from him - Slaughterhouse Five - about 10 years ago - and I do have Breakfast of Champions on my shelf! I've never read any Proust. Ooh, I just got Brothers Karamazov on audio:) I've never read Lolita. Wow, Greg, you are juggling a LOT of buddy reads, group reads, book groups, and reading events!
Sounds like William would've been friends with Victor hugo on that regard, lol. I'm still in the middle of Les Miserables from Victor and hope to finish his book next year.
Some great plans lined up for 2025!
Wow, Greg! Very impressive plans for the year to come! I'm looking forward to a number of these events too.
2025 should be a great reading year. I'm looking forward to reading The Brothers Karamazov. I'm glad Framed in September will be returning.

Great plans Greg!😊
You have an amazing 2025 lined up 👏🏼👏🏼 and without the BookTube Prize! Cheers, Greg!
I will be reading the first book of In Search of Lost Time. I don't have the rest, unless they appear under the Christmas tree.

I’ve started Riverboat already and it’s straight in with the fun..
Glad to see “Framed” is returning, I enjoyed that!

Great plans Greg. Many similar to mine 😂. Happy reading

I started last night. So far not as graphic as Hogg by Samuel R. Delany.

I probably did confuse the two. Thanks.
I might have to drop into the Brothers Karamazov livestreams, love that book! ❤
Please do drop in.
