We love Piedmont! I can speak to getting someone else’s meat back at a custom processor. Picked up a couple hogs we had done at a place in SC stopped to get gas on the way out and just got curious so looked at my boxes and had 5 or 6 boxes of someone’s else’s cow 🤦🏻♀️
Wow, that is an impressive meat processing place. I've been to a small butcher to pickup my freezer pork before so I thought most places are like that but this place look so professional and well run. I wonder if there's anything close to this in Northern Virginia where I live. Probably a good way to find where to buy meat from is to just ask them for their list of small farm customers haha.
Fascinating. Will you also get a tour of their other facility? It certainly would be interesting to see their animal-handling facilities. (I get there's parts of the abattoir you can't show on TH-cam)
